Abstract

This study is an attempt to highlight the function of individual talent mapping towards the success of students’ performance. According to Irine Guntur (2014) about 87% college students in Indonesia were wrong majors choice. The circumstance is the main cause that they cannot be able to occupy most strategic and proper professions in the workplaces. Even, many of them become intellectual unemployment. In order to overcome with this problem the talent mapping method for senior high school students is proposed before entering college or university for further education. The study employs simply a phernomenological research which is the reflective study of prereflective or lived experience. As the alternative qualitative research method to which researchers can turn (Catherine Adam and Max van Manen in Given 2008). Hence, researchers has been involving on talent mapping program in which the results will enable and improve students’ potentials to reach the best learning achievement. The study concluded that talent mapping program is urgently needed for senior high school students before they enter college or university. Therefore, the talent mapping program will enhance to the students’ academic results significantly for getting success in the future life

Abstract

This research is motivated by concerns about the high level of violence, hate speech, bullying, and brawls between students in the educational environment, all of which are alarms indicating that Character Education in schools has not been maximized. This type of research is descriptive with an inductive approach to qualitative analysis methods. The data sources in this study are primary data, namely school principals, teachers, students, dormitory builders, and branch administrators of the Wanasigra Ahmadiyya Congregation, while secondary data are lesson plans and various videos on the YouTube channel of SMU Plus Al-Wahid related to the object under study. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed qualitatively by using triangulation to ensure the validity of the data against the focus understudy. The results of this study were that: (1). Character Education at SMU Plus Al-Wahid was borne from four sources: the Indonesian nation's culture, the Pancasila state basis, Abab 21 demands, and the organizational motto 'Love For All Hatred For None’; (2). Implement Character Education at SMU Plus Al-Wahid through learning, habituation, and example in four activity posts; extracurricular, extracurricular, dorm life, and social activities; (3). A more comprehensive evaluation of character education occurs in schools, dormitories, and community environments; and (4). Implementation of character education from the perspective of the motto 'love for all hatred for none' was developed by the Muslim community of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya congregation to participate in strengthening the character of the nation's children on a communal basis, showing synergy with the community around the school. This study concludes that character education in a community-based school does not have to undermine the cultivation of national character education. Still, it can collaborate with character values ??from organizational wisdom.

Abstract

Best practices of formal school education, particularly in the instructional management relates to teaching and learning. Education deals with all domains of human competency. In elementary school, unfortunately, there is still a discrepancy between aim and result. Teacher misconduct will affect students’ bad character. The incorrect education process may create failure in achieving defined educational goals. It is vital for any nation to have competent educational practitioners to ensure its success in developing its students’ skills as a human capital investment of a nation. School curriculum goal is derived from the national education aims which develop students’ potentials for becoming good people in hard skills and soft skills. Therefore, the ideal teachers should understand all students’ characteristics and potentials. This research is an attempt to highlight the function of instructional management of soft skills to the success of students’ performance. The study employs a qualitative research method with multiple case study design, in which a meaning-making activity is underlined as the first objective of interpretive research in understanding social phenomena of education activities. Such phenomena to be interpreted may be found in the practical realm, skilled know-how, and experiences. Based on findings, it is known substantively that students’ soft skills will not be developed if the instructional management focuses on academic. On the other hand, soft skills will enhance significantly students’ academic results, because soft skills will enable and improve students’ potentials to reach the best learning achievement. At last, the researcher offers soft skills formula from an Islamic perspective as a comprehensive concept for building student character to be a good man. In Islamic precepts soft skills are akhlak-adab, good character, positive behavior, spread kindness and bring many benefits to others and the environment. However, these soft skills must be placed under the guidance of Qur’an and Sunnah.

Abstract

This study constitutes of conceptual and/or theoretical framework in Islamic values on soft skills as the main discussion. The purpose of instructional management is to handle teaching and learning process for better learning achievement results. Some researches have shown that soft skills can improve the students learning achievement. It is an urgent for any nation to have competent human capital investment in a Country. This article elucidates soft skills from Western adn Islam soft skills which can enhance the quality of students’ soft skills. The method of qualitative research is utilized in this study with case study approach. The research found that hard skills only contribute less than 20% of individual success. Meanwhile, 80% of success performance is contributed by soft skills. This research indicates soft skills as pivotal aspect for individual star performer not only in workplace but also in education sector. Therefore, soft skills will enable and improve also students’ potentials to reach the best learning achievement. At end, the author elaborates Islamic concept of soft skills. It is substantively that the Islamic teachings are comprehensive concepts to build and shape the noble behaviour of Muslims. At some extent, soft skills in Islamic view could be part of akhlak-adab or good personality which may benefit to other creatures. Finally, Islamic soft skills is inspired by the Quran and Sunnah

