Abstract

This study aims to identify learning barriers of Sriwijaya University students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research was a survey. The subjects in this study were students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Sriwijaya University. The data collection technique used a questionnaire instrument that was distributed to respondents online using a google form. The results of the study showed that the learning barriers of Sriwijaya University students on internal factors amounted to 56.58%, while on external factors amounted to 55.12%.  So, it can be concluded that the two factors of learning barriers are in the medium category.

Abstract

Agresivitas adalah tindakan seseorang dalam menyakiti orang atau benda lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan inventori kecenderungan perilaku agresif peserta didik yang valid dan reliabel sehingga dapat digunakan sekolah dan atau konselor sekolah dalam mengidentifikasi kecenderungan siswa dalam bertindak agresif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 312 (70 orang pada uji tahap 3, 242 pada uji tahap 4) yang dipilih secara acak pada sekolah menengah pertama di Kabupaten Kayu Agung. Pengembangan inventori kecenderungan perilaku agresif menggunakan metode research and development dengan 5 tahap pengembangan ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implement, dan evaluation). Hasil penelitian pada tahap 3 menunjukkan seluruh item valid dengan nilai alpha cronbach’s sebesar 0.778. Namun pada uji reliabilitas product moment ditemukan 6 item tidak reliabel sehingga dilakukan perbaikan konteks item pada 5 item dan 1 item dieliminasi. Sedangkan pada uji tahap 4 ditemukan 34 item dinyatakan valid dan reliabel dengan nilai alpha cronbach’s sebesar 0,858. Oleh karena itu inventori kecenderungan perilaku agresif telah teruji keterandalannya dan dapat dipublikasikan agar dapat digunakan oleh sekolah terutama konselor sekolah.______________________________________________________________ Aggressiveness is the act of a person hurting another person or object. This study aims to produce a valid and reliable inventory of aggressive behavior tendencies so that it can be used school or school counselors in identifying students' tendencies to act aggressively. This study involved 312 (70 studenst in the stage 3 test, 242 in the stage 4 test) randomly selected students in middle school in Kayu Agung Regency. The development of an aggressive behavior inventory uses the research and development method with 5 ADDIE development stages (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results of the research in stage 3 showed all valid items with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.778. However, in the product-moment reliability test, it was found that 6 items were not reliable so that the context of the items was corrected for 5 items and 1 item was eliminated. In the stage 4 test, 34 items were found to be valid and reliable with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.858. Therefore, the inventory of aggressive behavior has been proven reliable and can be published so that it can be used by schools, especially school counselors.

