Abstract

The purpose of this study is find out teacher’s strategy in giving feedback in writing descriptive text and to identify whether or not teacher’s feedbacks affect students in writing descriptive text. This research adopts qualitative research design. In collecting the data, the researcher will attempt to collect the data using a participant observation and questioner. The data analysis, the researcher uses three steps such as reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of the observation is that the teacher’s feedback in writing English made by students is Commentary, Correction, and Minimal Marking. The result of the teacher’s interview are conducted with six students coming from low, average, and high achievers. The writer found four kinds of students’ responses namely correcting, revising, consulting, and ignoring.

Abstract

Discipline is one element of the quality of human resources. Discipline can make someone feel obedient and obedient to the values they believe in so that they are more responsible for managing the order of personal and group life. Disciplining through education is the duty of every educational institution. Because with discipline all activities will run smoothly. This research is qualitative field research. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, and documentation. The research aims to explain the role of class teachers in improving student learning discipline. The research results show that 1) There are programs organized by educational institutions, establishing school and class regulations, and involving students' parents. 2) In the learning process, discipline is essential, because that way students will feel comfortable and safe in the teaching and learning process and therefore teachers have their way or method of disciplining students in the learning process. 3) Driving and Inhibiting Factors are as follows: Its implementation has several supporting factors. The supporting factors include The same initiative, an association between student guardians, coordination from various parties, evaluation, provision of role models, and supporting facilities and infrastructure. Apart from supporting factors, there are also inhibiting factors. Factors inhibiting teachers' efforts to improve student discipline are different environments, parents who care less about their children, and the economy, and low IQ.

Abstract

Picture media is one of the effective teaching aids to stimulate children in learning, picture media is used as a means to achieve learning objectives. Picture media can facilitate understanding and strengthen memory, with picture media teachers can foster students' interest in reading. This community dedication aims to improve the English reading skills of 7th-grade students at SMP Islam Arrahmaniyah through mentoring in making and utilizing picture media as teaching materials. The methods used include training for teachers in designing creative and interesting picture media and direct mentoring in implementing it in the classroom. This activity is carried out in three stages, namely (1) socialization and training in making picture media, (2) mentoring in implementing picture media in learning, and (3) evaluation of learning outcomes. The activity results showed an increase in student enthusiasm and understanding of reading English texts, as well as an increase in teachers' ability to develop innovative teaching materials. Thus, this activity not only improves students' reading skills but also empowers teachers to create a more interactive and effective learning environment. It is hoped that this activity can be a model for other schools in improving the quality of English learning.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology makes teachers have to innovate in the teaching process. Of course, by utilizing technology in the learning process, students can compete with other countries. This community service (PkM) aims to assist Arahamniyah Islamic High School students in Mujur Village, East Praya District, in using digital technology to learn English. This activity is hoped to increase students' interest, motivation, and ability to master English by utilizing relevant digital platforms and tools. The methods used include intensive assistance to students and teachers, with a focus on the use of English learning applications, interactive media, and online learning resources. The expected results of this program are the creation of a more dynamic, creative, and effective learning environment, as well as increasing students' English competency. Apart from that, this program is also expected to equip teachers with the skills to integrate digital technology into the learning process. Thus, this activity not only has a positive impact on students but also supports the development of teacher professionalism in facing educational challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

