Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) within Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) represents a transformative opportunity for smart manufacturing in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach, with insights from five informants, to explore the current state, challenges, opportunities, and strategic recommendations for CPS adoption. Findings reveal that while CPS adoption is in its early stages, it has significant potential to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and global competitiveness. Challenges such as limited infrastructure, skill gaps, and cybersecurity concerns are prevalent. However, opportunities exist in leveraging government initiatives, fostering local innovation, and promoting sustainability. Strategic recommendations include enhancing digital infrastructure, providing financial incentives, upskilling the workforce, and establishing clear regulatory frameworks. These insights contribute to advancing Indonesia's Industry 4.0 agenda and offer a roadmap for stakeholders to navigate CPS integration effectively.

Abstract

A manual door security system that has many shortcomings including difficulty opening locks when used, easily broken and keys that tend to be duplicated thereby reducing convenience and security. To prevent this, a good and easy-to-use room security system is needed. At this time began to develop an electronic room safety system using RFID technology (Radio-Frequency Identification) to improve the security system at the door of the house. In this study discusses the design and prototype of an automatic room door lock using an RFID system. The research method used is research and development. This Automatic Door is programmed by the Arduino application by creating a security system using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as a radio wave of data carrier frequencies that will be received by the receiver. The results of this study are the creation of an automatic home door security system using RFID which has a better level of security compared to manual security, so that it can cope with acts of theft in homes that are often abandoned by residents. In addition, the use of RFID can also minimize the overall lock on the house, so that every family member needs only one tag card / key to open all the locks on the door in the house.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid expansion of cloud computing adoption in Indonesia has significantly increased organizational exposure to cyber threats, making cybersecurity resilience a critical strategic priority. This study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based threat intelligence in enhancing cybersecurity resilience within Indonesian cloud infrastructure. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 155 respondents consisting of IT managers, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity practitioners through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicate that AI-based threat intelligence has a significant positive effect on threat detection accuracy and response effectiveness. Both threat detection accuracy and response effectiveness also have significant positive effects on cybersecurity resilience. Furthermore, AI-based threat intelligence directly strengthens cybersecurity resilience and indirectly enhances it through the mediation of threat detection accuracy and response effectiveness. These findings confirm that AI-driven cybersecurity systems play a strategic role in improving adaptive defense capabilities, accelerating incident response, and strengthening organizational resilience in cloud environments. This study provides important implications for policymakers, cloud service providers, and organizations in designing intelligent cybersecurity frameworks to support Indonesia’s sustainable digital transformation.
