Abstract

Abstract

Electric Railway (KRL) is a train that is based on eletrification system. The electrification system in the KRL supplies electrical energy to the train locomotive and several other carriage units, so the train can run. Electrical energy can be either AC or DC source. There are two electrical systems to support the performance of KRL, propulsion system and auxiliary system. The propulsion system is a driving system and than the auxiliary system is the system that handles the electrical load on KRL. In this research, discuss about the loss of propulsion system on KRL LAA Electric DC, AC Traction Motor. The propulsion system consists of several components, such as pantograph, circuit breaker, capacitor filter, IGBT VVVF inverters and AC traction motors. The component has different losses and different efficiencies. There are five test conditions for AC traction voltage inputs of 160.5V, 321V, 493.9V, 635V and 645V. By calculating using equations, from the five test conditions it can be seen that the propulsion system has the lowest power loss with the highest efficiency at the input voltage of AC 635V traction motors, which obtained the power loss of inverter VVVF IGBT 41.996kW with the efficiency 90.67% and the power loss of AC traction motor 18.219kW with the efficiency 91.45%.

Abstract

Goat Peranakan Ettawa ( PE ) is a kind of superior goat derived from goat crosses, between Ettawa (Jamnapari ) from India and Kambing Kacang (Bean Goat) from Java. A factor to determine quality of goat PE is it’s face. More than 30 cm ears length and the head color is black represents good quality. More better the quality of goat face, means higher selling price. In this study, male goat face is classified into class good quality, less good, and not good at data such as photo / image In the market, classification done by visual observation, so many farmers have difficulty in classifying the face of a goat. For that purpose, a system is needed that capable for classifying a goat face to facilitate farmers in classifying. This classification system uses Perceptron Method, is a method of guided learning using characteristic as input those are ears length, black value and brown face value. Images are used as training images as much as 9 images, and test images are 20 images. This system could classificating PE goat face with success rate of 95% and 1 error from 20 testing images. Error occured because the background was detected as black and image taking that not precise.

Abstract

The development of communication technology in Indonesia is currently growing, one of which is cellular telecommunications technology. Cellular communication technology developed from the first generation to the present time has entered the 4th generation known as 4G LTE. The writing of this final project discusses the analysis and optimization of the 4G LTE network of Telkomsel seluer operators in Jombang, East Java. Measurements were made using the drive test method to test the 4G LTE network in the inner area of Jombang district. This testing is done to check the network in the inner area whether it is optimal in providing network to customers. This drive test uses a nemo handy device and to analyze drive test results using a nemo analyzer. The results measured when doing a drive test are RSRP, SNR, and throughput parameters. The results of the RSRP parameter get 95% of the total sample RSRP values -100 dBm to 0 dBm. The SNR parameter gets 94% of the total sample which has a value of 0 dB to 25 dB. The throughput parameter gets 95% of the total sample value above 1Mbps. After a drive test and analysis there are 4 areas that need to be optimized because in terms of quality or SNR and the data speed or throughput is below the standards applied by the operator.

Abstract

In Pirak Mertosutan Hamlet, Sleman, Yogyakarta, there is a goat farm complex with about 600 m2. The intricate lighting comes from the National Electricity Company (PLN) and the Solar Home System (SHS). SHS is the primary energy source for lighting, while PLN is a secondary energy source that replaces it when the power supply from SHS goes out. So far, the transfer from SHS to PLN has been carried out by humans. This fact is considered inefficient because the SHS supply does not always die during the day. At night, the officers who move the difficulties have to go to the cage complex located relatively far from residential areas. To facilitate the transfer of energy sources from SHS to PLN and vice versa. It does not need to be done by officers. It is necessary to automatically install a means to automatically move the two sources automatically. This tool is the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). This tool can move the energy supply from SHS to PLN and vice versa. By considering the specifications used in the SHS in the farm complex, the ATS is made and then installed in the farm complex. After the installation is carried out, the functional test is carried out. The ATS installation test results show that the ATS can work according to the design; namely, when the SHS is off, the source used is automatically switched to PLN. When the SHS is on, the source that was using PLN will automatically switch to SHS.

Abstract

Train is one of transportation which supports the mobilization of society. Futhermore, it is affordable and comfortable so that people prefer using it. One of trains which is usually used by many people is KRDE or electric diesel railway, which is an innovation of technology in PT. INKA based on railway industry. It is one of railway that need electricity as the main source of energy that comes from alternator. it will handle all power of load needs on KRDE like as propulsion and auxiliary load. Therefore, the fluency of KRDE is affected by electrical system of the railway, which is mostly affected by propulsion load because it needs bigger power than auxiliary load. In this research presents about losses calculation on KRDE that are Three- phase rectifier, Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF) inverter and Three phase induction motor. Three phase rectifier and VVVF inverter will simulated by PSIM software to understand how the circuit work. The results of this research are explain about the number of loss energy in three phase rectifier is 21,6 Watt. In VVVF inverter and three induction motor, there are five samples. From analysis of the samples result that VVVF inverter has the highest efficiency 95,53% with loss energy 19,992 KW, which on 645 Volt about output voltage and 90 Hz about output frequency. In three phase induction motor, 91, 426% is the highest efficiency and it has 18,211 KW at loss energy, which on 635 Volt about input voltage and 36,38 Hz about input frequency. Then, the highest efficiency of propulsion system is 94,59% and 53,38 KW about loss energy, which on 635 Volt about input voltage and 36,38 Hz about input frequency in induction motor.

Abstract

Insulation of the transformer is one of the essential components. So that the quality of the resistance in the isolation of the transformer is essential to note the condition, in order to find out the condition of the transformer isolation, several tests must be performed, namely the polarization index, delta tangent, and break down voltage. In this study, all three tests were carried out on Transformer 1 in the 150 kV Bantul substation. Polarization index testing itself is testing the leakage current on the transformer isolation by comparing the test results for 1 minute with the results of the 10-minute drive test. While delta tangent is testing capacitive leakage current in the isolation transformer, and break down voltage is a test of the ability of the breakdown voltage in transformer insulation oil. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the value of the transformer polarization index in 2016 and 2018, the average value between the windings has been in the rating of 1.25-2.0. As for the delta tangent test results in 2016 and 2018, the value between the capacitive parts is already in the rating of 0.18% -0.36%. For the breakdown voltage test results in 2016 and 2018, the average breakdown voltage value is 43.9 kV/mm - 65.5 kV/mm. From these data, it can be concluded that the transformer isolation conditions in 2016 and 2018 are in good condition, although there was a decline in the transformer isolation conditions in 2016. However, the National Electric Company has made repairs and maintenance of the isolation transformer. This is seen due to an increase in the quality of transformer insulation in 2018. Repair and maintenance of transformer insulation are done to maximize the work system and the life of the transformer.

Abstract

Digital mapping has become a valuable tool for managing and visualizing geographical information. In this context, this community service aims to create a digital map using WebGIS in Mrisi Hamlet. Mrisi requires accurate and efficient mapping of population data to optimize data collection methods. This is to make decisions related to regional development, and map resources such as UMKM. This activity method involves collecting spatial and attribute data through field surveys, remote sensing, and relevant secondary data sources. The data obtained is then processed and compiled into a web-based geographical information system. In developing digital maps, WebGIS was chosen because it provides easy accessibility, interactive data visualization, and the ability to share geographical information with other users. This activity results in a digital map that includes various relevant information about Mrisi Hamlet. The map includes area boundaries, infrastructure, land use, public facilities location, and other related information. These digital maps are internet-based access and use decision-making by local governments, communities, and other related parties.
