Abstract

Having a deep multicultural perception is a must for school counsellors who serve students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Describing their perception of the importance of multicultural guidance and counselling is the main objective of this study. Fifty middle and high school counsellors participated in this study. Data of their perception were collected by administering a 10-item questionnaire in an online version which requires them to respond on a scale of 1-10, ranging from not important to important, encompassing cognitive, affective, and practice dimensions. The main findings of this study revealed that school counsellors have similar perceptions on the importance of multicultural guidance and counselling either in cognitive, affective, or practice dimensions, according to demographic data categories of gender, age, and years of experience. The significant difference is only found as they are categorized into middle and high school counsellors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a valid and practical self-regulated learning e-booklet. This study uses the ADDIE development model which has 5 stages (Tegeh, 2014) namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the results of research on the development of self-regulated learning E-Booklet media, it can be concluded that self-regulated learning E-Booklet media is prepared using the methods of analysis, planning, development and implementation. Then, the self-regulated learning E-Booklet Media is feasible to use and has a fairly high score in the validation results of the material test and display. The self-regulated learning E-Booklet media is effective in increasing student self-regulated learning and can be used as a medium for delivering information in the realm of guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi professional guru BK di Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan, melalui pendapingan pembuatan media layanan BK berbasis google site. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan kepada 30 peserta. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan in,i yaitu pemahaman guru terhadap penggunaan media layanan BK berbasis google site dalam pelaksanaan layanan BK selama masa pandemic berdasarkan hasil pretest dan postes, dan tugas peserta diperoleh bahwa ada peningkatan pemahamn guru terhadap penggunaan media laynan BK berbasis google site.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: (1) to describe group guidance services and their implementation for high school students in Palembang City; and (2) produce a group guidance model based on the character values of the Palembang Darusalam sultanate figures for high school students in Palembang City. This study uses research and development (R & D) methods and designs with the following steps: (1) preliminary study and data collection; (2) research planning; (3) hypothetical model design; (4) validation of hypothetical models; (5) model revision; (6) final model. This study involved 2 guidance and counseling experts as expert validators and 5 guidance and counseling teachers as practitioner validators. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the conclusions of this study are: (1) Group guidance services for high school students in Palembang City are carried out discussing topics agreed upon when the implementation of group guidance has begun, and have not discussed the topic of the character values of Palembang figures, and (2) a group guidance model based on the character values of the Palembang Darussalam sultanate figures for high school students in the city of Palembang. consists of 7 (seven) components, namely rationale, vision and mission, objectives, content of group counseling, support system, stages of group counseling, evaluation and follow-up.
