Abstract

Abstract

Climate change has consequences and influences on agricultural productivity, especially in tropical areas such as Indonesia. Agricultural produce contributes to the level of Gross Domestic Product. Climate change is a challenge for the environment that has the most extensive impact on the economic, natural resources, and agricultural sectors, even as a concern for climate change on agricultural production. So it is needed to discuss climate change which has an impact on various sectors, especially the economic sector. This research was carried out during 2016-2018 using all provinces in Indonesia. This study uses panel data regression method, and the chosen model is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) by displaying the effects of each region. The results of this study show that R-squared value is  0.990095 which means that 99% of independent variables collectively determine the value of GDP. Meanwhile, changes in temperature, increased rainfall, and increased air quality index partially have no effect on GDP. Only the extent of agricultural land area partially has a positive effect on GDP.

Public schools that implement a boarding system have a unique and special character. It is different from Islamic education which has been firmly embedded in schools that have been based on pesantren since the beginning. This research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that internalization of Islamic characters through subjects in the dormitory, such as the study of classical Islamic books (Fiqhu Sunnah, Aqidatul Awwan, Bidayatul Mujtahid, etc) and self-development activities in the form of extracurricular and organizational activities. The used methods are the wisdom method, exemplary method, habitual method, mauidzah method, and the reward and punishment method. Unlike pesantren culture which is closely tied to the figure of the kyai, the dormitory-based State Islamic schools tend to be weak in terms of the initiative and charisma of the kyai who the leaders are. Individually, kyai figures in boarding-based public boarding schools do not have as strong a role as those in pesantren. However, the ustad and coach figures play a collective and joint role in building students' Islamic character. Keywords: Islamic Character, Madrasah Aliyah, Boarding System, Public Schools

Abstract

This study aims to map the career interests of Islamic economic law students after graduating from college. Sharia economic law is a unique study program because it combines several major scientific competencies, namely law, economics, and sharia science. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research by distributing questionnaires. Data collection methods include filling out questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. This study indicates that 74% of the samples taken choose to work directly rather than continue their master's studies (S2). The biggest factor influencing career choice is own desire (74%). The first priority that is most in-demand are Islamic financial institutions with 23%, the selected jobs that are the second priority that is most in demand are in non-bank companies 38%. Meanwhile, students who want to continue their studies after graduation tend to choose masters with the same major, namely the master of sharia economic law (16%). The implementation of a law degree for graduates of Islamic Economic Law has a very large advantage for graduates of Islamic Economic Law, but many students choose to work in the field of economics even though the degree obtained is a law degree because there is still a lack of understanding of law compared to law graduates from the law faculty itself. Abstract

This study aims to discuss the potential problem of auction fraud carried out by the @xxx Instagram account in terms of Islamic law and Indonesian law. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, through a normative juridical approach, and is complemented by the results of observations and interviews with sources. The results of this study indicate some indications of fraud. First, the seller creates a fake account and colludes with his friend to make a fake offer. Second, the seller who entrusted the goods to the @xxx Instagram account did not send the goods to the auction winner. Third, the seller of the @xxx Instagram account sells goods by mixing genuine and fake products. It is contrary to Islamic law, which prohibits any intentional fraudulent activity. Of the several acts of fraud committed by the perpetrators, they can be subject to Article 28 of the 2016 ITE Law, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, Law no. 20 of 2016 concerning Brands and Geographical Indications, Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, and Article 16 of Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.

Abstract

Gacha system is a game from Japan. The popularity of mobile games with a freemium (F2P) business model that uses the gacha system as a game monetization tool has become a problem when viewed from the legality of transactions according to Islamic law. Purchases of virtual items in the game are referred to as microtransactions, where players use real money that is spent into virtual items or game currency as a medium of exchange for these items. The freemium strategy has an attraction for players to spend money to explore a game. Gacha is a method to get virtual items in the game, the concept of gacha is very dependent on the probability and rarity of the item. The rarer the item, the player is required to spend more money. In Japan, in 2012, gacha was banned for carrying out a misleading campaign. This study aims to analyze the validity of the microtransaction contract system for purchasing virtual items using the gacha system according to Islam. This research uses the library research method. In collecting research data, the researchers analyzed sources from previous studies related to freemium business strategies, microtransactions and the use of the gacha system, as well as the rules of Islamic law from these various transactions. The results show that transactions using the gacha system contain elements of maysir, taghrir and tadlis. Using the gacha system without doing microtransactions with real money does not fulfil the elements of maysir, taghrir and tadlis. Meanwhile, players who perform microtransactions to buy in-game items directly or without going through gacha are included in the ijarah agreement. Players can also get rewards (sell) in the form of certain items if they grind as a gift from the game developer.