Abstract

  Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya semangat belajar Al-Qur’an siswa sekolah dasar yang mulai banyak terjadi saat ini, padahal pada usia ini mereka memasuki masa peka dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu inovasi dalam metode pengajaran Al-Qur’an agar mudah dan menyenangkan siswa. Sekolah Dasar Anak Sholeh Full Day merupakan satu-satunya lembaga formal di kecamatan Sumbermanjing Wetan yang menerapkan metode tutor sebaya dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an sebagai bentuk usaha dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar Al-Qur’an pada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang metode tutor sebaya, implementasi metode tutor sebaya, kendala dan hambatan implementasi metoder tutor sebaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan memakai bentuk study kasus (case study). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode tutor sebaya dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di Sekolah Dasar Anak Sholeh Full Day ini berjalan cukup baik terbukti dengan para guru sebagai pengawas atau pengontrol telah menerapkan prosedur memilih tutor, mempersiapkan tutor, mengevaluasi dan melaksanakan tindak lanjut. Peneliti juga menemukan adanya motif semangat berprestasi, berafiliasi, dan memperkuat diri untuk bermanfaat bagi temannya. Kesimpulannya, metode tutor sebaya ini selain mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar Al-Qur’an dan menumbuhkan karakter positif siswa juga bermanfaat bagi guru dalam menciptakan suasana pembelajaran Al-Qur’an yang lebih akrab dan menyenangkan.   Kata kunci: Tutor Sebaya, Motivasi Belajar, Pembelajaran Al-Quran

Abstract

This study on politeness and akhlak learning strategies used in the interaction between santri and kyai/ustdaz in Pesantren Salaf Al-Qur’an Sholahul Huda Al-Mujahidin. This study was conducted to examine the types of politeness strategies employed by both santri and kyai/ustadz in their daily interaction and the factors underlay them to use such strategies. Further, a case study qualitative approach by doing observation and interview was employed as the method of the study. To figure out the phenomenon, Brown and Levinson’s theory of politeness strategies was applied in analyzing the data which are bald on record, positive politeness, negative politeness and off record. From the analysis, it was figured out that all types of politeness strategies were realized in kyai/ustadz utterances. In contrast, only three politeness strategies were performed by santri. It was identified that the some social factors of power and social distance triggered the santri and kyai/ustadz to perform such strategies. However, another influential factor that was found to encourage the participants to employ those strategies was that Pesantren Sholahul Huda Al-Mujahidin’s culture of akhlak that encompasses several values which are based upon the Islamic values declared in Al Quran and Al Hadith. By maintaining and nurturing this Akhlak and morality, it is believed to be the basis of the realization of peace. Abstrak Studi ini adalah berkaitan dengan strategi pembelajaran akhlak dan kesopanan yang digunakan dalam interaksi antara santri dan Kyai/ustdaz pada Pondok Pesantren Salaf Al-Qur’an Sholahul Huda Al-Mujahidin. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memeriksa jenis strategi kesopanan yang digunakan oleh santri dan Kyai/Ustadz dalam interaksi merkea sehari-hari dan faktor-faktor yang mendasari mereka untuk menggunakan strategi tersebut. Selanjutnya, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara sebagai metode penelitian. Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis fenomena tersebut, penulis menerapkam teori yang diusulkan oleh Brown dan Levinson tentang strategi kesopanan. Dari analisis, diketahui bahwa semua jenis str ategi kesopanan dilakukan oleh Kyai/Ustadz. Sebaliknya, hanya tiga strategi kesopanan yang dilakukan oleh santri. Lebih jauh, teridentifikasi bahwa beberapa faktor sosial seperti kekuatan dan jarak sosial telah memicu para santri dan Kyai/Ustadz untuk melakukan strategi tersebut. Namun, ada faktor lain yang berpengaruh yang mendorong peserta untuk menggunakan strategi itu yaitu budaya Pesantren Sholahul Huda Al-Mujahidin yang mencakup beberapa nilai akhlak yang didasarkan pada nilai-nilai Islam yang dinyatakan dalam Al Quran dan Al Hadits. Dengan menjaga dan memelihara akhlak inilah yang nantinya diyakini menjadi dasar dari terciptanya perdamaian. Kata Kunci: Strategi Kesantunan, Bahasa Verbal, Komunikasi dan Pesantren

