Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) adalah anak yang dalam proses pertumbuhan/ perkembangannya tidak sesuai dengan tumbuh kembang anak pada umumnya baik itu fisik, mental, intelektual, sosial, dan emosional. Pengembangan media pembelajaran Buku Pintar (BUPI) Matematika ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya media belajar berupa buku 3 Dimensi yang dapat digunakan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Matematika bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK). Penelitian ini merupakan kategori penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), dengan metode pengembangan model Borg & Gall yang dimodifikasi. Buku Pintar (BUPI) Matematika dikembangkan dengan basis kearifan lokal Kota Balikpapan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa Media pembelajaran Buku Pintar (BUPI) Matematika termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Valid (rata-rata skor 4,69), Sangat Praktis (skor 5), dan Sangat Efektif (rata-rata hasil belajar 80,75).

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the perception of self-discipline has an influence on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This is cross sectional survey research with quantitative approach. The research sample was randomly selected from the population (N = 64) and 55 students were chosen based on the Isaac & Michael table. Questionnaires were used to collect data on perception of self-discipline and passed the validity test and reliability test (Cronbach's Alpha coefficient = 0.71; considered as high reliability). Whereas, the data of mathematics learning outcomes were obtained from daily mathematics exams. Simple linear regression statistical analysis was used to proceed the data and the result showed that 7 students had perception of self-discipline in low category, 35 students in medium category, and 13 students in high category. Also, the perception of self-discipline has a positive linear relationship with mathematics learning outcomes and contributes 31.8% of the variance of mathematics learning outcomes (R = 0.564; R2 = 0.318; β1 = 1.679; p < 0.05). This research recommended to improve students’ self-discipline in enhancing students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Background: Now the awareness of parents to give tutoring or tutoring to their children when outside of school. Various kinds of tutoring service processes can be provided to students in improving their learning outcomes so that they can be optimal. This community service aims to find out how the tutoring process works in improving children's learning abilities in Gunung Sari Ilir. Methods: This PKM is a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this PKM were elementary school children who took tutoring at Gunung Sari Ilir, with purposive sampling as the subject. Results: With students participating in tutoring activities like this, it is expected that students will be able to find ways of learning according to their abilities. The quality of the teaching-learning process is increasing and can improve student learning outcomes. Giving material when the process of tutoring services in class is able to analyze the academic level of students. Based on the PKM that has been done, it can be concluded that students are very attentive when the teacher explains, students are also enthusiastic about answering teacher questions, students are also enthusiastic in answering questions on the blackboard so that the learning ability of each child increases

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar persentase dan mendeskripsikan penyebab dari kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika materi perbandingan senilai dan berbalik nilai berdasarkan prosedur Newman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Balikpapan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan serta menggunakan tabel bantuan untuk mengetahui besar persentase kesalahan siswa. Siswa diberikan tes dalam bentuk soal cerita materi perbandingan senilai dan berbalik nilai serta dilakukan wawancara. Hasil pekerjaan subyek dianalisis berdasarkan prosedur Newman. Dalam penelitian ini diperoleh hampir seluruh kesalahan dilakukan oleh siswa meliputi kesalahan memahami sebesar 43,2% yang disebabkan karena kurang memahami dengan apa yang diminta dalam soal, kesalahan transformasi sebesar 75,7% yang disebabkan karena kurang memahami rumus yang harus digunakan, kesalahan keterampilan proses sebesar 78,6% yang terjadi karena kurang teliti dalam melakukan proses perhitungan, dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban sebesar 49,3% yang disebabkan karena terburu buru dalam proses mengerjakan dan tidak terbiasa menuliskan kesimpulan.

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat besar pada dunia Pendidikan. Perubahan sistem pembelajaran di sekolah mendorong guru untuk melakukan inovasi dalam memberikan layanan pembelajaran yang baik. Flipped classroom merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang menggabungkan pembelajaran daring dan luring. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran flipped classroom. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 22. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara. Penerapan Flipped classroom terbagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu tahap pra-kelas dan tahap aktivitas kelas. Penerapan Flipped classroom tak lepas dari peran teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran dan berbagai sumber belajar lainnya.

Abstrak: Salah satu tujuan pembelajaran adalah agar siswa memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang baik. Meski demikian beberapa siswa belum mampu memecahkan masalah matematika dengan mengandalkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sendiri.Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Balikpapan tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Balikpapan tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang terdistribusi dalam 10 kelas. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII.1, VIII.3, dan VIII.4 dengan total 89 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket kemandirian belajar siswa 27 pernyataan, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika 5 soal uraian pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjuukan terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Balikpapan tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan persamaan regresi Y = 16,227 + 0,890 X. .Temuan peneltian ini dapat menjadi landasan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar agar dapat mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika.Abstract: One of mathematics learning objective is to enable students to solve mathematical problem. However, some students have not be able to solve mathematical problems by relying on their own knowledge and skills. This quantitative research aims to determine the effect of independent learning on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Balikpapan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The population in this study were all of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Balikpapan for the 2023/2024 academic year, distributed in 10 classes. The sample in this study was students of classes VIII.1, VIII.3, and VIII.4 in total of 89 students selected using a cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected using a student-learning-independence-questionnaire consisting 27 statements, and a mathematical problem-solving ability test consisting 5 questions of systems of linear equations in two variables. The data analysis technique used in this research is simple linear regression. The results of this research show that there is an influence of independent learning on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 8 Balikpapan for the 2023/2024 academic year with the regression equation Y = 16.227 + 0.890. Research findings can be basis for increasing learning independence in order to develop mathematical problem solving abilities.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of blended learning containing soft skills in Numerical Methods in Balikpapan University. This type of research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental experimental design, namely one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was a student of Mathematics Education at Balikpapan University in the Numerical Methods course. Research instruments in the form of tests. Data analysis techniques using the Student Wilcoxon test on the learning outcome test and the t-test on N-Gain were normalized with the help of the JASP program. The results of the hypothesis test showed a value of with , then , the results of the H0 data were rejected so that it was concluded that students could complete mathematics learning using a blended learning design with soft skills with a completeness value of 80.38 with an N-Gain score of 0.64. This means that students' ability to master numerical method subject matter is in the very good category with N-Gain values in the medium category.

Tujuan Pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa pada SD N 014 Balikpapan Barat dalam menjaga kebersihan diri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan bagaimana cara membersihkan lingkungan dan mencuci tangan. Dilaksanakan di SD N 014 Balikapapan Barat, berjalan dengan lancar, dengan harapan yaitu siswa dapat mengaplikasikan materi yang telah disampaikan, terutama tentang menjaga kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, sehingga pemuda pemudi bangsa Indonesia menjadi kader yang berkarakter. Siswa kelas I SD N 014 sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan diri, hal ini dibuktikan adanya cuci tangan. Selain itu siswa juga sadar akan pentignya kebersihan lingkungan dibuktikan dengan siswa sadar untuk menyapu ruangan kelas dan membersihkan laci meja.

The discovery learning model is a type of student-oriented learning that prioritizes meaningful learning by providing opportunities for students to build knowledge independently. The application of the discovery learning model was carried out at SMA Negeri 4 Balikpapan on 35 students of XII-IPS1. This research was descriptive research with the aim of getting an overview of the implementation, activities and learning outcomes of students when applying the discovery learning model. Data was collected through observing students' implementation and activities and mathematics learning outcomes tests. The results of the research show that the implementation of the discovery learning model was carried out well, and showed an increase in student activity and learning outcomes.
