Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas VIII-A, (2) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil Belajar matematika kelas VIII-A, (3) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh motivasi belajar dan lingkungan keluarga secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas VIII-A, (4) untuk mengetahui faktor manakah yang dominan pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas VIII-A. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besar uji t motivasi belajar diperoleh (-2,437), uji t lingkugan keluarga diperoleh 3,802, uji F diperoleh F hitung 7,582 dan lingkungan keluarga lebih dominan terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 0,611. Di dalam penelitian hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh variabel independen sebesar 31,5% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh sebab-sebab yang lain. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam belajarnya dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berdasar masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan siswa menjadi 3 kelompok, yaitu kategori nilai matematika tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Data nilai diperoleh dari nilai akhir siswa yang diperoleh dari guru bidang matematika siswa. Kemudian dipilih secara acak satu siswa dari masing-masing kelompok yang akan menyelesaikan tes soal dan wawancara oleh peneliti. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi: mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan data dari hasil tes soal dan wawancara siswa. Terdapat empat indikator berpikir kreatif, yaitu berpikir lancar, berpikir luwes, berpikir orisinil dan kemampuan mengelaborasi. Siswa dengan kategori matematika tinggi mencapai 4 indikator yaitu berpikir lancar, berpikir luwes, berpikir orisinil, dan kemampuan mengelaborasi. Siswa dengan kategori matematika sedang memenuhi tiga indikator berpikir kreatif, yaitu berpikir lancar, berpikir luwes dan berpikir orisinil. Sedangkan siswa dengan kategori matematika rendah memenuhi satu indikator berpikir kreatif, yaitu berpikir lancar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada pokok bahasan bilangan bulat SMP kelas VII Yos Sudarso Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal bilangan bulat setelah diterapkan metode Quantum Teaching. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar pre test dan post test menggunakan metode Quantum Teaching dengan nilai H0 ditolak dimana db= 19-1, dan H1 diterima dan thitung 7,750 > ttabel = 2,101.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical disposition profile of students with high mathematical abilities in solving contextual problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques in this study were subject selection tests, mathematical disposition tests, interviews. The results of data analysis showed: subjects with high mathematical abilities in solving contextual questions showed aspects of self-confidence, flexibility, resilient teeth, and curiosity. With these results it can be drawn a statement that mathematical dispositions must always be instilled in students in every implementation of mathematics learning. In addition, the teacher's attitude in learning mathematics must be able to reflect the various characteristics of mathematical dispositions to be emulated by students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' reflective thinking processes in solving mathematical problems in terms of learning styles. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that describes reflective thinking in problem solving in terms of learning styles. This study used eight subjects with two learning styles each. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by means of tests and interviews. The results showed that the subject took complete problem solving steps, meaning that the subject took steps in the reflective thinking process. Reflective thinking process in solving mathematical problems in terms of accommodator learning style has not been carried out properly because it did not carry out the test and information of conclutin stage. Reflective thinking process in solving mathematical problems in terms of diverger learning styles has not been carried out properly because it does not carry out the rational elaboration of an idea and test and information of conclutin stages. Reflective thinking process in solving mathematical problems in terms of assimilator learning style has not been carried out well because it does not carry out the rational elaboration of an idea and test and information of conclutin stages. The process of reflective thinking in solving mathematical problems in terms of converger learning styles is done well. Students with the learning style accommodator are not afraid to try new things. Students with the diverger learning style are individuals who get bored quickly when faced with a slightly complicated problem. Students with the assimilator learning style are individuals who observe and think a lot. Students with the converger learning style are individuals who have good abilities in problem solving and decision making.

Abstract

Learning mathematics is one of the social phenomena that occurs in class, so that the interactions that occur between teachers and students are the main focus in mathematics research. The Vygotskian Semiotic Method divides the class into small groups in the learning process. The teacher as a public figure in the class who is an example, mediates discussions in the learning process. Phenomenon studies are analyzed based on the resulting learning videos. The study was conducted interpretatively based on the two methods developed, namely semiotic nodes and semiotic bundles. Semiotic nodes with synchronic tools to focus on how students give meaning to students' actions in understanding mathematical relationships and structures. Semiotic bundle with diachronic tools for signs or key moments of the student's objectification process in pattern generalization activities.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of a workshop to strengthen the literacy Program Sekolah Penggerak (PSP) of primary school teachers in Sidoarjo. PSP is a government initiative to improve the quality of basic education and teacher participation is crucial to the success of the program. The workshop was designed to provide primary school teachers with an in-depth understanding of PSP concepts, objectives and implementation strategies. The method of organizing the workshop began with observation to determine the needs of the target in order to deepen the concept of literacy, then continued with the implementation of workshop activities which included presentations, group discussions, and practical simulations. Next, a questionnaire was administered to determine the interest, perceptions, attitudes and beliefs of participants towards improving literacy after participating in this activity. The evaluation results showed that the increase in teachers' understanding and involvement in PSP after attending the workshop was very positive. The results of the questionnaire on participants' perceptions of literacy improvement showed that 96% of participants had a positive perception of the workshop activities. The literacy strengthening workshop received a positive response from the participants. During the presentation of the material, participants followed with enthusiasm. This community service activity can improve teachers' understanding of literacy concepts and literacy misconceptions. participants were able to identify the potential and challenges in implementing PSP in their schools and develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of the program. With this workshop, it is hoped that the literacy of the PSP program can be improved, have a positive impact on learning at the primary level, and improve the quality of education in Sidoarjo.
