Abstract

The purpose of research (1) Investigate the effect of guided Inquiry learning toward student learning result (2) Investigate the effect scientific performance to the student learning result (3) Investigate the interaction the guided Inquiry model and learning scientific performance toward the student learning result in sistem Excretion material. The research subjeck were 60 student of XI IPA 1 and 2 of SMAN 10 Pandeglang. Taken by simple random sampling. The data were analyzed by two tailed ANOVA test. Before the hypothesis was tested, normality and homogeneity test were done, the method that used in this research is quasi experiment with 2 x 2 factorial design. Based on the analyzed data, the highest score of the student learning result in experiment and control group were 90 and 85 with the means were 82 and 72. It can be concluded that: (1) there is significant influence of guided Inquiry learning the student learning result (2) there is significant influence of scientific performance to the student learning result (3) there is an interaction between guided Inquiry learning model and scientific performance toward the student learning result in Excretion system material. Based on the conclusions, it is suggested that the teacher’s ability is encouraged to dig deeper the student’s potential and performance. Abstract

Student center learning leads to changing teacher roles. This resulted in a shift in the role of teachers. Learners are required to have HOTS (High Order Thinking Skill), one of the capabilities including HOTS is critical thinking ability. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of learning model of Reciprocal Teaching (RT) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) to critical thinking ability of high school students on reproduction system material. The method used in this research is quasi experiment with Post-Test Only Control Group Design. After obtained the results of the calculation of ANOVA test one way and critical data, then obtained significance value less than 0.05 is 0.001 <0.05 then rejected H0, meaning there is a difference in the average ability of critical thinking learners. The difference of students' critical thinking ability between the RT experimental class and the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) control class proves that there is an influence of the RT learning model on critical thinking skills. The involvement of learners in PBL learning can help in developing critical thinking skills, because PBL involves the ability of learners to search and investigate logically, critically and analytically so that they can formulate their own problem solving. Based on the results of research and hypothesis testing it can be concluded that there is the influence of learning Reciprocal Teaching (RT) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the critical thinking skills of high school students on the material reproduction system.

Abstract

Many people, including academics do not consider the theory of evolution as a valid scientific theory so that the rejection of the theory of evolution emerges. The preference of Biology teacher for teaching evolution in the classroom is determined by the acceptance of such controversial topic. Indonesia as a Muslim-majority nation has implemented four core competencies (religious, social, knowledge, and skill) to be achieved by students in each lesson. Biology Education students who understand the theory of evolution in the future is expected to not avoid teaching evolution by excuse that evolution contradicts religious tenet. This study aimed to determine the correlation of evolutionary theory understanding and religiosity with evolutionary theory acceptance in Biology Education students who believe in Islam. Research conducted at State University of Jakarta in September-December 2018. The method used was a correlational survey. Data were analyzed using multiple correlation coefficient significance test. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation of evolutionary theory understanding and religiosity with evolutionary theory acceptance. Therefore, evolution course taken by Biology Education students was needed to aware of clear understanding about evolutionary theory. In addition, educators need wide insight to not consider religiosity and evolutionary acceptance were in opposite.AbstrakBanyak orang termasuk akademisi tidak menganggap teori evolusi sebagai teori ilmiah yang valid sehingga timbul penolakan terhadap teori evolusi. Adapun kecenderungan guru Biologi untuk mengajarkan materi evolusi dalam kelas ditentukan oleh penerimaan terhadap materi kontroversial tersebut. Indonesia sebagai negara mayoritas Muslim menerapkan empat kompetensi inti (religius, sosial, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan) untuk dicapai siswa dalam tiap materi pembelajaran. Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi yang memahami teori evolusi di kemudian hari diharapkan tidak menghindar dalam mengajarkan evolusi dengan dalih evolusi kontradiksi terhadap ajaran agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemahaman teori evolusi dan tingkat religiositas dengan penerimaan teori evolusi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi yang beragama Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei korelasional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada September-Desember 2018. Data dianalisis dengan uji signifikansi koefisien korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara pemahaman teori evolusi dan tingkat religiositas dengan penerimaan teori evolusi. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran evolusi terhadap mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi perlu memperhatikan pemahaman mendalam tentang teori evolusi. Di samping itu, pengajar perlu berwawasan luas agar tidak menganggap religiositas dan penerimaan teori evolusi bertolak belakang.