In this globalization era, teachers have to provide mesmerizing method or strategy in order to have brilliant way of teaching and learning process. Therefore, this research and community outreach (PKM) was aimed to assist mentoring about developing students’ English language particularly speaking skill for the students of MTs. Nurul Islah Beleka. This activity was intended to increase students’ motivation in relation to learning English well. Not only is that but a mesmerizing method or strategy also will be more effective to make higher quality of students’ comprehension especially their speaking skill by using Immersion as a method. The PKM team did four steps such as planning, action. Closing activity, and evaluating activity. The result of this research and community outreach (PKM) was based on Brown (2001) that there are 7 indicators which indicates the quality of students’ speaking skill but only 6 indicators that the students reach for instances they were able to add their vocabulary, arrange their grammar, speak fluently, speak with good pronunciation, indicating a comprehension, and also they are capable to produce high quality of intonation. Those result above, was the outcome of using the Immersion strategy.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education is a form of education that emphasizes laying the foundation for physical growth and development (fine and gross motor coordination), intelligence (thinking power, creativity, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence), socio-emotional attitudes and behaviors and religion), language and communication, in accordance with the uniqueness and stages of development that early childhood goes through. This study aims to analyze the effect of playdough game interactions on children's creativity at PAUD Al Muniri Wates. In this study, the method used is the experimental method. The data collection technique for this study is through documentation, observation and checklist techniques. The data analysis technique for this study is through data normality tests, homogeneity tests. Based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained through research on the effect of playdough games on children's creativity at PAUD Al Muniri Wates, based on the results of the research that the researcher has done regarding the results of calculations using SPSS by comparing the F value produced by the Fcount calculation with the Ftable value, the Fcount value is 6.860> Ftable value of 4.54, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of role play on children's interpersonal intelligence at PAUD AL Muniri Wates with a significance value of 0.000 <α value of 0.021. From the results of monitoring children's creativity abilities, it can be concluded that playdough games have an effect on children's creativity at PAUD Al Muniri Wates.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to analyze the non-major students’ speaking anxiety in language learning classroom. The subject of this research was the 2nd grade students of the study program of Islamic Educational Management (MPI) of STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok. This research investigated various categories of anxiety and their causal factors. The research utilized a case study feature. The data were collected through classroom interaction observations and interviews. The data were then analyzed and interpreted to answer the research questions. This research achieved two results related to the research questions. First, the researcher obtained three proven categories of anxiety such as Anxious Nature, Contextual Anxiety, and State Anxiety. The category of students’ speaking anxiety was based on Elis theory. Furthermore, the researcher gained three causal factors that brought up the students’ speaking anxiety such as Speech Anxiety, Exam Anxiety, and Dread of Negative Evaluation. The causal factors of students’ speaking anxiety was based on Horwitz theory. Additionally, pupils have speaking anxiety due to a lack of vocabulary and grammatical skills. Thus, on behalf of forcing the students to be more confident, eloquent, and disappear their anxiety to speak, lecturers should uplifting them by having brilliant approach and creativity in teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Management studentship is a series of activities that have been planned and developed for students so they can carry out activities Study teach effectively and efficiently starting from reception student until graduation student from school. Study aim for know how field waka planning studentship in enhancement quality of OSIM, implementation of student programs in enhancement OSIM quality and field deputy strategy evaluation studentship in enhancement OSIM quality at MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung. Types of research This is qualitative. technique data collection used use method interviews, observation, and documentation. data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal conclusion. whereas checking wetness study uses triangulation, persistence observation, and approach based on forever study. Results of the study show that management deputy head of field Strategy studentship in enhancement OSIM quality at MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung namely: 1) Field waka planning studentship in increase the quality of the OSIS at MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung with carry out meeting, handover design to Head schools and outreach programs to OSIM member. 2) Implementation of the field waka strategy studentship in enhancement OSIS quality is appropriate with planning beginning. In implementing the OSIM program, the OSIM Advisor and Deputy Head of Student Affairs always guide and supervise the course of the program. 3) Evaluation of Deputy Head of Field Strategy studentship in enhancement OSIM quality at MA Palapa Nusantara NW Selebung held after program implementation. Evaluation of the aim for evaluating program implementation and overcoming problems during implementation of programs for more implementation Good again.

Abstract

Education for human life is an absolute life that must be fulfilled throughout life. Without education, a group of people will find it difficult to live and develop in line with their ideals to progress. This study aims to: 1) determine the role of parental and teacher guidance on student learning achievement in mathematics, 2) determine the challenges of parents and teachers in guiding students, and 3) determine the increase in student learning achievement at MI NW Tenges-Enges. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study conclude the role of parental and teacher guidance on student learning achievement in mathematics in class V MI NW Tenges-Enges, where the role of teacher guidance has been running well and the role of adult guidance is still not running well because there are parents who are still less able to divide their time between work and guiding children, do not understand the material and parents do not know what to do when they have to guide students in studying at home. The suggestions based on the research that has been done are: 1) for teachers, teachers must be patient in guiding students, especially in explaining the material, guiding students who are less focused during learning and students who rarely attend school. 2) students, should understand the study time and playtime during learning. 3) parents, must pay more attention to children in learning, especially parents must be able to divide their time to guide children in learning.
