Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of an online learning system based on MOOCs at Poltekbang Palembang. This type of research is survey research which can later become the basis for further development research. The research instrument used was a needs analysis questionnaire with 21 questions given to 115 respondents who were students of the Palembang Poltekbang. In this study, data analysis used descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the data obtained, it can be concluded that currently, students need an online learning system based on MOOCs. It is based on the data obtained from all statements regarding the needs of Palembang Poltekbang students for effective online learning. Almost all of them were answered, with the most significant percentage being in the answer choices strongly agree and agree. Students need the points offered in each statement that they fill out on the needs questionnaire sheet. The Va value of 3.4339 was also obtained from the data obtained, which entered the valid category. While the reliability value obtained is 0.91, and the value is greater than r table for df = 113, which is 0.1832 because rcountrtable, then it is included in the reliable category.

Abstract

This qualitative research raises the theme of Madrasah Head Policy Management in improving the quality of education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong, the results of the study indicate that the quality of education can be achieved by prioritizing madrasas in curriculum development and teacher professional development through the activities of Teacher Working Groups, Madrasah Head Policy Management can be done through internal and external factors of madrasas in fostering teacher honesty, appreciation, harmonious and humane climate of communication of democracy between leaders and teachers, Principals of madrasas foster a conducive atmosphere of madrasas, foster a sense of responsibility to teachers in teaching, through coordination with district leaders, madrasa committee and the community, so that the quality of education can be improved.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the marketing of education services by educational institutions which are now facing a lot of challenges in this global era. The marketing of educational serviceis is a strategy to increases school interest for students at this time, which is the most important element for the quality and development of education in an educational institution. The paper will discuss more specifically how marketing is applied in MAN Insan Cendikia Bangka Tengah as a strategy to increase the quality of its education. Furthermore, it look at how widespread marketing of educational services has departed from the original concept of the school as a non-profit institution which is not a business area in the world of education. Schools as providersof educational services need to study and high spiritsto increase school interest for students, becasueeducation is an ongoing teaching learning process.

Abstract

Modernization with various impacts should be anticipated the educator by mastering two competences, science and technology competency and spiritual competency. A weakness in one of those competences makes the students’ development is not balanced which finally lead to their split personality. Therefore, the human potential includes both of competences must be internalized and developed in students simultaneously. In that context, this research conducted to discuss the implementation of school management based on the pesantren value which is developed at MTs Alhidayah Muara Telang. The approach of this research is qualitative on case study. The results of this research conclude that: Pesantren value developed at MTs Alhidayah Muara Telang is the essential value defined in Five Spirits of Madrasah, (2) The Teachers’ Management at MTs Alhidayah Muara Telang includes: Planning, Recruitment, Selection, Training, Teachers Development, Evaluation of Work Performance, and Compensation, (3) The curriculum management at MTs Alhidayah covered: the subject planning, curriculum organizing, curriculum implementation, and evaluation of Madrasah programs.
