This research method used a Quasi-experimental design. The independent variable was forgiveness therapy that focused on emotions. The dependent variable was violent behavior. The populations were 64 patients with violent behavior using a simple random sampling technique and for the sample were 52 patients. Collecting data using general adaptive function response score (GAFR) observation sheets with Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney statistical tests. Wilcoxon test showed (p-value 0.002) after being given forgiveness therapy. The Wilcoxon test showed (p-value 0.513) after being given therapy that focused on emotions it can be concluded that there are differences in violent behavior before and after therapy of forgiveness and therapy that focused on emotions. Mann Whitney test results obtained (p-value 0.016) remission therapy was more effective in reducing the violent behavior of post restrain schizophrenia.

Abstract

There are many dental nurses with vocational high school or one year diploma degree. The aim of this study was to analyze various factors that influence the decision of dental nurses with a vocational high school or one year diploma degree to continue three years diploma through the RPL program. The sample of this study was 100 dental nurses in the East Java who worked at hospital or primary health care (PUSKESMAS). This was a crosssectional study. We used logistic Regression to analyze the data, first step was characteristic and external factor influence on decision to join RPL, second step was the effect characteristic and external factor influence on decision to join RPL amplified by psychological factors. The results showed that 1) there was an influence of characteristics on dental nurses’ decision 2) There was no influence of external factors on dental nurses’ decision. 3) Psychological factors strengthen the influence of characteristics on dental nurses’ decision and 4) Psychological factors do not strengthen the influence of external factors on dental nurses’ decision. Abstract

Nurse competency test passing rate in Indonesia is still below expectations. There is a correlation between GPA at graduation index. However, there is a similar trend between graduation with underachievement and failure indices with higher GPA. It requires a separate study in addition to the theory and practice of academic ability, need to review internal factors themselves students. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the ideal self, motivation, goal, ability, academic performance and adaptation of learning on nursing graduation of competency test, using a cross sectional design on a number of 119 new graduates of nursing students from two universities in Makassar, Indonesia during July-November 2017. Samples were selected by systematic random sampling. Variable observed were ideal self, academic goals, motivation, learning adaptation, academic ability, and competency test graduation. Bivariate analysis were Pearson correlation and Spearman correlation and the multivariate analysis were Logistic regression and Linear regression. The results showed that the ideal self had a positive correlation with academic goals (rs = 0.240, p = 0.008) and motivation (rs = 0.211, p = 0.021). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that motivation (p = 0.019) and academic purposes (p = 0.000) had a significant influence on learning adaptation. Multiple logistic regression test showed that the learning adaptation (p = 0.037), and the academic ability in theory (p = 0.024) had a significant effect on the graduation of competency test. Graduates nurses must have a corresponding ideal self to improve motivation. Motivation directing and encouraging learning behaviors that affect graduation of competency test. Academic goal setting directs graduates to adapt the learning process. Competence of graduates is not enough with just a written test that predicted by the theory of academic ability, but needs to be equipped with a practice test. Abstract

Drug abuse is a problem that must be taken seriously. Coping strategies are ways to deal with situations that are felt to be pressing and burden a person beyond their capabilities. The purpose of this study was to examine the coping strategies possessed by adolescent drug users who are currently undergoing a post-rehabilitation program at the National Narcotics Board (BNN) of East Java. The research method uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique is similar to the purposive sampling technique. In-depth interviews were conducted with five adolescent informants who underwent post-rehabilitation programs at BNN East Java. The results obtained are the stress experienced by adolescents occurs because of family problems. These problems will be more complex in late adolescence, so that it requires coping strategies. The type of coping strategy used is an emotion focused coping strategy and problem focused coping. There is a need for early detection of stress and strengthening coping strategies for adolescent drug users to avoid relapse during rehabilitation and post-rehabilitation.
