<![CDATA[Hipertensi adalah salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang dapat menyerang siapa saja, baik muda maupun tua. Hipertensi juga sering disebut sebagai silent killer karena termasuk penyakit yang mematikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tekanan darah sebelum dilakukan senam pada lansia penderita hipertensi dan menganalisis efektivitas senam terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia yang menderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Unit I Kecamatan Sumbawa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan desain penelitian one-group pretestposttest design. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner dan melakukan pemeriksaan tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah senam pada 28 orang lansia yang menderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Unit I Kecamatan Sumbawa. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji t-test diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000 (p-value <0,05), nilai probabilitas < 0,005 dengan hasil Persen N Gain score 51,11%. Nilai rata-rata tekanan darah sebelum perlakuan mengalami penurunan 151/86 mmHg menjadi 143/83 mmHg. Kesimpulannya, terdapat pengaruh senam terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Unit I Kecamatan Sumbawa.]]>

<![CDATA[Diabetes mellitus is a disease that requires long-term therapy and can cause complications in various organs. Knowledge is an important factor for the formation of good health behavior, including medication adherence. Objective: To get an overview and analyze the correlation between knowledge and medication adherence of type 2 DM patients in Batu Bangka Hamlet, Sumbawa Regency. Methods: An observational study with a cross sectional design was carried out on Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) patients in Batu Bangka Hamlet, Sumbawa Regency. Research respondents were 30 people who were selected and participated. Based on the results of the analysis test with chi square, the value of x2 count (11,429) > x2 table (3,841) shows that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is a relationship between Knowledge and Compliance with Taking Medicines in Dusun Batu Bangka, Sumbawa Regency in 2020. This research is expected to be a reference for the community to increase knowledge and drug compliance to prevent the occurrence of type II DM. Subsequent research is directed to be closer in relation to respondents who have just experienced DM (less than 5 years) with respondents who have long suffered from type II DM so that adherence to them can be more visible. <![CDATA[Background: The implementation of sanitation standards and cleanliness of the work environment in health care facilities is an absolute must. Hospital Sanitation is an effort by the health care system in hospitals to create clean, comfortable, healthy hospital conditions, prevent cross-infection, and not discuss the environment. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the application of hygiene and sanitation standards to the work environment in health care facilities. Research Metodes: This study uses quantitative methods using a descriptive design. This research was conducted at the Sumbawa Hospital, and the data collection technique used an observation system and a checklist sheet whose results were calculated using a scoring system. The time of study was carried out in November 2021. Results: The results/findings of the study showed that the achievement of implementing environmental sanitation was 90.4%, the achievement of environmental health was 91.6%, and the achievement of environmental sanitation was 92.3%. Conclusion: In conclusion, the study results indicate that the implementation of sanitation and hygiene in the work environment at the Sumbawa Hospital has met the requirements. It's just that there is still a need for improvement in aspects of environmental health implementation, especially in parts of air sanitation and waste management..]]>

<![CDATA[Penyakit Berbasis Lingkungan adalah suatu kondisi patologis berupa kelainan fungsi atau morfologi suatu organ tubuh yang disebabkan oleh interaksi manusia dengan segala sesuatu disekitarnya yang memiliki potensi penyakit. Penyakit berbasis lingkungan masih menjadi permasalahan hingga saat ini. Lingkungan berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan manusia. Infeksi penyakit dapat terjadi jika terdapat ketidakseimbangan hubungan antara lingkungan, agen penyakit dan pejamu. Perubahan iklim merupakan salah satu faktor lingkungan yang berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan masyarakat. Perubahan iklim dapat memicu perkembangbiakan penyakit tular vektor karena berkaitan dengan suhu, kelembaban udara dan curah hujan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Kukin pada tanggal 18 Juni 2022. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam upaya adaptasi dan mitigasi dampak perubahan iklim terhadap penyakit berbasis lingkungan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melewati tahapan perizinan, audiensi, pelaksanaan serta evaluasi program pengabdian. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini melibatkan 23 orang peserta yang merupakan warga masyarakat sekitar. Dengan adanya pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait dengan dampak perubahan iklim bagi perkembangan penyakit berbasis lingkungan.]]>

<![CDATA[Lack of knowledge about menstruation can be the cause of long-term reproductive health problems and make young women unprepared for menstruation. Unpreparedness to face menarche causes adolescents to have negative responses such as shame, fear, and worry. Community service activities were carried out in July 2022. The activity was attended by 25 students of class V and VI SD Negeri Songkar. The implementation of community service activities used is the dissemination of reproductive health as a preparation for facing menarche. The method used is the lecture method using leaflets, question and answer method and games/ quizzes. Provision of knowledge about reproductive health to elementary school students needs to be done either as an additional subject or in the form of counseling outside of teaching and learning activities.]]>

