Abstract

Perubahan ukuran lift pada cam lobe dipelajari untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap nilai efisiensi volumetris dan performa pada mesin Otto empat langkah satu silinder berkapasitas 150 cc. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan cam standar sebesar 7,36 mm dengan cam yang memiliki lift lebih tinggi, yaitu 8,24 mm dan 8,53 mm. Pengujian dilakukan dengan software ANSYS untuk mendapatkan efisiensi volumetris, sedangkan performa diukur menggunakan dinamometer. Dari perhitungan dan pengujian, kedua cam modifikasi yang digunakan berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi volumetris dan performa dari mesin. Cam dengan lift 8,53 mm meningkatkan efisiensi volumetris dari 78,51% menjadi 84,1% dan performa dari 15,36 WHP ke 15,76 WHP pada 9000 rpm jika dibandingkan dengan cam standar.

Abstract

Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi (KMHE) merupakan kompetisi nasional yang diselenggarakan setiap tahun untuk menguji kemampuan merancang dan mengompetisikan kendaraan yang ramah lingkungan. Sejak tahun 2017, Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya secara rutin mengikuti kompetisi ini melalui Workshop Mesin UNIKA Atma Jaya (WSM) pada kategori Urban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain bodi yang aerodinamis dengan target nilai koefisien gaya hambat lebih rendah dari 0,35 (CD  0,35). Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan simulasi CFD pada software ANSYS v17.2. Perancangan bodi dimulai dengan membuat desain base model untuk menyesuaikan dengan regulasi KMHE 2019 serta sasis dan komponen kelistrikan yang baru. Modifikasi desain base model dilakukan untuk mencapai target nilai CD. Modifikasi yang dilakukan berupa penambahan spoiler, membuat coakan pada bagian bawah di sisi belakang kendaraan dan memperhalus sudut tajam pada desain bodi. Modifikasi tersebut menghasilkan desain bodi dengan nilai CD rata-rata sebesar 0,295183 yang akan digunakan oleh tim WSM untuk menghadapi KMHE 2021.

Abstract

Human activity requires a tool that is designed or specifically designed to help work to be easier, safer and more comfortable, the right design can be obtained by applying anthropometry. Workers often experience complaints of pain in some parts of the body because work facilities are not ergonomic. The research objective is to obtain an ergonomic design of work facilities in accordance with anthropometry. Data collection is done by interviews, distributing questionnaires and taking data on the object of research. The results of data collection were tested for uniformity, adequacy, and normality, as well as calculating percentiles that were considered to represent the measured data. SNQ results indicate that workers are in the very painful category in the right upper arm, waist, right ankle, left ankle, left knee, right knee, left calf, right calf, left foot and right foot, which shows the working posture at the cutting station not ergonomic. The assessment of the level of work posture using the REBA method shows a high risk level of 7-9 meaning that workers need immediate improvement in the near future. The average workload with the 42% CVL method is in the category of improvement needed. The proposed work facility design is based on anthropometric principles, namely a work desk measuring 171.75 cm x 78.5 cm x 70.45 cm, a work chair 46.99cm x 31.67 cm x 45.25 cm, a storage box of 50 cm length and width 55 cm and trolley 76.58 cm x 60 cm x 77.07 cm.

