Abstract

This article explains the learning of memorizing the Koran by the Tawazun Method in the Daarul Huffadz Indonesian Boarding School, Sentul Branch. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach. The data collection method consists of interviews and document studies. The results showed that learning to memorize the Koran with the Tawazun Method consists of the process of reading, understanding, imagining, memorizing, and depositing. These activities train the intelligence of the right brain and left brain in a balanced and optimal way. This method proved useful in facilitating students in memorizing the Koran; gain an understanding of the Qur'an; strengthen and maintain memorization; foster motivation to memorize and create intensive relations between students and the Koran. The implementation of the Tahfidz method also contributes positively to the improvement of personal self-esteem which is characterized by an increase in feelings of happiness, the ability to face challenges, overcome problems, and motivate him; and good self-acceptance by the environment and good relations with other individuals or groups.

Abstract

The PAI micro teaching course contains competencies that enable students to empower and implement teacher competencies, including personal, social, pedagogical and professional competencies. This research focuses on developing social skills assessment instruments because: first, the values ​​of social skills are one of the main assets for Islamic Education teacher candidates to interact with the social environment, the second teacher is someone who gives empathy and cares for students. This research aims to describe the steps for developing a social skills assessment instrument and testing the content validity. The research method used the Borg and Gall development model. The process of content validity qualitatively uses peer assessments from PAI lecturers. The process of content validity quantitatively uses the Aikens Index, and the reliability between raters uses the intraclass correlations coefficient. The results of the research describe: first the process and results of content validity qualitatively include suggestions from validators, the second is content validity quantitatively, include the validity and reliability scores.The results of the research are expected: social skills instruments are one of the tools to empower and develop social skills of PAI teacher candidates in learning activities and daily life.

Abstract

The research aims to develop an attitude assesment model using online media. According to primary reseach by several Madrasah Ibtidaiyah YURJA teachers, conclude that they had difficult to assesment at social attitude because used online learning methods. Based on the research bakcground, needs to the develop a social attitude assesment model using online aplication, as an alternative assesment during the covid 19 pandemic. The research methode is literature review and development research, data collection techniques are questionnaries and documentation studies. The result is research is to describe the difficulties of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in assessing social attitudes, describe the types of social attitudes relevant to 21st century skills, and describe the steps to implement a social attitude assesment instrument trough online aplicaton, such as slido and video.

Abstract

Concrete is the most important part of a construction building. The purpose of this study was to examine how the comparison of physical and mechanical properties and optimum levels of the addition of straight tie wire as an added material with a water-cement ratio of 0.4. The percentage of addition of straight tie wire: 0%, 0.5%, 0.75%, 1.0%, of the total weight of the specimen with a tie-wire length of 8 cm. The test specimens for compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, and split tensile are in the form of a cylinder with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm, and the specimen for flexural strength is a block with a length of 50 cm, a width of 10 cm and a height of 10 cm. The results show that the maximum compressive strength test on tie wire occurred at a percentage of 0.75% of 16.56 MPa. The maximum modulus of elasticity in tie wire occurred at a percentage of 0.75% of 15184.56 MPa. The maximum split tensile strength of tie wire occurred in a percentage of 0.75% of 1.165 MPa, and the maximum flexural strength of tie wire occurs at a percentage of 0.75% of 1.950 MPa. The research results concluded that the addition of a straight tie-wire to the concrete mixture could increase the compressive strength, split tensile strength, tensile strength, and elastic modulus of concrete.
