Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role model of achievement-based Islamic education management. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative conducted at Islamic Secondary School at Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The results of the research show that achievement-based management conducted by Islamic Secondary School at Kendari is divided into four stages. First, the planning stage by determining achievement targets, namely planning the activities to be carried out, looking at the race event, determining the coaching strategy and grouping students. Second, the stage of achievement-based student recruitment is the restriction of student quotas every year, special achievement pathways, academic tests, personality/ psychological tests and health tests. The stage of implementation of performance-based development through the construction of academic and non-academic fields as well as religious construction. The last stage is an achievement-based evaluation conducted via online, live review, parenting and PESONA (Week of Arts, Olympics and Sports) at the end of the year. Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze the influence of occupational stress on the workmanship of employees of IAIN Kendari.This research uses a quantitative approach through causal research. The population of this research is all of IAIN Kendari employees. The total population in this study was 123 people consisting of officers and lecturers who had additional administrative tasks ranging from rectorate level to study program. Determination of the number of samples in this study using the Slovin formula. From the results of the calculation obtained a sample amount of 94 peoples. The results showed that there was a negative impact on work stress on the productivity of IAIN Kendari employees with a coefficient of determination of-0.182 or had an influence of 18.2%. This gives the meaning that working stress will negatively affect the working productivity of IAIN Kendari employees. The results of this research implicates the leadership of IAIN Kendari if they want to increase employee productivity in the form of targets achieved, accuracy of completing work, quality of work, and efficiency of resource utilization by employees can is done by the work of working stress at the employee's level of individuals, groups, and organizations.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study aims to investigate the implementation of digital literacy during Covid-19 through Sapulidi program at one of high schools in Southeast Sulawesi. Data were garnered through observation, interviews, and documentation from the principal, the head of school literacy team, and members of the Sapulidi team. The findings show that the implementation of digital literacy at the school was carried out in three stages: a) increasing the capacity of facilitators through training for school residents, b) increasing the number and variety of learning resources through the provision of QR code-based digital books on library websites and the use of learning applications, and c) providing computer and internet access in schools and providing digital information through school websites, libraries, and QR codes in the school environment. The forms of QR codes used in the Sapulidi program include the use of in learning, on school plants, on trophy displays, in students' works at school, school literacy galleries, in literacy corners in classroom, and in digital books.KEYWORDS: Covid-19; digital literacy program; high school; QR code

Abstract

This study explored two main issues, (1) the extent of resilience in academic achievement among university students amidst Covid-19 socio-economic restriction policies, and (2) the map of the students' coping abilities to deal with uncertain situations. An 8-item Academic Success Inventory indicated academic achievement for College Students (ASICS) scale, the resilience level was measured by the 25-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CDRS) and the coping abilities were mapped using the 21-item Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations (CISC-21). The focus group discussion (FGD) and peer interviews were later used to confirm the results of the scales. 263 respondents passed the inclusion criteria with different demographic backgrounds, including affiliations, economic status, and study assistance. The results dictated that according to 8-item ASICS scale, the mean score was 3,81 which means impressive. Concerning the resilience level, 25-item CDRS unveiled the mean score of 4,08 which means highly resilient. The 21-item CISC noted 3,8 of the mean score, which means good. Regarding the mapping of respondents' coping abilities, emotion-oriented coping category was more dominant. This study suggests the need for a special task force to locate, list, and facilitate students who struggled to meet academic and economic demands due to the global pandemic.

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to describe the implementation of aqidah moral learning and find out the supporting and inhibiting factors that arise in the implementation of akidah moral learning in the city of Kendari. The type of research used is a qualitative case study. Data collection carried out is observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of akidah akhlak learning refers to the 2013 curriculum. The process of implementing akidah akhlak learning includes preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. In preparatory activities, the teacher prepares students mentally and physically and provides motivation and awareness by explaining the importance of the material, learning objectives, and learning procedures. The core activities include the process of exploration, refinement (elaboration), and confirmation. In closing activities the teacher and students together conclude the subject matter, and give assignments to students. The learning method applied is the lecture, question and answer, discussion and assignment methods which are adapted to the methods contained in the teacher's lesson plan and adapted to the material being taught, as well as carrying out learning evaluations in the form of daily tests. Factors that support the implementation of learning Aqidah Akhlak are teachers mastering the material and understanding student personalities to facilitate the learning process. Apart from that, it is also supported by the existence of dormitories so that all students are more controlled because all students are in dormitories and coupled with Islamic boarding school activities. The inhibiting factors are inadequate facilities and inadequate learning resources plus students are prohibited from bringing cellphones as well as students themselves who have family and educational backgrounds so that discipline is needed so that students can understand what is conveyed. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran akidah akhlak dan mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung serta penghambat yang muncul dalam implementasi pembelajaran akidah akhlak di kota Kendari. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam implementasi pembelajaran akidah akhlak mengacu pada kurikulum 2013. Proses implementasi pembelajaran akidah akhlak meliputi kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Dalam kegiatan persiapan, guru mempersiapkan siswa secara mental dan fisik serta memberikan motivasi dan kesadaran dengan menjelaskan pentingnya materi, tujuan pembelajaran, dan prosedur pembelajaran. Kegiatan inti meliputi proses eksplorasi, penyempurnaan (elaborasi), dan konfirmasi. Pada kegiatan penutup guru dan siswa bersama-sama menyimpulkan materi pelajaran, dan memberikan tugas kepada siswa. Metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan yaitu metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan penugasan yang disesuaikan dengan metode yang ada dalam RPP guru dan disesuaikan dengan materi yang diajarkan, serta terlaksananya evaluasi pembelajaran dalam bentuk ulangan harian. Faktor yang mendukung terselenggaranya pembelajaran akidah akhlak adalah guru menguasai materi dan memahami kepribadian siswa untuk memudahkan proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, juga didukung dengan adanya asrama sehingga seluruh siswa lebih terkontrol karena seluruh siswa di asramakan dan ditambah dengan adanya kegiatan-kegiatan pondok pesantren. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah fasilitas yang kurang memadai, dan sumber belajar yang belum memadai ditambah para siswa dilarang membawa handphone serta siswa sendiri yang mempunyai latar belakang keluarga dan pendidikan yang sehingga kete;adanan sangat diperlukan agar siswa dapat memahami apa yang disampaikan.

Abstract

Although a growing body of research examines Hybrid Learning, little attention has been paid to analyzing the students’ perceptions toward implementing the TPACK framework as an instructional reference in hybrid EFL classroom settings. To fill this void, this research intended to explore the EFL students’ perceptions regarding implementing TPACK in hybrid EFL classrooms in the context of a private Islamic senior high school. The study used a quantitative approach adopting a survey method with an online distributed form. Data were collected through a survey questionnaire, and semi-structured open-ended questions were descriptively analyzed and thematically coded. The TPACK survey revealed 77.8% of the respondents agreed that the EFL teacher had successfully integrated technology into practice. However, with 54.58% valid responses in the open-ended data, the EFL teacher implemented technological adaptation to facilitate classroom meetings by alternating to virtual modes but failed to explore and recognize the individual EFL learning needs of the students. The study concluded that the respondents’ perception toward implementing TPACK in hybrid learning was positive in that it granted easy access to classroom documents and resources, supported multiple modes of material delivery, valued connectivity and interactivity, and provided flexible scheduling. This study addressed some issues regarding the advantages and disadvantages of a technology-equipped classroom in a hybrid context. The issues foretell the EFL teachers never to limit their attention to physical preparations and necessities.
