Studies published from 2010 to 2020 are considered for inclusion in this review and using Indonesian and English. Assessment of study quality is carried out in accordance with JBI's critical appraisal and grade recommendation analysis based on EBM. There were 6 articles that matched the criteria, one was a systematic review and the other five had an RCT research design. The results of this review suggest that the most article highlighted psychological symptoms burden. The intervention used to reduce the symptoms burden range from actions that provide a relaxing effect such as reflexology massage, progressive muscle relaxation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy. And there are interventions that focus on developing self-management in handling symptoms such as guided self-determination, psychoeducation and leadership and coaching for health. Thus, nursing care is recommended to be able to make these various intervention happen consistently and developed according to patient needs.

Pencarian artikel menggunakan databases: Google Scholar dan PubMed,  dengan kata kunci Quality of Life AND Cervical Cancer. Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a disease characterized by mood or emotional, bodily, and behavioral symptoms of reproductive women that increase in the menstrual cycle during the luteal phase and disappear within a few days after menstruation. Approximately 50% - 80% of reproductive women suffer from PMS (approximately 3% to 8%) can cause severe mood swings, which interfere with their lifestyle and quality of life. Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) is an effective way to achieve a balance between the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system so  reducing the impact of stress on the body. This study aim to evaluate effectivity of progressive muscle relaxation by mobile health to premenstrual syndrome in adolescent. A quantitative study using a Quasy-experimental with two Group Pre-Posttest design. Samples are 52 adolescents have experience PMS, have reguler menstrual cycle, are able to communicate well, can read and write, have cellphones/other communication tools, and willing be a respondent. Instruments using PSST for Screening of PMS and DRSP for evaluate PMS at experimental and control groups. Experimental Group given PMR by mobile health during 10 days. Bivariat analysis using Mann-Whitney test. The result of study found that grade of PMS at pretest was 15% mild, 38,5% Moderate and Severe among 48,5%. The Mann-Whitney value showed that there was a significant difference found between experimental and control group at level of p <0,001. This is reveals that there was a significant decrease to premenstrual syndrome in the experimental group after PMR. This study showed that there is a strong need for further reproductive health education. So there should be a regular service and health education programme on premenstrual syndrome and  progressive muscle relaxation or exercises at all hospitals or clinic and nurses or another caregivers have an important role to do it.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Sleep quality is an important yet understudied element influencing postoperative recovery in intensive care units. Considering that there is a lack of consistent knowledge of the quality of sleep, it is difficult to establish appropriate tests and therapies. Objective: To do a conceptual analysis of sleep quality in postoperative intensive care units patients utilizing the Walker and Avant framework, delineating its qualities, antecedents, consequences, and empirical referents. Methods: This study used the Walker and Avant eight-step process for idea analysis, which included a systematic literature evaluation of papers published between 2020 and 2024 in databases such as PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest. Data was evaluated to determine important defining qualities, causes, outcomes, and measurable indicators of sleep quality. Results: The analysis identified four defining attributes of sleep quality: sleep architecture, sleep disturbances, subjective experience, and physiological indicators. Antecedents included environmental noise, lighting, pain, anxiety, and frequent medical interventions. Poor sleep quality was associated with adverse outcomes such as increased delirium risk, delayed wound healing, and prolonged intensive care units      stays. Empirical referents included patient-reported tools like the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, polysomnography, and actigraphy. Conclusion: Sleep quality is a multidimensional concept central to postoperative care in intensive care unit. Addressing environmental and psychological factors through targeted interventions can improve sleep quality and enhance recovery outcomes.
