Abstract

This research aims to describe the critical thinking skills of students using the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model combined with Think Talk Write strategies on cube and block material. This research was conducted at Xaverius Junior High School Lubuklinggau grade VIII of the 2016/2017 academic year in the even semester. Before carrying out the research, the test questions were first tested to see validity, reliability, differentiation and the level of difficulty of the questions. Of the 5 questions tested, all the questions are valid with a moderate reliable level. The learning process uses the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model combined with the Think Talk Write strategy. The data collection technique uses a test of 5 questions which refers to the indicators of students' critical thinking abilities. Based on the results of the study, the results of students' critical thinking skills in the cube and block material grade VIII of Xaverius Junior High School Lubuklinggau in the academic year 2016/2017 with an average score of 89.53 included in the excellent category. The percentage of each indicator can be seen that: the indicator interprets as much as 69.44%, the analyzing indicator gets a percentage of 92.59% in the very good category. The evaluation indicator shows that the percentage of 99.07% is in the very good category. In the last indicator, which is input, the percentage of 96.53% is in the excellent category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the completeness of the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of Selangit State Middle School 2017/2018 Academic Year after the Learning Model Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) was applied. The type of research used is in the form of a quasi experiment. The population is all eighth grade students of Selangit Public Middle School, consisting of 126 students and as a sample are students of class VIII.4 consisting of 30 students. Data collection is done by test techniques, test data collected is analyzed using t-test. Based on the t-test analysis with a significant level of α = 0.05, tcount> ttable (2,821)> (1,699) was obtained, so it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students after VIII Selangit Public Middle School after the implementation of the learning model Auditory, Intellectually, Repitition (AIR ) significant completion with the average test scores before the implementation of the learning model Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) 22.15 and after 73.94 before the implementation of the learning model Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR).

Abstract

This reseacrh aims to determine the effect of the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model on the ability to think cretaively in mathematics in class VIII junior high school students in the estuary of students in the estuary of 2018/2019 academic year two-variable linearequation system (SPLDV). Jenis type of research used is true experimental design in the form of Pre-test and Post-test design. The population used was all students of class VIII of Muara Beliti state junior high school, consistingof 295 students and as a sample was class VIII.6 with 30 students as dick classes and VIII.8 with 31 students as experimental classes. The data collection was carried out using a test technique in the form of four essay questions with a maximum score of 20. Based on the resultd of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the students creative mathematical thinking ability were obtained then is rejected and is accepted, it means that the average score of students cerative thinking ability using the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model is more than the average score of students creative thinking ability using conventional learning, namely in the experimental class at 12.97 and in the control class at 5.47.

Abstract

Abstract

This research is based on a bibliometric analysis of publications on math anxiety. It aims to analyze the distribution of the results of publications on math anxiety in the last ten years based on research trends and topics, reputable journals, influential authors, institutions, and productive countries. Scopus was used as a data collection database and was analyzed using the VOSviewer and Biblioshiny tools. The workflow carried out in this research consists of research design, data collection, data analysis, data visualization, and data interpretation. Three hundred twenty-one articles published from 2013 to 2023 were retrieved and read carefully. The results of the analysis show that many research studies on mathematics anxiety have been carried out in mathematics education, and this theme influences mathematics learning. The Journal Frontiers in Psychology is at the top, and the University of Barcelona is the most influential institution. The United States has significant relevance in this field. The results of this research also provide researchers with insight into the extent to which this field has been studied, and they can explore various alternatives to this major based on research trends and influential articles.
