Abstract

The aim of this learning improvement action research is to (1) Improve the activities and learning outcomes of natural science material adapting to plants using a contextual approach for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Gombang for the 2020/2021 academic year. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and is carried out through four stages, namely the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subjects of this research were 17 class V students at SD Negeri 2 Gombang for the 2020/2021 academic year. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses data source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this research show that applying a contextual approach can improve activities and learning outcomes for students at SD Negeri 2 Gombang for the 2020/2021 academic year. The more actively students participate in the learning process, the higher the grades obtained. In the pre-cycle, the average student score was 61.18 with 35.29% completeness. After implementing the action, cycle I showed an increase in students' activities and learning outcomes, namely the average student score rose to 72.35 with a completeness of 64.71%. In cycle II, the students' average score for understanding the concept of the material peaked to 81.18 with a completeness of 82.35%.

Abstract

After the implementation of the action, cycle I showed an increase in student activity and learning outcomes, namely the average student score rose to 72.35 with a completeness of 64.71%. In cycle II, there was an increase in the average value of students' understanding of the concept of material peaking at 81.18 with a completeness of 82.35%.

Abstract

The cutting tools used today are very traditional using a blade without a base. The Appropriate Technology recommended to the public is in the form of a meatball cutting tool to reduce work accidents such as cut hands. The purpose of carrying out this activity is to apply cutting tools using the right technology and increase knowledge about anticipating accidents while working. The methods used with partners are observation, interviews and outreach. Based on the results of interviews and joint discussions with UMKM actors, they really need cutting tools that can speed up the production process and provide safety to UMKM partners for workers. The conclusion from the effort to implement this meatball cutting tool is still the 75% expected by UMKM partners because the standard meatball size tool is too thin and for safety in terms of cutting tools this gets a percentage of 100% because with this tool there is little chance of a small cut.

Abstract

Naval base as one of the integral components of the SSAT is the spearhead of power in carrying out support for the tasks of the operating units both in peacetime and during war. In carrying out its duties the Navy has an Integrated Fleet Weapon System (SSAT) which is the integration of strength of the capabilities of the KRI, Aircraft, Marines and Naval base components. To find out the professional level of the soldier, it is necessary to hold a Test of Combat Naval Base Task Force in order to realize, maintain and improve the skills of both individuals and groups, which in turn will increase the establishment of Operational Command and Control, Operational Procedures and the establishment of mastery of appropriate techniques and tactics. With the implementation of the test, it is expected to know about Naval Base Combat Readiness, a condition where the base can carry out its main tasks.Combat Duty Rehearsal is an exercise carried out by KRI or base to maintain the ability and professionalism of soldiers both programmed and programmed. This study aims to determine whether the relationship of human resource readiness influences the professional abilities of the Naval Base on west coast of Sumatera.