Abstract

Net Visi Media Tbk adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang usaha industri media. Lini usahanya meliputi bidang penyiaran televisi, produksi konten, manajemen artis, dan media digital. Melalui anak perusahaannya NET Mediatama Televisi, Net menyajikan tayangan hiburan layar kaca lewat konten yang positif dan menginspirasi. Dalam dunia pertelevisian, iklan adalah sumber utama pendapatan perusahaan. Tanpa adanya iklan, perusahaan tidak akan memiliki pemasukan yang cukup untuk proses produksi konten program televisi. Terkadang iklan mendapat revisi dari klien, bisa isi konten iklan yang berubah maupun posisi dari iklan tersebut pada suatu program televisi. Komunikasi yang dipergunakan selama ini hanya melalui layanan perpesanan instan, hal ini dirasa kurang efisien bagi penulis, karena klien tidak bisa melihat langsung secara real time posisi iklan tersebut dan rawan miskomunikasi. Maka dari itu, diperlukan inovasi untuk proses monitoring iklan secara real time dan bisa diakses dari mana saja, sehingga mengurangi resiko miskomunikasi antara perusahaan dan klien. Penulis memilih sistem informasi monitoring iklan berbasis web karena dengan kemajuan teknologi dan internet, penulis rasa sangat mudah mengakses sebuah web dari device apapun. Sistem informasi monitoring berbasis web ini dirancang menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman PHP sebagai script server-side dan CSS sebagai interface web.

Abstract

One of the factors that can affect the level of production achievement is the availability factor of the mechanical unit used. Theoretically, if the level of availability of a mechanical unit is high, then of course the level of production achievement that can be produced will also be high. However, an statistical analysis was necessary to determine how far this availability factor is in influencing the existing production level. The values of mechanical and physical availability are the example of availability factors which is use generally to evaluate how good is a mechanical unit in conducting its production activities. In this research, the samples were 3 units of loader and 14 units of hauler with the 10 days of data collecting range. From the results of the research conducted, the values of mechanical and physical availability had a strong correlation rate on the production achievement rate of loader unit with the simultaneous influence percentage of 59.49%, but partially it was not significantly influential. The regression similarity of the mechanical and physical availability value influence on the production achievement rate of loader units was Y=-28,6707-1.247,8038 X₁+3.328,7897X₂. Then, for the analysis results of the mechanical and physical availability influential values on the production achievement rate of hauler units, it obtained that mechanical and physical availability had a strong correlation rate on the production achievement rate of hauler units with the simultaneous influence percentage of 85.54% and partially, the mechanical and physical availability values were significantly influential on the production achievement rate of hauler units. The regression similarity of the mechanical and physical availability value influence on the production achievement rate of hauler units was Y=113,8621+12.742,1041X₁-9.359,3209X₂.

Abstract

One of the biggest needs in mining activities is mechanical equipment to achieve production target which needs fuel. A mechanical tool is declared successful if it is able to meet the production target by using a minimum of fuel consumption. The excessive use of fuel will affect the company's profits. The ratio between total fuel consumption and total production is called the fuel ratio. A company is successful or gains profit if the plan fuel ratio is higher that the actual fuel ratio. The aim of this research was to analyze the comparison between plan and actual fuel ratio on Kobelco SK 520, Kobelco SK 330 excavators and Hino FM 260 JD Dump Truck. This analysis process was conducted by knowing the production target and realization of the overburden and coal getting production target. In March 2022, the production of SK 520 was 43,147.97 BCWmonth, DT 8-193 10,328.07 BCM/month, SK 330 was 41,981.76 tonnes/month, DT 8-138was 8,169.43 tonnes/month. In April 2022, the production of SK 520 was 50,188.03 BCM/month, DT 8-193 was 8,750.25 BCWmonth, SK 330 was 38,555.66 tonnes/month, DT 8-138 was 8,432.83 tonnes/month. The fuel ratio in March were SK 520 of 0.19 litre/BCM, DT 8-193 of 0.27 litrefBCM, SK 330 of 0.17 litre/ton and DT 8-138 of 0.23 litre/ton. The fuel ratio in April 2022 were SK 520 ofO. 19 litre/BCM, DT 8-193 ofO.29 litre/BCM, SK 330 of0.18 liter/ton, and DT 8-138 of 0.21 litre/ton. The loss of fuel ratio in March 2022 on the overburden removal was SK 520 of Rp 22,652,684 and DT 8-193 of Rp the coal getting activity on SK 330 was Rp 36,734,040 and DT 8-138 of Rp In April 2022, the loss on the overburden removal on SK 520 was Rp 35,733,877.36 and on DT 8-193 was Rp 7,787,723, and the coal getting on SK 330 was Rp 27,451,630 and DT 8-138 was Rp 6,004,175.