Abstract

Sejak lahir, remaja yang berasal dari kohor generasi Z sudah akrab dengan internet dan perangkat digital. Kecanggihan teknologi memudahkan manusia mengakses berbagai informasi tanpa batas waktu dan ruang. Terlebih lagi, selama pembelajaran daring akibat pandemi Covid-19, remaja semakin tidak terpisahkan dengan telepon seluler. Apabila orang tua tidak mengontrol pemakaian telepon seluler dan internet maka berbagai dampak negatif akan timbul sehingga diperlukan adanya sosialisasi tentang pendidikan karakter yang dapat menyelaraskan antara teknologi dengan manusia itu sendiri. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan menanamkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa SMAN 1 Tanah Abang sebagai aktor generasi Z. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode tanya jawab guna menumbuhkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam mengenali nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sebagai bekal dalam mengembangkan kepribadian yang berkarakter. Namun, upaya ini membutuhkan sinergi dari berbagai pihak, seperti orang tua, guru, perangkat sekolah, pemangku adat, dan remaja itu sendiri guna mewujudkan generasi yang berkarakter.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a valid and practical self-regulated learning e-booklet. This study uses the ADDIE development model which has 5 stages (Tegeh, 2014) namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the results of research on the development of self-regulated learning E-Booklet media, it can be concluded that self-regulated learning E-Booklet media is prepared using the methods of analysis, planning, development and implementation. Then, the self-regulated learning E-Booklet Media is feasible to use and has a fairly high score in the validation results of the material test and display. The self-regulated learning E-Booklet media is effective in increasing student self-regulated learning and can be used as a medium for delivering information in the realm of guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Coaching for adolescents can be initiated through knowledge of future challenges, both in personal life and in socializing. This study aims to determine the knowledge of adolescents about Generation Planning (GenRe) through the values ​​of local wisdom. The research was conducted at a senior high school in Kecamatan Tanah Abang, Kabupaten Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir with the research subjects being high school students who were selected by random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires on knowledge of reproductive health, drugs and addictive substances, as well as local wisdom. The results showed that 68.33% of students knew enough about reproductive health, 80% of students knew well about drugs and addictive substances and their consequences, and only 50.40% of students knew and practiced the values ​​of local wisdom in everyday life. Based on the results of the study, students' knowledge regarding Generation Planning is included in the sufficient category so that it is necessary to inculcate the values ​​of local wisdom and socialize Generation Planning by parents, teachers, and community leaders in order to create a golden generation in the future.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi professional guru BK di Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan, melalui pendapingan pembuatan media layanan BK berbasis google site. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan kepada 30 peserta. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan in,i yaitu pemahaman guru terhadap penggunaan media layanan BK berbasis google site dalam pelaksanaan layanan BK selama masa pandemic berdasarkan hasil pretest dan postes, dan tugas peserta diperoleh bahwa ada peningkatan pemahamn guru terhadap penggunaan media laynan BK berbasis google site.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the culture shock phenomenon that occurs in guidance and counseling program at freshmen of Universitas Sriwijaya. The approach used in this research is quantitative with descriptive method. Data collection by using a questionnaire given via google form. The study population was 2022 fresmen at Sriwijaya University who migrated to Palembangan from outside and inside South Sumatra with a sample of 82 student selected by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is google form “Inventory Culture Shock” (ICS) with a reliability of 0.74. The findings of the study show that culture shock of students from outside south Sumatra is classified as medium was 56,09% and originating from within South Sumatra is relatively low was 51,22%. Then, there was no difference in culture shock between students from aoutside and in South Sumatra. Guidance and Counseling Program student are categorized as fast in adapting to new enviroments and have made efforts not to experience culture shock by thingking openly and being active in enviromental activity. _____________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena gegar budaya yang terjadi pada mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling tahun pertama Universitas Sriwijaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar “Iventory Culture Shock” (ICS) dengan reliabilitas 0.74 menggunakan google form. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2022 di Universitas Sriwijaya yang berasal dari dalam dan luar Sumatera Selatan dengan sampel 82 orang mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gegar budaya yang dialami oleh mahasiswa yang berasal dari luar Sumatera Selatan tergolong sedang yaitu 56,09% dan yang berasal dari dalam Sumatera Selatan tergolong rendah yaitu 51,22%. Kemudian tidak ada perbedaan gegar budaya antara mahasiswa luar dan dalam dari Sumatera Selatan. Mahasiswa Program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling dikategorikan cepat dalam beradaptasi dengan lingkungan baru serta telah melakukan berpikir terbuka dan aktif dalam kegiatan di lingkungan bentuk upaya untuk mengurangi gegar budaya.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran menuntut siswa untuk mengembangkan pemikiran kreatif dan memperluas pengetahuan mereka. Tuntutan dan ruang lingkup kegiatan siswa seringkali menimbulkan stress. