Abstract

The forest area in Pidie District was decreased by illegal logging, forest conversion, mining and road construction without regard to environmental aspects.This study aims to (1) knewabout local wisdom in Qanun Mukim Lutueng about forest management (2) knew the potential development of community forest in Mukim Lutueng (3) analyzed the community perceptions and behaviours about forest conservation. This study was conducted on 1 October 2015 to 30 April 2016in Mukim Lutueng, Pidie District, Aceh Province. The research method is ethnography with Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The result shown thatLocal wisdom in forest management consist of the law in forest activities management, suggestion and prohibition, and local community of forest management. The potential development of community forest support by civil society organizations (NGOs) with community empowerment and government community institution. Perceptions and behaviours towards qanun implementation and community forest in Mukim Lutueng was strong perceptions and with strong attitudes especially shown by community people in three villages; Mane, Lutueng and Blang Dalam. Meanwhile, the communitypeople of Turue Cut showed the weak level of perceptions and attitudes towards the qanun implementation and community forest in Mukim Lutueng. The community law (qanun) threatened by illegal gold mining activities and illegal logging. Community people need an alternative economythat does not rely on the resources of the forest.

Abstract

TPACK competence of teachers can improve the quality of learning in accordance with the demands and changes. Information on TPACK competencies is needed regarding the ability of teachers to know the professional development of teachers. This study aims to determine the competence criteria of biology teachers in Aceh Province in the components of CK, TK, PK, PCK, TCK, TPK, and TPACK, to find out the significant differences in TPACK competence of biology teachers based on teacher certification and teaching experience. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all Biology teachers at state high schools in Aceh Province, namely civil servants, and non-civil servants, totaling 692 teachers. Sampling using a simple random sampling technique, obtained 232 respondents which is a total of 33.53% of the number of teachers in each district. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire was adapted from Schmidt which consists of 38 items and has gone through face validity. Data analysis for the TPACK component is described according to the predicate criteria. The TPACK competence of biology teachers based on certification was analyzed by independent sample t-test, while the TPACK competencies of biology teachers based on teaching experience were analyzed using ANOVA. The results showed that the highest competency criteria for the TPACK component were PK with a score of 83.35% (very good), while the lowest was TK with a score of 76.84% (good). The results also showed that there was no significant difference (p> 0.05) in the TPACK competence of biology teachers based on certification and teaching experience

Abstract

Bintil akar kedelai merupakan tempat fiksasi Nitrogen, senyawa yang diperlukan pada pertumbuhan kedelai. Ampas tebu merupakan sumber sukrosa dan senyawa yang diperlukan dalam pembentukan bintil akar dan pertumbuhan tanaman tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair ampas tebu terhadap perbintilan dan pertumbuhan vegetatif kedelai.Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan pola Rancangan Acak Lengap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Konsentrasi pupuk cair ampas tebu yang digunakan adalah 0 %, 25 %, 50 %, 75 %, dan 100 %. Metode Analisis data yang digunakan adalah sidik ragam ANAVA dengan uji lanjut Duncan. Parameter yang diukur terdiri dari jumlah bintil akar efektif, tinggi batang (cm), jumlah daun (helai), dan berat kering kedelai (gram). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair ampas tebu berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi batang dan jumlah daun pada umur kedelai 21 HST dan 28 HST serta terhadap jumlah bintil akar efektif. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair ampas tebu berpengaruh terhadap kedelai, dan pertumbuhan terbaik kedelai ditemukan pada perlakuan pemberian pupuk organik cair ampas tebu 50%.

