Abstract

The purpose of this study to : Examining the effect of motivation on the performance of elementary school teachers in the district Dikpora UPTD Sayung Demak regency.Testing the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of elementary school teachers in the district Dikpora UPTD Sayung Demak regency.Test the effect of labor discipline moderating influence of motivation on the performance of elementary school teachers in the district Dikpora UPTD Sayung Demak regency. Examine the effect of labor discipline moderating influence of job satisfaction on the performance of elementary school teachers in the district Dikpora UPTD Sayung Demak. Research conducted an empirical study to prove the effect of work motivation and job satisfaction on the performance of elementary school teachers working in the discipline moderated Dikpora UPTD Sayung Demak district numbering 343 people scattered in 44 schools. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling, the samples were taken by 78 teachers, variables studied were the independent variables of work motivation and job satisfaction, namely labor discipline moderating variables and the dependent variable teacher performance. Data analysis techniques in this study using regression analysis and hypothesis testing moderation calculation t test at ignificance level of 5%. The results were obtained: Motivation significant positive effect on teacher performance, obtained significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05.Job satisfaction significant positive effect on teacher performance, obtained significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05.Discipline is not working to strengthen the influence of motivation on teacher performance obtained significance value of 0.344 is greater than 0.05.Discipline of work to strengthen the influence of job satisfaction on performance, teachers obtained significance value of 0.621 is greater than 0.05. Abstract

Picture media is one of the effective teaching aids to stimulate children in learning, picture media is used as a means to achieve learning objectives. Picture media can facilitate understanding and strengthen memory, with picture media teachers can foster students' interest in reading. This community dedication aims to improve the English reading skills of 7th-grade students at SMP Islam Arrahmaniyah through mentoring in making and utilizing picture media as teaching materials. The methods used include training for teachers in designing creative and interesting picture media and direct mentoring in implementing it in the classroom. This activity is carried out in three stages, namely (1) socialization and training in making picture media, (2) mentoring in implementing picture media in learning, and (3) evaluation of learning outcomes. The activity results showed an increase in student enthusiasm and understanding of reading English texts, as well as an increase in teachers' ability to develop innovative teaching materials. Thus, this activity not only improves students' reading skills but also empowers teachers to create a more interactive and effective learning environment. It is hoped that this activity can be a model for other schools in improving the quality of English learning.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology makes teachers have to innovate in the teaching process. Of course, by utilizing technology in the learning process, students can compete with other countries. This community service (PkM) aims to assist Arahamniyah Islamic High School students in Mujur Village, East Praya District, in using digital technology to learn English. This activity is hoped to increase students' interest, motivation, and ability to master English by utilizing relevant digital platforms and tools. The methods used include intensive assistance to students and teachers, with a focus on the use of English learning applications, interactive media, and online learning resources. The expected results of this program are the creation of a more dynamic, creative, and effective learning environment, as well as increasing students' English competency. Apart from that, this program is also expected to equip teachers with the skills to integrate digital technology into the learning process. Thus, this activity not only has a positive impact on students but also supports the development of teacher professionalism in facing educational challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

In this globalization era, teachers have to provide mesmerizing method or strategy in order to have brilliant way of teaching and learning process. Therefore, this research and community outreach (PKM) was aimed to assist mentoring about developing students’ English language particularly speaking skill for the students of MTs. Nurul Islah Beleka. This activity was intended to increase students’ motivation in relation to learning English well. Not only is that but a mesmerizing method or strategy also will be more effective to make higher quality of students’ comprehension especially their speaking skill by using Immersion as a method. The PKM team did four steps such as planning, action. Closing activity, and evaluating activity. The result of this research and community outreach (PKM) was based on Brown (2001) that there are 7 indicators which indicates the quality of students’ speaking skill but only 6 indicators that the students reach for instances they were able to add their vocabulary, arrange their grammar, speak fluently, speak with good pronunciation, indicating a comprehension, and also they are capable to produce high quality of intonation. Those result above, was the outcome of using the Immersion strategy.

Abstract

In the current global era, the status of value education has become very central because its status is highly required to be able to provide meaning to every material subject to lead the Indonesian nation towards an advanced national civilization. This article aims to crystallize the concept of the importance of values education that educators need to know in the face of the conditions of global technological progress. This research uses the concept of desk research to demonstrate the urgency of the importance of values education. The results of the conceptual preparation show that the use of technology needs to be balanced with values education so that the values and character of the Indonesian nation remain intact and preserved. If the current value inculcation in education is not strengthened, it is not impossible that the Indonesian nation will gradually lose its identity and will not be able to maintain its national identity because it is easily influenced by global foreign culture. Therefore it can be concluded that technological progress needs to be enhanced through values education as a filter so that students can be critical in moral reasoning and considerations and be able to choose good and correct values on religious grounds. And morals, ethics and customs applied in Indonesia.

Abstract

Youth misbehavior, especially among Generation Z, has become an increasing social problem in the digital era. This community service aims to identify the factors that cause juvenile delinquency and assess the effectiveness of legal socialization in increasing students' legal awareness at MTs Al-Hidayah Samboja, Tanjung Harapan Village. Activities were carried out using observation and legal socialization methods, which included material presentation and interactive discussions with class IX students. The results showed that psychological, social, and subcultural factors play an important role in influencing adolescent deviant behavior. Legal socialization proved effective in improving students' understanding of the legal consequences of deviant actions and the importance of complying with social norms. In conclusion, an interactive legal education approach can increase legal awareness and help reduce the potential for juvenile delinquency, especially if supported by a conducive social environment.

Abstract

Previous studies have shown that the Scrabble game is effective in improving reading ability and student engagement in English learning. However, there is limited study on its effectiveness in enhancing reading comprehension, particularly of descriptive texts. Moreover, few studies have explored the use of the Scrabble game in the context of the Kurikulum Merdeka and among first-grade senior high school students. Therefore, the aim of this study was to find out whether the use of the Scrabble game can improve students’ reading comprehension of descriptive. The design of this study was classroom action research. The writer took 35 students as the subject of the study. The data was obtained through observation, test, and documentation. The study used qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed an improvement in students’ comprehension through the use of the Scrabble game. In the second cycle, the data indicated high scores, with an overall mean of 83.79. This means that all students surpassed the minimum passing score of 70, as set by the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Using the Scrabble game made students more active and engaged in the learning process, helping them to memorize the subject matter more easily. They only required a small amount of motivation.

Abstract

Early marriage, which reflects the low social status of women, remains a persistent social tradition that extends the childbearing period faced by adolescent brides and increases childbirth risks because they are not yet physically ready to give birth. This study aims to examine the implementation of early marriage education at MA NW Keruak and its impact on students’ awareness and behavior regarding early marriage. A qualitative method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings show that MA NW Keruak implements early marriage education through counseling, discussions, and extracurricular activities, thereby embedding the topic within both formal and non-formal school contexts. This education has a positive impact on students’ awareness of the risks and consequences of early marriage. The study concludes that integrating early marriage education into school programs constitutes a strategic effort to strengthen adolescents’ understanding of early marriage and is expected to serve as a reference for other schools in designing similar educational initiatives to help reduce the incidence of early marriage.