<![CDATA[Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is a program created for workers/laborers and entrepreneurs as a preventive measure for the occurrence of work accidents and diseases due to work relations in the work environment by recognizing things that have the potential to cause work accidents and diseases caused by work. work relationship. One type of work that is prone to accidents and occupational health problems is a waste transport officer. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of waste transport officers in Raberas about K3, This service activity involves waste transport officers in the Raberas area, the implementation has been carried out in April-May 2022 and involves 15 garbage collectors. The service is carried out starting from preparation to evaluation, the method used in the service is the method of socialization and application (applicative) directly in the field. The evaluation results show that the level of knowledge of officers about Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is still low, with this community service activity it is expected to increase the knowledge and awareness of waste transport officers at the Raberas TPA when carrying out activities because they have a high risk so they must use appropriate PPE. complete and apply a clean and healthy lifestyle.]]>

<![CDATA[Diabetes mellitus (DM) has become a world health problem and continues, especially in developing countries and is a health problem that impacts human resources. The number of cases and the prevalence of diabetes have continued to increase over the last few decades. Sumbawa Regency is one of the areas in NTB where DM sufferers are increasing. The purpose of this study was to see its effectiveness as food for people with type 2 diabetes. This experimental research was an experiment. Diabetes Mellitus patients received direct treatment by offering Ganyong as food as food for the rice group. The research was conducted in 3 health centers located in the working area of Sumbawa Regency. This research involved 40 respondents in which 20 respondents became the Experiment group and 20 respondents became the Control group. Data were collected through interviews and observations using questionnaires and blood samples were examined for respondents to see their initial blood sugar levels before being given treatment to the experimental group. Based on the results of the t test analysis on Diabetes Mellitus Patients, there is a significant difference between treatment and after treatment with a difference value of 72.25 and a value of 0.040. While the results of laboratory analysis using the luff-schroll test with the titration method found that the carbohydrate content in ganyong was 84.7%, the glucose content was 23%, the air content was 12.1% and the ash content was 3.86%.]]>

<![CDATA[Kasus kesehatan reproduksi yang paling banyak terjadi di Indonesia adalah kasus seks pra-menikah yaitu sebesar 15-20% dari total remaja. Masa remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari anak-anak menuju dewasa. Rendahnya pengetahuan remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan kemudahan mengakses media informasi yang tinggi mendukung remaja sering bersikap tidak tepat terhadap organ reproduksinya. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada remaja tentang dampak media sosial dan pengetahuan kespro serta perilaku seksual beresiko remaja sebagai upaya preventif munculnya permasalahan kesehatan reproduksi di kalangan remaja. Target pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah remaja di SMP Negeri 1 Moyo Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, pemutaran film pendek, penyuluhan, diskusi, dan tanya jawab.]]>

<![CDATA[Implementation of School Health Efforts can improve health status and shape students' clean and healthy living habits. Therefore, School Health Efforts with an emphasis on promotive and preventive efforts supported by quality curative and rehabilitative efforts, are very important and strategic to achieve the highest degree of health. Currently, the partner's UKS room has its own room and is complete with first aid kits and medicines. However, there is still a lack of utilization programs and there are no UKS staff members who can immediately provide first aid when a student is in pain. The purpose of UKS is to improve the quality of education and student learning achievement through improving the behavior of a clean and spiritual life so that students can grow and develop harmoniously and optimally along with being independent in their activities and ultimately becoming quality human beings. This community service was held at Songkar Public Elementary School, North Moyo District in May 2023. There are two methods used in this community service activity, namely counseling about UKS, choosing peers as small groups and role playing.]]>

<![CDATA[Antenatal care is one of the efforts that can be made by pregnant women so that the delivery goes smoothly with the aim of preparing for a physiological delivery so that the mother and child to be born are in good health. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were pregnant women who were in the working area of the Alas Health Center, totaling 30 people. The results showed that the highest level of anxiety for mothers before being given yoga exercises was at the level of severe anxiety (50%) and the level of anxiety for mothers after being given yoga exercises was mostly at moderate levels of anxiety (63.3%). And the results of the analysis show a 2-tailed value of 0.000, which means that there is an effect of yoga on the anxiety level of pregnant women.]]>
