Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of BAZNAS and Pesantren-Based College on education empowerment in STIBA Ar Raayah for students receiving BAZNAS scholarship assistance. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with descriptive statistical data analysis techniques SPSS 24.0 for Windows to measure the path of analysis path (causal relationship) between the independent variables (the role of empowerment and pesantren-based universities) to the dependent variable (education empowerment). The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique, which makes all the population respondents that as many as 37 recipients of BAZNAS scholarship assistance from alums and those who still belonged as STIBA Ar Raayah students who have filled out a questionnaire through the Google form. The results showed that BAZNAS had a significant role in the Empowerment of Education based on the results of the ANOVA analysis, which was indicated by a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. At the same time, Pesantren-Based University, or in this case, STIBA Ar Raayah, had not played a significant role in the students receiving BAZNAS scholarship assistance, which was marked with a significance value of 0.235 > 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the development of research topics related to the performance of the BAZNAS mustahik empowerment program in the last 5 years. The research method used is a qualitative method with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using the VOSviewer application on journal papers indexed by Scopus and Google Scholar and published from 2019-2024. The results showed that research interest in BAZNAS empowerment programs has increased over the past 5 years. BAZNAS, in terms of institutions, has a very good performance in carrying out mustahik economic empowerment programs through business capital assistance and not only providing guidance in terms of material but also the spiritual side by running mosque-based programs and collaborating with da'i and Islamic universities as evidenced by the condition of mustahik who have begun to turn into muktafi and munfiq which shows that in Islam there is the concept of abundance, there is a sense of wanting to share despite limitations. However, the obstacles come from the mustahik themselves because their low level of education affects their mindset to change for the better, in addition to the limited human resources of assistants who have not been able to maximize training and coaching.

Abstract

This study examines the law of productive zakat and its implementation in the mentor empowerment program for the formation of entrepreneurial character and empowerment of mustahiq. This study uses a library method with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis that examines various opinions and sources of law on productive zakat. The study's results indicate differences of opinion among scholars regarding the permissibility of productive zakat. One group argues it is forbidden based on the premise of direct distribution and ownership of zakat funds by mustahiq. Another group allows productive zakat because of its greater benefits and impacts. The third view, namely moderate, allows productive zakat after the urgent needs of mustahiq are met. This study is more inclined towards this third view because it is considered the most appropriate to the current era and needs. The implementation of productive zakat is analyzed through the instruments of mudharabah, murabahah, and qardhul hasan. Mentoring is considered beneficial for business growth and mustahiq welfare. This study provides insight for zakat institutions to improve empowerment strategies and strengthen productive zakat policies.

Abstract

Islam is very concerned about all aspects of the lives of its adherents including the problem of buying and selling, especially the development of technology today makes transactions between sellers and buyers do not have to meet directly and products do not have to be delivered at that time. The purpose of the research is to find out how the concept of buying and selling in Islam and its implementation in the marketplace. This research uses a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, which describes and summarizes various variables and their situations and conditions. The results showed that the concept of buying and selling in Islam is based on the rules in fiqh muamalah that the original law of a muamalah activity is al-ibahah (permissible) as long as there is no evidence that prohibits it. The implementation of the concept of buying and selling in Islam in the marketplace based on the description of the marketplace transaction scheme in general, there are no transaction problems in it for both sellers and consumers, because it only acts as an online market that brings together a group of sellers and buyers.
