Abstract

Parking is a temporary stop that has been provided for types of vehicles. Along with the development of increasingly modern times, the use of private cars as a means of transportation has become commonplace. Private vehicle users who want to park are not well informed about the state of the parking area. Because there is no information about the availability of empty parking spaces. With a system that provides information on the entry and exit of vehicles, it is hoped that it can help and provide solutions to motorists in finding locations that are still empty. For the parking lot provider it makes it easy to take action with an information system regarding the number of entries and exits if the parking lot is full using the Karnaugh-map method. The results of the load cell sensor calibration using the linear regression method were successful, the R value was 1 and Sx was 9%. From the classification of motorbikes and cars, each consists of light, medium and heavy ultrasonic sensor programming successfully calculates and differentiates the number of vehicles between motorbikes and cars by using the selection.

Abstract

Abstract

Internal Permanent Magnet brushless DC motor is one of the various types of electric motors using permanent magnets that are inserted into the rotor's core without having to stick it like a permanent magnet motor mounted on the surface. This motor has better torque characteristics, high efficiency, and sturdy construction. But the consequences in the use of permanent magnets can’t be separated from the interaction between the permanent magnetic field mounted by the rotor with stator teeth. So that development is needed to obtain the results of better cogging torque and efficiency, such as variations in the external rotor IPM-V angular range of 80 °, 90 ° and 100 ° in 18 slots and 16 pole models which are simulated using the Infolytica Magnet application based on Finite Element Method (FEM), the data is processed using Microsoft Excel, so that the output will be a parameter in the Simulink MATLAB 2016a modeling to get the characteristics of the design motor. Variation testing on the motor is done at a speed of 2100 rpm. The results of the test show that the minimum cogging torque value in the angle model of the 90 ° magnetic range is 1.64 Nm with the highest efficiency of 80.6%. Smaller cogging torque values will reduce vibration or noise when the motor is spinning. The high value of efficiency indicates the losses that cause heating on the motor are smaller, so that the motor operating period becomes longer.

Abstract

COVID-19 has become a world concern because of the spread and number of cases that have befallen the world. Medical workers are the first exposed group because they have direct contact with patients. So, a vehicle is needed to replace tasks such as logistics, delivery, and patient waste transportation. An autonomous wheeled mobile robot (AWMR) is a wheeled robot capable of moving freely from one place to another. AWMR is required to have good navigation and trajectory control skills. The purpose of this study is to develop an AWMR navigation system model based on the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithm, accurately in a dynamic environment. With this research, developing a good navigation and trajectory method for AWMR, in the future, it can be applied to produce an AWMR platform for multipurpose. This research was conducted in two stages of development. The first year is the research that is currently being carried out, focused on sensor modeling, designing SLAM-based navigation models, and making navigation system testbeds. This research produces a trajectory navigation and control system that can be implemented on an AWMR platform for the purposes of logistics, transportation, and patient waste in hospitals.

Abstract

Breast cancer is still one of the fears for most women in the world and ranks first regarding the number of cancers in Indonesia and is one of the first contributors to cancer deaths. Breast cancer patients with low self-acceptance will cause stress, lack of confidence, lack of enthusiasm for recovery and will affect poor health management. Self-acceptance is directly proportional to the patient's quality of life. The greater the patient's self-acceptance of their disease, the better the quality of life of breast cancer patients. The purpose of this analysis is to explain self-acceptance in breast cancer patients. An analysis of the concept of self-acceptance was conducted on articles published between 2019 and 2024. The databases used include Google Scholar, Proquest, Pubmed, and Science Direct. The results of the analysis show that the concept of self-acceptance has four attributes, namely, acceptance of physical changes, acceptance of physical and emotional limitations, accepting social and role limitations, accepting the healing process and uncertainty. Based on these attributes, nurses assess self-acceptance in breast cancer sufferers comprehensively. The results of the assessment will be the basis for nurses in determining appropriate diagnoses and nursing interventions to improve self-acceptance in breast cancer patients, by reducing psychological burden to improve quality of life.

Abstract

Introduction: Patients undergoing hemodialysis in hospitals are often faced with a variety of complex physical, psychological and social challenges. Family support has been identified as a key factor in improving patients' quality of life and adherence to therapy. Family support interventions for hemodialysis patients can help address issues related to the decline in quality of life. Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between family support interventions and self-care behaviors and the quality of life of chronic kidney patients undergoing hemodialysis. Methods: This study was conducted using nine articles obtained between April 2 and May 18, 2025. Results: A total of nine relevant research articles were identified and analyzed, revealing a positive relationship between family support interventions and both self-care behavior and the quality of life of chronic kidney patients undergoing hemodialysis. Several factors were found to influence the effectiveness of these interventions, including patient characteristics, family conditions, the type and intensity of the intervention, socioeconomic factors, and the role of healthcare professionals. However, some aspects remain underexplored, such as family emotional intelligence, multigenerational family dynamics, the role of technology in family support, family spirituality, caregiver burnout, and family perceptions and expectations regarding treatment outcomes. Conclusion: Family support interventions can enhance self-care behavior and improve the quality of life of hemodialysis patients.