Abstract

Ampas tebu merupakan limbah yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik cair. Efektifitas pupuk cair tersebut pada pertumbuhan generatif kedelai belum diketahui. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas pupuk cair ampas tebu terhadap pertumbuhan generatif kedelai. Metode penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, terdiri dari P0 (kontrol), P1 (25% pupuk cair ampas tebu), P2 (50% pupuk cair ampas tebu), P3 (75% pupuk cair ampas tebu), dan P4 (100% pupuk cair ampas tebu). Data dianalisis dengan ANAVA pada taraf 5%, bila terdapat perbedaan terhadap perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian pupuk cair ampas tebu efektif terhadap jumlah bunga dan jumlah polong, namun tidak efektif terhadap berat kering biji. Konsentrasi terbaik untuk meningkatkan jumlah bunga yaitu 100% pupuk cair pada umur 55 HST, jumlah polong terbaik (50% pupuk cair) saat 106 HST. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah pupuk cair ampas tebu efektif meningkatkan pertumbuhan generatif, yaitu pada jumlah bunga dan jumlah polong.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of mangrove diversity in the Gampong Alue Naga area, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City. This research was conducted from October to December 2020. The study used a survey method, with a purposive sampling technique at each observation station. Determination of the location is in accordance with the characteristics of the mangrove forest habitat that grows in intertidal areas with muddy, loam and sandy soil conditions. The results showed that the value of mangrove diversity was classified into the medium category with an H value of 1.71. The composition of the mangrove species composition is Rhizophora mucronata Lam, Rhizophora apiculata Blume, Avicennia alba Blume, Rhizophora Stylosa Griff, Avicennia marina Forsk, Sesuvium portulacastrum Lam, Soneratia caseolaris Linn, Ipomoea pescaprae L. Sweet. The dominant type of mangrove in the Mangrove ecosystem area of Gampong Alue Naga is Avicennia marina Forsk with an INP value of 278% and the species with the lowest INP value is Soneratia caseolaris Linn with an INP value of 1%. The conclusion of this study shows that the mangrove ecosystem area of Gampong Alue Naga has a moderate Diversity value and shows that the mangrove ecosystem is still relatively stable. Keywords: Mangrove, Diversity, Purposive sampling, Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman mangrove yang terdapat dikawasan Gampong Alue Naga Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Oktober – Desember 2020. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei, dengan teknik purposive sampling pada setiap stasiun pengamatan. Penentuan lokasi sesuai dengan kondisi karakteristik habitat hutan mangrove yang tumbuh pada daerah intertidal dengan kondisi jenis tanah berlumpur, berlempung dan berpasir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai keanekaragaman mangrove tergolong ke dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai H’ 1,71. Komposisi spesies mengrove penyusun yaitu:     Rhizophora mucronata Lam, Rhizophora apiculata Blume, Avicennia alba Blume, Rhizophora Stylosa Griff, Avicennia marina Forsk, Sesuvium portulacastrum Lam, Soneratia caseolaris Linn, Ipomoea pescaprae L. Sweet. Jenis mangrove yang mendominasi di kawasan ekosistem Mangrove Gampong Alue Naga adalah spesies              Avicennia marina Forsk dengan dan spesies terendah yaitu Soneratia caseolaris Linn Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa kawasan ekosistem mangrove Gampong Alue Naga memiliki nilai Keanekaragaman sedang dan menunjukkan bahwa ekosistem mangrove masih tergolong stabil. Kata kunci:  Mangrove, Keanekaragaman, Purposive sampling.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTMosquitoes Culex sp. become a vector for transmitting filariasis. Prevention efforts are carried out by controllingathe presenceoof Culex sp. mosquito larvae. in nature. The purpose of thisastudyewas to determine the effect of Tagetes erecta L. leaf aextract with ethanol and awateri asl solventa on the behavior of Culex sp. mosquito larvae. Thei researchi method used in this study wasiexperimental method with a complete randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of from factor A (type of solvent) 2 levels and factor B (type of concentration) 6 levels including negative control and positive control so that 12 treatment combinations with 3 replications were obtained. The object used in this study was the Culex sp. mosquito larvae. instar 3 of 360 individuals treated with various concentrations of Tagetes erecta L. leaf extract accompanied by positive and negative controls. The results of observing the behavior of the larvae showed the movement of the larvae from active to inactive with a position at the bottom of the container. The conclusion of this study is that the behavior of the larvae during exposure shows a decreasei in the intensityi of movement with the position of the larvaei ati the bottom ofi the icontainer.Keyword: Tagetes erecta L., Culex sp. larvae, behaviorABSTRAKNyamuk Culex sp. menjadi vektor penular penyakit filariasis. Upaya pencegahan dilakukan dengan mengendalikanakeberadaan larva nyamuk Culex sp. di alam. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun Tagetes erecta L. dengan pelarut etanol dan air terhadap tingkah laku larva nyamuk Culex sp.. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian adalahaRancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial yang terdiri dari faktor A (jenis pelarut) 2 taraf dan faktor B (jenis konsentrasi) 6 taraf termasuk kontrol negatif dan kontrol positif sehingga didapatkan 12 kombinasi perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Objek yang digunakan adalahalarva nyamuk Culex sp. instar 3 sebanyak 360 ekor yang diberikan perlakuan danaberbagai konsentrasi ekstrak daun Tagetes erecta L. disertai kontrol positif dan kontrol negatif. Hasil penelitian pengamatan tingkah laku larva menunjukkan pergerakan larva dari aktif menjadi tidak aktif dengan posisi berada di dasar wadah. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tingkah laku larva saat pemaparan menunjukkan penurunan intensitas gerakan dengan posisi larva berada di dasar wadah.Kata kunci: Tagetes erecta L., larva Culex sp., tingkah laku

