Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan manajemen stres sebagai tindakan pencegahan untuk meminimalkan efek negatif dari stres.pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan soal terkait materi yang disampaikan selama pelatihan. Penelitian ini bersifat quasi eksperimen berupa one group pre test, post test design. Pelatihan dilakukan selama dua hari  dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 80 mahasiswa yang berasal dari berbagai fakultas di Universitas Negeri Malang. Di ukur secara pre test, di beri perlakukan kemudian diberi post test. Materi yang diberikan dalam pelatihan ini adalah 1) Definisi Stress, faktor penyebab; (2) Gejala-gejala Stress dan pengaruh stress dalam kehidupan sehari-hari; dan (3) Coping stress (4) simulasi dengan melakukan role play dan teknik relaksasi  Setelah seluruh proses dilakukan, dilakukan post test dan di hitung perbedaan nilai meannya. Analisis dilakukan dengan paired sample t-test dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 <alpha (0,05). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan manajemen stress ini tergolong efektif bagi mahasiswa. Mereka dapat memahami materi yang disampaikan dan ke depan dapat mempraktekkannya secara mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan ini, disarankan untuk melakukan pelatihan dalam jangka waktu yang lebih lama dan continue agar peserta lebih terampil untuk menjalankan strategi-strategi coping stress.Kata kunci : pelatihan management stress, mahasiswaDoi : http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um023v6i22017p076

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap organizational citizenship behavior pada Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dan korelasional sebab akibat. Pengambilan subyek dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling. Dalam penelitian ini sampel berjumlah 58 pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Malang. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hasil ada pengaruh komitmen afektif, berkelanjutan, dan normatif terhadap OCB sebesar 46%.Kata Kunci: komitmen organisasi; organizational citizenship behaviorDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um023v8i22019p238

Abstract

Pembangunan ekuitas produk menjadi hal penting dalam memenangkan kompetisi perusahaan. Salah satu upaya yang sering digunakan adalah dengan memanfaatkan endorser. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kredibilitas typical person endorser produk R dengan ekuitas merek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Malang angkatan 2014–2018 berjumlah 697 orang mahasiswa yang memiliki karakteristik: (1) pengguna produk R; dan (2) pernah melihat bintang iklan produk R. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 orang merupakan sampel populasi. Terdapat dua instrumen yang digunakan, yaitu: (1) skala ekuitas merek produk yang terdiri atas 19 item; dan (2) skala kredibilitas endorser yang terdiri atas 15 item. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Pearson’s product moment. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh data rxy sebesar 0,461 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Dengan demikian, terdapat hubungan positif dan dalam kategori cukup antara kredibilitas typical person endorser dengan ekuitas merek produk R pada mahasiswa. Saran yang diberikan untuk perusahaan, yaitu perusahaan bisa memilih typical person endorser sebagai pendukung merek sekaligus juru bicara dalam iklan yang patut dipertimbangkan. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat mendalami penelitian ini pada analisis per aspek kredibilitas typical person endorser.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to understand the difference of concern for others based on adolescence’s sex who have problem in behavior. The research uses quantitative approach with descriptive and comparativ. The subjects in this research are female and male adolescence in SMA Islam Swasta who have problem in behavior. The instrument in this study is using Kepedulian Terhadap Orang Lain scale. The analysis of this research is descriptive analysis and independent sample t-test. The result of this research shows that (1) most of the female adolescence in SMA Islam Swasta have average concern for others. (2) most of the male adolescence in SMA Islam Swasta have average concern for others. (3) there’s a difference of concern for others based on adolescence’s sex in SMA Islam Swasta. Keywords: concern for others, sex Abstrak: Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui kepedulian terhadap orang lain pada remaja SMA Islam Swasta Kabupaten Malang ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif dan uji perbedaan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja perempuan dan laki-laki di SMA Islam Swasta Kabupaten Malang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa skala Kepedulian Terhadap Orang Lain. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) sebagian besar remaja SMA Islam Swasta perempuan yang memiliki masalah perilaku di Kabupaten Malang memiliki kepedulian terhadap orang lain sedang, (2) kepedulian terhadap orang lain remaja SMA Islam Swasta laki-laki di Kabupaten Malang yang memiliki masalah perilaku termasuk dalam taraf sedang, (3) terdapat perbedaan kepedulian terhadap orang lain pada remaja SMA Islam Swasta berdasarkan jenis kelamin. Abstract

