Abstract

This project aims to develop a system that can monitor to detect leaks in water distribution networks. It has been projected that leakage from pipelines may lead to significant economic losses and environmental damage. The loss of water from leaks in pipeline systems accounts for a large portion of the water supply. Pipelines are maintained throughout their lives span; however, it is difficult to avoid a leak occurring at some point. A tremendous amount of water could be saved globally if automated leakage detection systems were introduced. An embedded system that monitors water leaks can efficiently aid in water conservation. This project focuses on developing a real-time water leakage detection system using a few types of sensors: water flow rate sensor, vibration sensor, and water pressure sensor. The data from the sensors is uploaded and stored by the microcontroller (NodeMCU V3) to the database cloud (Google Sheets). The data that is stored in the database is analyzed by artificial neural network (ANN) by using Matlab software. An application is developed based on results from ANN training to detect the leakage event. Implementing the proposed system can increase operations efficiency, reduce delay times, and reduce maintenance costs after leaks are detected.

Abstract

Blitar City is part of Blitar Regency in East Java Province. Here, there is also the tomb of Bung Karno, the First President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Proclaimer of Indonesian Independence. The existence of Bung Karno's grave is part of the tourism program in Blitar. In addition, there are other tourist attractions such as in the Semen Village, Gandusari District, Blitar. The existence of this tour will make the community around Semen Village to improve the quality of their education. This educational process requires a good learning space so as to make the educational process more comfortable. This is often done with the learning process carried out at home or around the house due to the covid 19 pandemic era. This service is carried out to improve the educational learning process in Semen Village, Gandusari District, Blitar by providing and increasing the space with a wider capacity. The methodology used is to build a study room using technology as a result of research that has been carried out by the main author. The building is made of Precast Composite Concrete. In addition, the authors conducted a survey on the existence of the construction of learning spaces to the user community. The hope of this service is that the existence of this increased study space will further increase the enthusiasm of the younger generation to learn and be ready to increase the tourism potential in Semen Village, Gandusari District, Blitar

Abstract

Sea transportation is also very much needed in the processing industry for ships and passengers and the flow of goods. Suppose the incoming ship can be seen as a sender of goods or the processing industry itself. This is supported very well by the cargo and costs for sea transportation, with much cargo at a relatively low cost. Analyzing the relationship of foreign sea transportation with the regional GDP of the processing industry sector. From ship visits consisting of total and units to passenger visits consisting of passenger arrivals and departure, for variable analysis using correlation and hypothesis testing. The results of overseas sea transportation with the GDP Regional the processing industry are for the correlation results of ship visits from units (0.613) with a strong and total correlation (0.596) with a moderate correlation, for passenger arrivals (0.262) and passenger departures (0.280) both have a low correlation relationship, for the unloading flow of goods (0.607) has a strong correlation. So the visits of foreign sea transportation ships with the GDP Regional of the processing industry sector have a significant relationship of (0.00) from the unit or total ships; for passenger visits, both do not have a substantial relationship for passenger arrivals (0.141) and passenger departures (0.115). The flow of unloading of goods has a significant relationship of (0.00). The greater the number of ship visits and the flow of unloading of goods, the higher the GDP Regional of the Processing Industry Sector, but the increasing number of passenger visits has no relation to the GDP Regional of the Processing Industry Sector.

Abstract

As the world's population increases, the need for a mode of transportation will increase, and the amount of transportation currently has positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is to help mobilize goods, people, and services. Negative impacts are traffic jams, air pollution, and accidents. This study aims to determine the relationship between land transportation and GDP Regional in the construction sector in Indonesia. The findings in this study indicate that (1) The relationship between GDP Regional for Construction and the length of State/National roads according to paved road surface has a deficient correlation level with a correlation interval value (0.105) with a Sig value (0.559 0.05). (2) The relationship between GDP Regional of construction and the length of provincial roads according to asphalt surface has a moderate relationship with a correlation interval value (0.527) with a Sig value (0.002 0.05), GDP Regional construction with a length of provincial roads according to gravel surface has a deficient relationship level with a correlation interval value (-0.271) with a Sig value (0.127 0.05).