Abstract

ABSTRACTMosquitoes Culex sp. type of insect that is known as a vector for transmitting dangerous diseases, so it is necessary to controll iit so that it does not become a disease outbreak by utilizing plants such as basil leaves which can be an alternative insecticide. Pineapple peel is waste that can be used as bioethanol to be used as an organic solvent because it is polar. The study is aimed to determiine the movement behavior of Culex sp. mosquito larvae. after exposure to basil leaf extract before death. With 6 treatmnts and 4 repications, the research methodology utilized was a completely randomized design (CRD). As a treatment, water was used as a negative control (P0), basil leaf extract at concentrations of 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm, 2000 ppm, and 2500 ppm was used as a positive control (P4), and abate was used as a therapy at 100 ppm (P5). The Culex sp. mosquito larvae's behavior after being exposed to basil leaf extract was measured using the parameters. ANOVA was used to examine the data. The results of ANOVA on movement behavior of the larvae showed Fcount = 43.71 Ftable = 4.25. at the test level α = 0.01. This study concludes that Culex sp mosquito larvae that have been exposed to basil leaf extract show changes in moving behavior from previously active to inactive and finally die.Keywords: Behavior, Basil, Culex sp.ABSTRAK   Nyamuk Culex sp. ialah jenis serangga yang dikenal sebagai vektor penular penyakit berbahaya, sehingga perlu pengendali agar tidak menjadi wabah penyakit dengan memanfaatkan tumbuhan seperti daun kemangi yang dapat menjadi alternatif insektisida. Kulit nanas merupakan limbah yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bioetanol untuk dijadikan pelarut organik karena bersifat polar. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk melihat tingkah laku bergerak larva nyamuk Culex sp. setelah terpapar ekstrak daun kemangi sebelum kematian. Rancangan penelitian yang dipakai ialah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu air (P0) sebagai kontrol negatif, konsentrasi ekstrak daun kemangi 1000 ppm (P1), 1500 ppm (P2), 2000 ppm (P3), 2500 ppm (P4) dan abate 100 ppm (P5) sebagai kontrol positif. Parameter yang diamati adalah tingkah laku larva nyamuk Culex sp. setelah terpapar ekstrak daun kemangi. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA. Hasil ANAVA terhadap tingkah laku bergerak larva menunjukkan Fhitung = 43,71 Ftabel = 4,25. pada taraf uji α = 0,01. Simpulan dari penelitian ini ialah larva nyamuk Culex sp yang telah terpapar ekstrak daun kemangi menunjukkan perubahan tingkah laku bergerak yang sebelumnya aktif bergerak menjadi tidak aktif dan akhirnya mengalami kematian.Kata Kunci: Tingkah laku, Kemangi, Culex sp.

Abstract

Feed is the biggest component (50-70%) which causes an increase in production costs, to reduce feed production costs is to mix inexpensive and easily accessible natural feed with a high enough protein content. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of avocado (Persea americana M.) and pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata D.) seeds on the growth of  nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus L.). The design used non-factorial RAL consisted of 4 treatments and 6 replications, namely P0 (control feed), P1 (40 grams of avocado seed feed + 40 grams of pumpkin seeds + 20 grams of mixed material), P2 (20 grams of avocado seed feed + 60 grams of pumpkin seeds + 20 grams of mixed ingredients) and P3 (60 grams of avocado seed feed + 20 grams of pumpkin seeds + 20 grams of mixed ingredients). Data analysis using ANOVA. The results showed that feeding increased the growth of tilapia. In tilapia, a very effective growth was found in P2 feed of 16.44 grams with a growth rate of 3.12% / day. The conclusion of the study indicated that there was an effect of the combination of avocado and pumpkin seeds on the growth of tilapia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi larutan penyangga. Oleh karena itu diterapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berorientasi green chemistry yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan mengetahui respon siswa pada materi larutan penyangga di MAN 1 Banda Aceh Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Populasi sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 1 Banda Aceh. Pengambilan sampel  menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan 14 soal pilihan ganda beralasan. Analisis data hasil belajar menggunakan perhitungan N-gain dan uji t sedangkan respon siswa menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai postes kelas eksperimen sebesar 77% sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 54%. Skor N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 73% termasuk kategori tinggi sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 44% termasuk kategori sedang. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis (uji t) yang menunjukkan nilai thit ttabel (7,6121,993) maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing berorientasi green chemistry dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Siswa juga memberikan respon positif terhadap model pembelajaran ini.
