Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui efektivitas pendampingan pemanfaatan aplikasi Braille converter untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SLB dalam pengalihaksaraan simbol musik ke simbol braille. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen, dengan menggunakan One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru SLB tunanetra YAAT Klaten dengan teknik sampel tertuju. Pengumpulan data dengan instrumen tes evaluasi diri. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan validitas isi, dan uji reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan teknik test-retest. Analisa data menggunakan Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test diperoleh hasil Zhitung: -4.111 dengan Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed): 0.0. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendampingan pemanfaatan aplikasi braille converter efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru SLB dalam pengalihaksaraan simbol musik ke simbol braille.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between hope and acceptance of parents toward children with special needs in special education school in all district of Ngawi. This research’s design used quantitative, with correlational research types. The subject in this research were parents of children with special needs who are at junior high and senior high special school levels, amounting to 52 people. Determination of subject used purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used two attitude scale, namely parents hope scale (α=0,873) and parents acceptance scale (α=0,877). Data analysis used product moment correlation between Pearson. The result of correlation test showed a correlation coefficient value of 0,688 with value rtabel of 0,279, so rhit rtabel (ρ0,05) for a significance level of 5%. The result of correlation test is that there was a positive significant relationship between hope and acceptance of parents toward children with special needs who are at junior high and senior high special school levels in special education school in all districts of Ngawi.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the innovation in learning and accessibility for students with disabilities in the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at one university in Central Java. This study is a mixed methods research using a survey approach. The respondents of this research were 20 students with disabilities. The sample was taken by purposive sampling on the basis of their participation in the Study Center of Diffability (PSD). Data collection techniques in this study were conducted through questionnaires (online form) and interviews. The online questionnaire was given to 20 disabled students at one university in Central Java. Meanwhile, the interviews were conducted with one student with visual impairment and one student with hearing impairment. The questionnaire data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, while the interview data were used as additional data to support the questionnaire data. The results of the study indicate that there are still students with disabilities who experience difficulties while attending lectures at universities due to the obstacles faced, namely the lack of development of learning approach innovations to help students with disabilities to participate in the lecture process. The research conducted can run well and is expected to be useful as an effort to improve the quality of special education services in Indonesia, especially in the implementation of inclusive education services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi SUPERSMART terhadap pemahaman vocational placement peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus pada guru Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Negeri Salatiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 25 guru SLB, yaitu 22 guru perempuan dan 3 guru laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes pemahaman vocational placement secara online. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji beda T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil pretest dan posttest dengan t = -3,988; dengan taraf signifikansi p = 0,001. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan aplikasi SUPERSMART berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman vocational placement untuk peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus pada guru SLB Negeri Salatiga. Oleh karena itu, aplikasi SUPERSMART dapat dimanfaatkan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman vocational placement untuk peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus pada guru SLB Negeri Salatiga.
