Abstract

Backround: Health in the community is formed from the closest and smallest environment, namely the family. Supported by the surrounding environment such as residence, school, workplace, and friends. Objective: This study will analyze the health problems that occur, especially in 31 families in Dusun Biru, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. After being analyzed, suggestions will be given to seek solutions to health problems that occur. Methods: The method used in this study is quantitative with a scoring technique. Previously, interviews would be conducted using a community diagnosis approach. Results: Data showed that 1 person was diagnosed with ARI (infectious disease) and 26 others had non-communicable diseases such as asthma (2), diabetes mellitus (9), heart disease (1), hypertension (12), and stroke (2). Conclusion: The highest health problems are hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Therefore, family support is needed to change a healthier lifestyle

Abstract

Background: Physical health of people living with cancer causes mental health disorders and unknowingly affects the overall quality of patients' life. As many as 34.40% of cancer patients in Indonesia experience depression due to anxiety and fear. Objective: Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the mental health of cancer patients in the hospital so that the relationship between the mental health of cancer patients and other factors, such as the characteristics of the respondents, family support, and spirituality, is known. Methods: The type of research for this study is quantitative with a cross-sectional design using the Pearson Chi-Square analysis. There were 96 respondents in this study who were cancer patients from Hospital X. The independent variables used were the respondent's demographic characteristics (age, gender, occupation, and education), family support, and spirituality, with the dependent variable being mental health (stress and depression). Results: The results of the study showed that cancer patients had the latest elementary school education (40.60%), status not working (61.50%), female (66.70%), early elderly (35.40%), 70.80% received moderate family support, 76% had moderate spirituality, 51% experienced moderate stress, and 57.30% had depression. The characteristics of respondents in this study, namely gender, education, occupation, and spiritual factors, were not associated with mental health in cancer patients. Conclusion: The results showed that age and family support were factors associated with the mental health of cancer patients, while other demographic characteristics (gender, occupation, and education) also spiritual factors were not associated with the mental health of the cancer patients.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve skills and increase public knowledge about plastic waste and how to use plastic which are waste that is difficult to process by soil so that it pollutes the environment into useful products, namely bags, heat retaining mats and other crafts. The methods used are counseling, training, and mentoring. The achievements obtained from service activities are groups of housewives and teenagers to be able to make and process plastic straws into various shapes with their respective creations so that they have economic value and increase household income and reduce plastic waste

Abstract

The efficiency of the pharmaceutical logistics management process can indirectly affect the balance of pharmaceutical supplies in hospitals. The aim of this research is to analyze the management of pharmaceutical logistics at Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital, Jambi Province during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using a phenomenological approach. The variables looked at include selection, planning, budgeting, procurement, storage and distribution. Data collection in this research was carried out by means of observation, in-depth interviews, and data review. The research results show that the guidelines in the Raden Mattaher Regional General Hospital Pharmacy Installation, Jambi Province are in accordance with the regulations issued by the Ministry of Health, however, in implementation there are still several things that have not been implemented and need to be evaluated regularly in accordance with the hospital's needs and Avoid things that are beyond predictions that are detrimental in the future.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk membekali ibu-ibu Aisyiyah di tingkat ranting di Yogyakarta tentang gerakan memberantas narkoba dan penyalagunaan obat-obat terlarang di masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu, 1) koordinasi dengan mitra dalam menentukan perwakilan kader setiap ranting Aisyiyah di Yogyakarta, 2) melakukan penyuluhan dengan menggunakan zoom meeting tentang bahaya narkoba, dampak narkoba, upaya pencegahan, deteksi dini narkoba. Di tahap kedua ini juga diberikan penguatan kaderisasi tentang peran Aisyiyah dalam pencegahan narkoba serta konsep team working dalam pemberantasan narkoba. Tahap terakhir adalah melakukan pendampingan melalui whattapp group supaya kegiatan ini dapat berjalan secara kontinyu. Tingkat pengetahuan kader diukur dengan cara memberikan pre-post test, dan menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan kader tentang narkoba setelah diberi pelatihan. Terbentuknya kader Aisyiyah dalam gerakan berantas narkoba sangat diperlukan sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab moral kepada masyarakat serta dalam upaya penyelamatan generasi bangsa.

Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia merupakan negara yang masih memiliki masalah kesehatan, terutama pernyakit tidak menular atau penyakit degeneratif. Penyakit tidak menular umumnya memiliki perawatan dalam jangka waktu yang panjang dan berlanjut, sehingga memerlukan perawatan lanjutan pasca mendapatkan perawatan di pelayanan kesehatan atau rumah sakit.untuk mendukung upaya perawatan lanjutan pasca perawatan di rumah sakit, RS PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul membentuk unit khusus untuk menangani pelayanan home care bagi pasien yang membutuhkan perawatan lanjutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program kegiatan pelayanan home care yang terdapat di wilayah RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul belum terlaksana secara maksimal. Non-communicable diseases generally have long term care and continue, so that they require continued care after getting treatment in health services or hospitals. To support continued care efforts after treatment at the hospital, PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Bantul formed a special unit to handleservices homecare for patients who need further care. This research was conducted with the type of qualitative research. With a case study approach. The results showed that the program ofservice activities home care in the PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul had not been implemented optimally.