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi guru BK di sekolah mitra diantaranya adalah siswa yang menunjukkan perilaku agresi, menunjukkan kebosanan dalam belajar dan kebiasaan menunda-nunda mengerjakan tugas. Salah satu strategi pendekatan yang dapat digunakan pada layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk membantu mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah teknik relaksasi. Relaksasi adalah strategi perilaku yang dapat digunakan individu untuk mengembangkan proses internal yang positif dalam kepribadian individu tersebut. Tujuan dari pelatihan dan pendampingan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman akan pengetahuan dan keterampilan seluruh guru BK di SMP Kota Prabumulih dalam menggunakan teknik relaksasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk guru BK SMP di Kota Prabumulih dan dilaksanakan selama bulan September 2022 secara blended learning dengan menggunakan beberapa metode pelatihan yaitu: 1) penyampaian materi tentang teknik relaksasi, 2) Pelatihan dan Pendampingan teknik relaksasi, 3) Praktik mandiri teknik relaksasi, dan 4) Penilaian dan evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan teknik relaksasi. Meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan dan kendala dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian di wilayah ini, namun kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam bentuk pendampingan dan pelatihan teknik relaksasi untuk guru BK SMP Kota Prabumulih dapat terlaksana dengan lancar dan baik. Topik yang dibahas dalam pelatihan ini bersifat terkini dan guru BK belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan mendalam mengenai metode relaksasi. Peserta antusias dan terpacu untuk berpartisipasi agar dapat memahami informasi yang disajikan sepanjang kegiatan pengabdian. Hasil postest pemahaman yang diberikan juga menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru BK terhadap materi teknik relaksasi.The learning process requires students to develop creative thinking and expand their knowledge. The demands and scope of student activities often cause stress. Problems often faced by guidance and counseling teachers at partner schools include students showing aggressive behavior, boredom in studying, and the habit of procrastinating on assignments. One strategic approach a counselor can use in guidance and counseling services to help overcome this problem is relaxation techniques. Relaxation is a behavioral strategy individuals can use to develop positive internal processes in their personality. This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of all Prabumulih City Middle School guidance and counseling teachers using relaxation techniques. This activity was conducted for junior high school guidance and counseling teachers in Prabumulih City. It was carried out during September 2022 in a blended learning manner using several training methods, namely: 1) delivery of material on relaxation techniques, 2) Training and Mentoring on relaxation techniques, 3) Independent practice of relaxation techniques, and 4) Assessment and evaluation of relaxation technique training and assistance activities. Even though there are several challenges and obstacles in implementing service activities in this area, the activities carried out in the form of mentoring and training in relaxation techniques for Prabumulih City Middle School guidance and counseling teachers can be carried out smoothly and well. The topics discussed in this training are current, and guidance and counseling teachers have never received in-depth training regarding relaxation methods. Participants are enthusiastic and motivated to participate so they can understand the information presented throughout the service activities. The results of the posttest understanding also showed increased guidance and counseling teachers' knowledge of relaxation technique material.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of social counseling on the interpersonal interaction skills of students. With increasing demands for effective communication and social adaptation in academic and professional settings, the development of interpersonal skills is crucial for student success. Social counseling, which provides support and guidance through structured interventions, is believed to enhance students' ability to interact effectively with peers, faculty, and others in their social environments. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining pre- and post-counseling assessments with qualitative interviews to assess changes in communication, empathy, conflict resolution, and cooperation. Results indicate that social counseling significantly improves students’ interpersonal skills, with marked improvements in communication abilities and relationship-building behaviors. The study contributes to the growing body of research on the role of counseling in educational settings and offers practical recommendations for integrating social counseling programs into student development initiatives.

Abstract

The increasingly complex demands of the modern era require educational services, including guidance and counseling, to transform and align with the needs of 21st-century learners. School counselors play a strategic role in guiding students to develop their potential and plan their future careers effectively. However, a needs assessment conducted in Ogan Ilir Regency revealed that many school counselors still face challenges in designing Counseling Service Implementation Plans (RPLBK) based on 21st-century skills, known as the Four C’s: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication. This community service activity aimed to enhance the professional competence of school counselors through a structured training program focused on developing RPLBK aligned with the Four C’s framework. The training was delivered using a blended learning model with an in-on-in approach, including theoretical sessions, face-to-face workshops, and follow-up mentoring for revision and evaluation. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and skills in designing more creative, collaborative, and contextually relevant RPLBKs. This initiative is expected to serve as a starting point in strengthening the professional capacity of school counselors to provide adaptive and relevant career guidance services in the digital era.
