Abstract

The situation of progress of development in various sectors of life urged the madrasa to improve the quality of education are developed. The programs intelligently based on contemporary needs, demands to be realized, so that the existence of madrassas can be functional in answering daily reality, both in the context of developing science and technology, create jobs or in an attempt to foster a critical attitude, dynamic and be autonomous Madrasah need to be developed to meet three demands minimal in improving the quality of madrasah, namely: (1) how to make the madrassa as a vehicle for fostering the spirit or practice of Islamic life, (2) how to strengthen the presence of the madrassa so equally with the school system, (3) how the madrassa able to respond to future demands science and technology in order to anticipate future developments and globalisasi Madrasah era in the context of preparing learners face of changing global age, it becomes important role. Madrasah success in preparing students to face future challenges more complex will produce graduates with a competitive advantage and became the leader of the nation's leaders that will determine the direction of the development of this nation

Abstract

Learning is an important concern in achieving a success obtained by students from the impact of educational activities in an educational institution whose indicators can be seen from the effectiveness of learning carried out by educators and therefore proper management is needed from an educator, so that the name management mastery is needed. learning. This research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research by searching for literature that discusses learning management in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas, then an analysis is carried out to obtain findings and conclusions. The result of this research is that learning in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas has its own characteristics, namely the usual learning methods in Islamic boarding schools, namely wetonan, sorogan, bandongan, and memorization. And if it is associated with learning management, of course, not all of them are applied by pesantren, such as the existence of lesson plans, syllabi, and others, considering that learning in pesantren refers to the book being studied, so the target achievement is to complete the contents of the book, then if it is associated with learning evaluation it does not as in the case of madrasas applying semester exams as a condition for grade promotion, but in pesantren applying memorization of a nadhom which is a requirement for grade promotion, such as nadhom imriti, alfiyah, and othersKeywords: learning management, madrasah, pesantren

Abstract

This paper is to explore the importance of managing education financing in order to improve the quality or quality of education in educational institutions, but in managing education financing it has not yet implemented and optimized a school- or madrasah-based management model so that it has not shown independence in the development of education in schools/ madrasas through the utilization of Education financing. Therefore, in this case, this paper needs to be raised with the aim of analyzing in depth how to implement educational financing management within the framework of school or madrasah-based management in realizing the independence of educational institutions. The method used in this paper uses the Research library approach. The results of the study concluded that financial or financial management by implementing school-based management will create school/madrasah independence in regulating the direction of educational development through the use of school finance or funding. And the efforts that can be made by schools/madrasas to obtain funding do not only depend on the central or regional government, but can optimize the school's internal circle or the surrounding community.

Abstract

Manbaul Ulum Islamic boarding school is a classical Salaf educational institution that develops its educational curriculum based not only on nushus sharia but also on maqashidus sharia. Technically, the curriculum development is oriented towards the construction of the character of tawazun, i'tidal, and tawassuth in religion. The research on the development of a religious moderation curriculum is of utmost importance because it aims to prevent extremism, enhance understanding and tolerance among different religions, and instill ethical and moral values within the religious context. This study aims to explore the development of an Islamic education curriculum in building religious moderation in the Islamic boarding school Manbaul Ulum Bondowoso. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained by using data collection instruments in the form of observation, documentation, and interviews. Then the data were analyzed with qualitative data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation. The results showed that first, the Manbaul Ulum Islamic boarding school developed a pesantren learning curriculum based on maqashid shari'ah and not only on nushus shari'ah, which in this case has the principles of Tawazun, I'tidal, and Tawassuth  in thinking and acting; second, the curriculum developed at the Manbaul Ulum Islamic boarding school is oriented to build religious moderation in the students so that they can preach it after associating with the wider community.   Keywords: Islamic Education Curriculum, Manbaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Religious Moderation

Abstract

A Kyai who leads an Islamic boarding school (pesantren) has its own characteristics which cannot be separated from educational background, family and environmental factors. This article discusses the leadership of KH. Hasyim Muzadi in pesantren, organizations and politics. In this article, the author uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive type of literature study. The article’s findings show that the leadership of KH. Hasyim Muzadi has several styles, namely charismatic, populistic and democratic. Leadership of KH. Hasyim Muzadi succeeded in creating an independent pesantren, an organization with an international reputation and an ethical politics with a positive image. Seorang Kyai yang memimpin pesantren memiliki karakteristik tersendiri yang tidak lepas dari faktor background pendidikan, keluarga dan lingkungan. Artikel ini membahas kepemimpinan KH. Hasyim Muzadi dalam pesantren, organisasi dan politik. Dalam artikel ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis studi pustaka yang bersifat deskriptif. Temuan artikel menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan KH. Hasyim Muzadi memiliki beberapa gaya, yaitu kharismatik, populistik dan demokratik. Kepemimpinan KH. Hasyim Muzadi sukses mewujudkan pesantren yang mandiri, organisasi yang bereputasi internasional dan etika politik yang bercitra positif. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Hasyim Muzadi, Pesantren, Organisasi, Politik.