Abstract

Artikel ini memaparkan implementasi Triple T Core Values ​​Mbah Hasyim ke dalam Organisasi Nadhatul Ulama (NU) dan Lembaga Pendidikannya, Penelitian ini membahas tentang pentingnya peran Core Values ​​Mbah Hasyim ke dalam Organisasi NU. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi positif dari Nilai-Nilai Inti Mbah Hasyim dalam pendidikan perdamaian dunia melalui lembaga-lembaganya. Nilai-nilai inti mbah Hasyim saat ini relevan untuk diangkat ketika UNESCO mencanangkan pendidikan perdamaian dunia. Nilai-nilai tersebut dilihat dalam konteks perspektif umat Islam Indonesia. Mbah Hasyim sebagai pendiri Nahdhatul Ulama (NU) memiliki jiwa damai karena ia menemukan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dan nilai-nilai yang diturunkan dari ajaran Islam dan dirumuskan menjadi nilai-nilai triple core. NU sebagai organisasi keagamaan yang berlandaskan konsep Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah, memiliki prinsip 3 Ts: Tawassut (Moderat), Tawazun, Tasamuh, plus amar ma'ruf dan nahi munkar; yang selalu menjadi landasan politik kebangsaan NU dalam perpolitikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi nilai-nilai inti mbah Hasyim serta melihat implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut ke dalam Organisasi NU. Tujuan peneliti adalah untuk mendapatkan konsep yang jelas dan tepat sebelum melanjutkan penelitian lapangan yang akan menjadi langkah penelitian selanjutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang pertama-tama memanfaatkan studi kepustakaan dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian akan membuktikan nilai-nilai inti Mbah Hasyim berkontribusi banyak terhadap toleransi beragama, perdamaian dan hidup bersama dalam satu visi dan identitas sebagai kebangsaan Indonesia. Pancasila sebagai landasan filosofis merupakan jalan tengah untuk mencegah Indonesia dari benturan agama dan negara dan terbukti efektif dalam menjembatani perbedaan suku, agama, ras, budaya dan bahasa sehingga seluruh elemen bangsa Indonesia mampu hidup bersama (common platform) dalam kerangka Bhinneka Tunggal Ika sebagai semboyan dan semboyan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.

Abstract

Sistem hukum di Indonesia memiliki ciri khas tersendiri. Pengaruh hukum Belanda dalam sistem hukum di Indonesia cukup dominan. Hukum adat dan hukum Islam juga diakomodasi dalam hukum nasional Indonesia. Hal lain yang berasal dari fiqih muamalah (hukum Islam) dan mendapat perhatian pemerintah adalah terkait persoalan zakat. Dalam mengkaji masalah ini penulis menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Disamping itu, untuk mempertajam hasil analisis penulis juga mengakomodasi hasil diskusi dan wawancara tak terstruktur dengan pihak-pihak terkait tentang tema yang diangkat oleh penulis. Penelitian ini menemukan solusi bagi pengentasan kemiskinan yakni dengan cara menerapkan dan mengoptimalkan zakat dalam pengelolaan dan pendistribusian zakat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi zakat secara optimal akan dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara golongan kaya dan miskin. Sebagaimana pajak, zakat juga merupakan bagian dari penerimaan negara, oleh karena itu keterkaitan antara pajak dan zakat sangat erat

Abstract

Keberhasilan pendidikan agama di madrasah ditentukan oleh  profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Islam,berkaitan dengan peningkatan profesionalisme tersebut  kepala madrasah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Mambaul Ulum menerapkan  strategi kepemimpinan demokratis  yang cukup efektif dalam mengemban tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai pemimpin di lembaganya.sehingga segala upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme  guru Pendidikan Agama Isam sangat menarik untuk diteliti. Salah satu upaya itu adalah Strategi Kepemimpinan Demokratis Kepala Madrasah dalam Meningkatkan Profesionalisme Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Mambaul Ulum Kecamatan Bululawang Kabupaten Malang”. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif yang bersifat alami dan ditampilkan apa adanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Isam di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Mambaul Ulum Bululawang Malang cukup memadai dengan beberapa indikator guru Pendidikan Agama Isam sesuai kualifikasi dan tersertifikasi; membuat perencanaan pembelajaran (2) Strategi yang digunakan kepala madrasah: keteladanan, disiplin, motivasi, Focus  Group Discussion (FGD), supervisi; (3) pelaksanaan kepemimpinan demokratis dengan mengoptimalkan peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator, manajer, administrator, supervisor, leader, inovator dan motivator. Kata Kunci : Strategi Kepemimpinan Demokratis, Profesionalisme Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam
