Abstract

In Indonesia, people with cholesterol reach 28%. Even more surprising, it turns out that 7.9% of people in the world die from diseases that occur as complications of uncontrolled cholesterol levels. The goals  of the activity is to increase the knowledge of the Kelurahan Talang Banjar community about the importance of knowing and understanding cholesterol-related material starting from understanding, causes, signs and symptoms, prevention and treatment measures to control cholesterol levels in the blood. The method of implementing the activity is carried out by approaching the community, sorting data about the cholesterol levels of the participants and analyzing it, providing health education in the form of an explanation about cholesterol starting from the definition, causes, signs and symptoms, precautions and treatment to control cholesterol levels in the blood. Grouping community data according to the condition of cholesterol levels and their age, conveying cholesterol level prevention and control programs, and conducting oral evaluations. The results of the activity are increasing knowledge, optimizing the role of the community, forming a community on standby to prevent and control cholesterol levels. This activity as a whole has been able to make the community better, able to monitor the health of oneself, family and society and able to think critically in acting according to the situation.

Abstract

Gadget are a technology that cannot be released nowadays, including children who use gadget to watch videos, play educational or adventure games. The introduction of gadgets from an early age is very good, because gadget have many benefits that can help humans carry out their activities. However, too early recognition is feared to have an impact on children. This impact can be either a negative impact or a positive impact. The purpose of this study was to describe parents' perceptions of gadget use in children aged 5-6 years. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of this study were 32 respondents with an average senior high school 66% (21 people), parents' understanding of gadget was categorized as good 72% (23%), parents' attitudes towards children in using gadget were categorized as good 78% (25 people), so it can be concluded that parents' perceptions of using gadget are good, meaning that parents understand the positive and negative impacts of using gadget. This research is expected to help parents understand the use of gadgets so that children's growth and development can be monitored optimally

Abstract

Abstrak: Pos Upaya Keselamatan Kerja (Pos UKK) merupakan layanan untuk peningkatan dan pemeliharaan kesehatan bagi pekerja. Permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu: (1) Belum optimalnya pelaksanaan Pos UKK; (2) Belum ada Program Keselamatan Kerja bagi pekerja batik: (3) Edukasi di puskesmas hanya berupa konseling individu; (4) Pendidikan pekerja batik SMP dan SMA sehingga pekerja batik tidak mengetahui gangguan kesehatan akibat membatik; (5) Adanya pekerja batik yang menderita low back pain (LBP); dan (6) Pekerja batik mengatasi nyeri musculoskeletal melaui tukang pijat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader/fasilitator dalam memberikan layanan Pos UKK gangguan muskuloskeltal. Metode yang dilakukan memberikan pelatihan, sosialisasi dan demonstrasi penatalaksanaan fisioterapi Jumlah peserta pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarat ini 13 orang dengan mitra Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman Pelayangan Kota Jambi. Evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner pre test dan post test dengan jumlah 15 pertanyaan dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Hasil yang diperoleh terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kader dan fasilitator yaitu diketahui pengetahuan responden sebelum diberikan pelatihan dengan kategori baik 38.5%,dan pengetahuan kurang 61.5% setelah diberikan pelatihan mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan responden dengan katogori baik 53.8% dan kurang 46,2%.Abstract: The Occupational Safety Effort is a service for improving and maintaining health for workers. The problems found were: (1) The implementation of the Occupational Safety Effort was not yet optimal; (2) There is no Occupational Safety Program for batik workers: (3) Education at the health center only takes the form of individual counseling; (4) Education of middle school and high school so that batik workers are not aware of the health problems caused by batik; (5) There are batik workers who suffer from low back pain (LBP); and (6) Batik workers treat musculoskeletal pain through masseurs. The aim of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of cadres/facilitators in providing Occupational Safety Effort services for musculoskeletal disorders. The method used was to provide training, socialization and demonstration of physiotherapy management. The number of participants in this community service activity was 13 people with partners at the Tahtul Yaman Pelayangan Jambi City. The evaluation was carried out by providing a pre-test and post-test questionnaire with 15 questions and an unstructured interview. The results obtained were an increase in the knowledge of cadres and facilitators and the formation of an innovative the Occupational Safety Effort with musculoskeletal disorders, namely that the knowledge of respondents before being given the training was in the good category, 38.5%, and knowledge was poor, 61.5% after being given the training, there was an increase in the knowledge of respondents in the good category, 53.8% and poor. 46.2%.

Abstract

According to information from the program holder, the Occupational Safety Post at the Tahtul Yaman Community Health Center in Jambi was established in 2021 under the name Kapal Sanggat UKK Post. In 2023, the "Kapal Sanggat" UKK Post Program implemented innovative services focused on batik artisans experiencing musculoskeletal disorders. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the UKK Post for musculoskeletal disorders in batik workers in the Tahtul Yaman Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Jambi City in 2024. This research method was a qualitative descriptive study using in-depth interviews, observation, and document review techniques. The results showed that the Tahtul Yaman Community Health Center had implemented an innovative UKK Post program in its work area, focusing on batik workers experiencing musculoskeletal disorders. Activities that had been carried out included counseling about the UKK Post and health checks, but these were not yet routinely conducted. Curative and rehabilitative activities only included elderly gymnastics and stretching exercises. It is recommended that the Community Health Center provide regular guidance, monitoring, and evaluation of the implementation of activities at the Kapal Sanggat UKK Post, conduct training for health workers and cadres, and provide supporting facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

Community empowerment in informal worker groups is work safety Post,which is a preventive measure to protect workers so they live healthy lives and are free from health problems and bad influences caused by work. Based on information from occupational health program holders at the  Tahtul Yaman Public health center, in 2020 the “Kapal Sanggat” work safety Post was formed, but the form of activity is only general in nature and carried out based on patient needs. In 2023, the Kapal Sanggat work safety already implemented innovation in the form of services for musculoskeletal disorders for batik workers. This community service aims to optimize Health Business Post services, increase cadres' knowledge about the health of batik workers. Problem solving solutions in this activity are realized by efforts to increase knowledge and understanding of the roles and functions of cadres. Method The activity was carried out by promoting health using counseling techniques and creating health promotion media in the form of leaflets and videos involving Health Business Post cadres. The instruments used were pre-test and post-test sheets. Then analyzed using frequency distribution for pre-test and post-test scores. The output target produced in this community service activity is the publication of an accredited journal. The results achieved were the implementation of the Health Business Post service and increased knowledge of cadres in implementing the "Kapal Sanggat" Health Business Post service

Abstract

Complaints batik is a worker who has a limited work space with a static work position for a certain time. Inappropriate and non-ergonomic work positions that are repeated in long periods of [i]confinement can result in work-related illnesses such as low back. As many as 100% of cases of back pain not caused by organic abnormalities, but by mistakes in body position in work. The purpose of this research is to know the factors related to low back pain with age, length of work, work period, work position and nutritional status in the complaints batik.The type of research is observational analytic with cross sectional study design. The population is a permanent employee carrier with a total of 30 people and sampling techniques using exhaustive sampling. The low back pain event was supplemented by the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) questionnaire, the work position measured by Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and nutritional status was measured by Microtoice and Weighing Scales..The results showed that as many as 63% of complaints batik low back pain events. Cross tabulation results show that there is correlation between low back pain with age (pvalue = pvalue=0.029<0.05), length of work (pvalue=0.028<0.05), working period (pvalue=0.029<0.05), whereas no correlation working position (pvalue= (pvalue=0.781 >0.05) and nutritional status (pvalue = 0.089 <0.05).Based on the above results, it is advisable for the operator to minimize non- stop work, stretching interrupted at work time and resting time utilization