Abstract

In the era of global competition, the quality of products owned by companies needs to be evaluated because of an increase in consumer awareness of the quality of products produced by companies. Currently, the ISO 9001:2015 standard has been used by many organizations ranging from small, medium to large all over the world. Several empirical literature studies that have been carried out explain the importance of quality management standards in optimizing continuous improvement of the company's operational performance, where the aim is to meet the needs and expectations of customers in the market. Although the ISO 9001: 2015 standard is useful for companies, there is no agreement between practitioners and scholars whether the ISO 9001: 2015 standard makes it possible to improve the company's operational performance. Therefore, this research is aimed at reviewing and testing a hypothesis, namely the relationship between ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and different perspectives on company operational performance in order to find out the role of ISO 9001:2015 standards in increasing a company's operational performance. This research was conducted in order to be able to identify and observe empirical literature studies that are relevant to the present. The results of the empirical studies that have been conducted found that ISO 9001:2015 has a significant influence on internal business processes, has a positive correlation with indicators of innovation and learning at a significant level and ISO 9001:2015 standards are recommended so that they can be used in improving the company's operational performance.

Abstract

Excavator adalah sebuah jenis alat berat yang terdiri dari mesin di atas roda khusus yang dilengkapi dengan lengan (arm) dan alat pengeruk (bucket) yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan berat berupa penggalian tanah yang tidak bisa dilakukan secara langsung oleh tangan manusia. Salah satu fungsi utama dari komponen eksavator yang bernama Boom atau stick adalah sebagai tuas utama untuk menggerakan ke atas atau ke bawah Arm. Karena posisinya yang sangat vital, maka pada boom akan terjadi gaya yang sangat besar terutama pada sambungan las dan bagian lain seperti bracket mounting (pegangan) silinder hidrolik.

Abstract

Agar tetap kompetitif, para pelaku industri manufaktur senantiasa berusaha agar proses produksinya tetap kompetitif dan berusaha mencari metode untuk meningkatkan kualitas, efisiensi dan produktivitas melalui perawatan berkala terhadap mesin-mesin produksi yang dimiliki. Mesin-mesin yang beroperasi 24 jam/hari memiliki kemungkinan mengalami kerusakan mesin (breakdown). Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses mixing, dengan tujuan mencegah breakdown mesin sehingga proses mixing dapat terus berjalan sesuai target. Data studi kasus menunujukkan persentase rata-rata breakdown tertinggi terjadi pada mesin proses mixing sebesar 7,23%. Perhitungan Availibility, Performance dan Quality (APQ) dilakukan untuk dapat mengkalkulasi nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Kemudian dilakukan pendekatan Six Big Losses untuk mengetahui penyebab-penyebab utama ketidaksesuaian. Perhitungan dengan pendekatan Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) dan Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) dilakukan. Berdasarkan pendekatan-pendekatan tersebut, usulan-usulan perbaikan dan preventive maintenance guna meningkatkan usia mesin direkomendasikan.

Abstract

The planning of the substructure of the building cannot be separated from the process of soil investigation to determine the bearing capacity of the soil to be supported by the building. The location of the mining area, especially in Central Kalimantan, is dominated by a layer of sand, so it is necessary to investigate the soil first to obtain the depth of the soil layer in the form of very dense sand with a qc of 155 – 250 kg/cm2. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the soil layer and the carrying capacity of the soil in the construction area of the KM 25 Workshop. The method used in this study was a literature study method and in-situ testing. Based on the test results from 6 test points, it was found that the soil layer at the research site was dominated by a layer of sand with a surface layer at a depth of 0.20 – 1.60 meters in the form of cohesive soil of very soft to soft consistency. Hard soil layers were found from 7.00 – 8.20 meters depth with a qc of 155 – 250 kg/cm2. Keywords: Sondir Test, Soil Bearing Capacity, Substructure, Dutch Cone Penetrometer Test