Abstract: Financial self-efficacy is closely related with financial management behavior. When the individual's level of confidence is high, then the individual will be motivated to do everything in order to achieve his goal. Similarly, it is associated with individual behavior in managing their finances. The higher the level of efficacy or the level of individual confidence, the better or responsible for managing finances. The high level of confidence is due to individuals being able to think long in terms of financial management. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Financial Self-Efficacy on Financial Management Behavior in Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang. This research uses descriptive correlation method. The population of this research is Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang with 100 people who have characteristics (a) actively registered as Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang, (b) male and female sexes, (c) located at 20-35 years old. The research sample was 100 people using probability sampling techniques. In the validity and reliability test the results obtained are: (a) the scale of financial self-efficacy with 6 valid items having 0.677; (b) the scale of financial management behavior with 38 valid items with reliability of 0.950. The results of the study (1) the financial self-efficacy of Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang are in the low category; (2) financial management behavior of Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang are in a category that tends to be low. Hypothesis test results using simple linear regression obtained R value of 0.402 and R square value of 0.162, which indicates that there is an influence of financial self-efficacy on the financial management behavior of 16.2%. Conclusions obtained: (1) Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang have low financial self-efficacy. (2) Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang have a low financial management behavior. (3) Financial self-efficacy is a predictor of financial management behavior of Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang. Financial self-efficacy is low will also have a low financial management behavior. Suggestions that can be given are (1) for Ojek Online drivers (GRAB) in Malang, can improve financial self-efficacy and financial management behavior that is owned. (2) Further researchers are expected to pay more attention to the theory and measuring instruments used in the study, and to increase the number of research respondents. Keywords: financial self-efficacy; financial management behavior Abstrak: Financial self-efficacy memiliki hubungan dengan financial management behavior, yakni ketika keyakinan individu tinggi, maka individu akan semakin baik dan bertanggung jawab terhadap pengelolaan keuangan. Tingginya tingkat keyakinan dikarenakan individu mampu berpikir terkait pengelolaan keuangannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Financial Self-Efficacy terhadap Financial Management Behavior pada pengemudi ojek online (GRAB) di kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pengemudi ojek online (GRAB) di kota Malang berjumlah 100 orang yang memiliki karakteristik (a) terdaftar aktif sebagai pengemudi ojek online (GRAB) di kota Malang, (b) jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan, (c) berada pada rentan usia 20-35 tahun. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 orang merupakan sampel populasi. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala financial self-efficacy berjumlah 6 aitem dengan validitas 0,375-0,749 dan reliabilitas 0,677. Skala financial management behavior berjumlah 32 aitem valid dengan validitas 0,362-0,757 dan reliabilitas 0,950. Uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian (1) financial self-efficacy berada dalam kategori rendah; (2) financial management behavior berada dalam kategori cenderung rendah. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai R 0,402 dan nilai R square sebesar 0,162, berarti ada pengaruh financial self-efficacy terhadap financial management behavior dengan determinasi varian financial self-efficacy terhadap financial management behavior sebesar 16,2% dan 83,8% disebabkan oleh variabel lain. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah (1) bagi pengemudi ojek online (GRAB) di kota Malang, dapat meningkatkan financial self-efficacy dan financial management behavior yang dimiliki. (2) Bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan untuk memperluas variabel penelitian yang lainnya, seperti kontrol diri, kepercayaan terhadap uang, kepuasan terhadap keuangan, pengetahuan keuangan, sikap keuangan, tingkat pendapatan, dan demografi. Abstract

This study aims to find out the career happiness of a single mother working. The model used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data collection uses interviews, observation, and questionnaires to determine the consistency of answers. Data analysis techniques use thematic analysis techniques. To find out the validity of the data by checking the answers during the interview and compared with the answers to the questionnaire. This research was carried out in the city of Malang and Malang district with the number of three single mothers participants. This research is expected to be a new knowledge for both students and the people out there that being a single mother is not easy. A single mother really needs the support and affection of the people around her. For other researchers who want to do research on happiness with single mothers working, researchers should use the background of participants to be the same single mother and the existence of age criteria in the selection of participants so that it can provide better and more diverse research results.

Abstract

Innovative work behavior is an essential factor for entrepreneurial success. This research aims to examine (1) how emotional intelligence influences innovative work behavior, (2) how flow at work influences innovative work behavior, and (3) how emotional intelligence and flow at work influence innovative work behavior. The population of this research is MSME entrepreneurs in the city of Malang. Through a purposive sampling technique, 124 entrepreneurs were obtained as samples in this research with the criteria of having been in business for two years or more, having a business in the MSME category, and being under the guidance of the Department of Industry and Trade Cooperatives in Malang City. The scales used are the Innovative Work Behavior (IWB), Assessing Emotion Scale (AES), and WOrk-reLated Flow inventory (WOLF). The validity of the items in this research used Pearson correlation, and the reliability of the instruments on the three scales was measured using Cronbach's alpha formula. The results of statistical techniques of multiple regression analysis showed that emotional intelligence and flow at work significantly influence innovative work behavior, both partially and simultaneously. Partially, emotional intelligence contributes 17.4 percent to innovative work behavior. Meanwhile, flow at work can explain innovative work behavior variables by 16%. Simultaneously, these two variables influence 24.9 percent of innovative work behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of time management and social media addiction on academic procrastination in undergraduate students. The research method used is quantitative, with the incidental sampling technique. Respondents in this study amounted to 417 undergraduate students from universities in Malang City. The data was obtained from a questionnaire consisting of a time management scale, a social media addiction scale, and an academic procrastination scale. Test the hypothesis in this study using a multiple linear regression test with a coefficient of determination (R-squared) value of 0.481. The results showed a significant effect between time management, social media addiction and academic procrastination. Students with poor time management and social media addiction tend to have academic procrastination problems. Further research is needed to find out the factors that influence time management, social media addiction and academic procrastination in undergraduate students in more depth.

Abstract

Psychological capital is a psychological construct encompassing self-efficacy, optimism, hope, and resilience, which are core factors that contribute to the emergence of positive organizational behavior (POB) or measurable, developable, and channelable positive behavior in an organization. Developing psychological resources becomes crucial for facing challenges and changes during an era of IT industry disruption. This research examines the effectiveness of a PsyCap training program in increasing the psychological capital of Company X employees in facing the disruption era. The quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental research design was used to measure changes in values during the intervention (pretest-posttest). A purposive sampling technique was used to select 60 subjects based on their level of psychological capital characteristics. The PsyCap training program was designed based on Luthans’ theoretical framework, utilizing treatment instruments in the form of a PsyCap training module. Data analysis involves two types of analysis: descriptive analysis and parametric statistical analysis using the paired sample t-test. The research findings reveal a comparison of the level of psychological capital between experimental and control groups, with a gain score value of .001 (less than .05) and a sufficient level of effectiveness (66 percent). The results of this research suggest that PsyCap training treatment on an experimental group of employees at Company X is effective for enhancing psychological capital. As a suggestion for future researchers, it is recommended that they be more cautious in controlling the presence of extraneous variables.