Abstract

PBL adalah pembelajaran yang menggunakan masalah dunia nyata sebagai konteks pembelajaran, sementara E-Learning adalah kegiatan pembelajaran yang memungkinkanya tercapai bahan ajar ke peserta didik dengan menggunakan media internet, salah satunya dengan social media LINE. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh PBL menggunakan social media E-Learning terhadap hasil belajar Sistem Pencernaan. Penelitian dilakukan pada November 2018 di SMPIT Asy-syukriyyah, Tangerang, dimana dua kelompok masing-masing memiliki sampel 25 peserta didik yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Rancangan perlakuan adalah  non-equivalent control group design. Hasil uji prasyarat menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis mendapatkan thitung sebesar 2.57 yang lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 2.44, maka Ho ditolak yang berarti terdapat pengaruh PBL menggunakan social media E-Learning terhadap hasil belajar Sistem Pencernaan. Hasil terlihat pada selisih rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih besar 7.88.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh PBL menggunakan  social media E-Learning terhadap hasil belajar Sistem Pencernaan peserta didik SMP.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Proenvironmental behavior is a behavior that seeks to minimize the negative impact on the environment which is influenced by several factors, one of which is motivation. This study aims to analyze the direct effect of motivation on proenvironmental behavior. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a causal survey method and analyzed using path analysis. The number of samples used as respondents is 200 students of class XI MIA SMAN 1 Tangerang Regency. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis it can be concluded that there is a positive direct effect of personality on proenvironmental behavior with a path analysis coefficient of 0.159. There is a positive direct effect of motivation on proenvironmental behavior with a path coefficient of 0.486. Keywords: Motivation, Pro Environment Behavior, Path Analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara locus of control dan personal responsibility dengan intention to act pada siswa XI MIPA di SMAN 8 Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. Siswa yang berpartisipasi berjumlah 120 orang. Berdasarkan pada analisis data, mengetahui koefisien korelasi antara X1 dan Y, X2 dan Y dan X1 dan X2 dengan Y. Koefisien korelasi antara locus of control dan intention to act adalah 0,309. Koefisien korelasi antara personal responsibility dan intention to act adalah 0,202. Koefisien korelasi antara locus of control dan personal responsibility dan intention to act adalah 0,357

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning model that encourages students to solve problems. At the same time, intrapersonal intelligence is a skill needed by students in solving problems so that students can solve problems well. This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and intrapersonal intelligence on high school students' problem-solving skills. The method used was an experiment with a quasi-experimental research type and a 2x2 factorial design—multistage random sampling sample selection technique. All students of class IX reach the population at SMAN 1 Baros. The target population for all class IX of SMAN 1 Baros is 130 students. The research sample consisted of 2 classes IX for the experimental class and two classes IX for the Control class, each of which totaled 65 students. The instrument for the ability to solve problems in the form of description questions consists of 11 items and intrapersonal intelligence in a questionnaire totaling 25 statements. Data analysis and hypothesis testing using two-way ANOVA with the help of the SPSS 21.0 software program. The results showed that the PBL model and intrapersonal intelligence significantly affected problem-solving skills with a sig < 0.05. The data analysis conclusion shows that there is an influence of the PBL model and the intrapersonal intelligence of high school students on the material of the human reproductive system.

Abstract

The development of learning in the 21st century, requires students to have the competency that can support in the development of the times. competency is one of them is the ability to think critically. Students must have this competency in order to solve problems faced such as environmental pollution problems. The problem of environmental pollution is one part of biology, by collaborating SQ3R model that has advantages for cooperation between students and students enggagment. is expected to contribute greatly to students able to solve problems. Quasi Research This experiment uses two way anova design (2x2 factorial). This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tambun Utara in May-June 2017. The result data showed normal and homogeneous values (p> 0.05) with 140 samples. Result of research using two way anova test got data that p value = 0.000, mean p <0.05 (reject H0). The conclusion is that (1) there is influence of SQ3R model to learning outcomes, (2) there is influence of critical thinking to learning result, and (3) there is interaction between SQ3R and critical thinking to result of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking skills, analyze the magnitude of the influence of the inquiry learning model based on education levels, namely SMP and SMA and analyze the magnitude of the effect of using the inquiry learning model based on grade level, namely VII, VIII, X and XI. Fourth, analyze the influence of the use of the inquiry learning model based on the topics of Biology and Science learning materials being taught, namely the Excretory System, Volcanoes, Digestive Systems, Cells, Ecosystems, Circulatory Systems and Environmental Pollution. The method used is meta-analysis, which analyzes 10 articles within a period of 3 years from previous research. The technique used is a meta-analysis technique with descriptive analysis method by analyzing several articles of accredited national journals. Research data collection is done by searching for articles with the help of Google Scholar. The effect size value is obtained from the research that has been done. The effect size related to the whole article regarding the effect of the inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking skills in biology subjects is 1.45 with a very high category. The effect size based on education level is 1.49 for junior high school level and 1.40 for high school level. Effect size based on grade level is 1.65 for class VIII SMP and 1.63 for class XI SMA. The effect size based on the topic of the subject matter is 2.93 on the excretory system material. The conclusion of the study is that the inquiry learning model influences students' critical thinking skills in biology subjects.
