Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials use Approach of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics (PMRI) on Cube and cuboid material for grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Lubuklinggau and to know the quality of teaching material is seen from the aspect of validity and practicability. RME or in Indonesia is better known by PMRI is a learning approach mathematics oriented to everyday life close to the world of students, it aims to make it easier for students to understand problems and solve mathematical problems. This research is development research with the development model of ADDIE ( Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). phase analysis includes student needs analysis and curriculum analysis, the design phase includes the preparation of the map needs of teaching materials, the establishment of teaching materials structure and the making of research instruments. Development phase includes the preparation of teaching materials and validation of teaching materials on the expert, the implementation phase includes teaching experiments on 3 students (one to one), small group (small group) and field test. The evaluation phase includes the assessment of teaching materials by teachers and students. The research used Approach of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics (PMRI) on cube and cuboid material, the result of research showed that (1) the quality of teaching material is seen from aspect of validity and practicality included in criterion either based on four expert lecturer (Expert Content / Mathematics, Media Expert and Expert Language).Keywords: PMRI, Cube, Cuboid, ADDIE

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kesalahan, faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahan serta solusi kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi program linear. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan langkah-langkah: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa yaitu kesalahan konseptual (57%), kesalahan prosedural (62%), dan kesalahan komputasi (73%). Berdasarkan hasil wawancara penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan yaitu: Siswa tidak paham dengan maksud soal, siswa kurang cermat dan teliti dalam membaca soal, siswa kurang percaya diri dalam menjawab soal, siswa kurang memahami konsep dari program linear, siswa terburu-buru dalam menyelesaikan soal, dan siswa tidak terbiasa membuat kesimpulan akhir jawaban.Kata Kunci: analisis kesalahan, soal cerita, program linear.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out what types of errors and factors cause students to make mistakes in solving the arithmetic sequence and sequence material for class XI MIA SMA Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in research using observation, interviews and documents. Data analysis procedure with the steps: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that there were errors made by students of class XI MIA SMA Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau in solving story questions about arithmetic sequences and series, namely: errors in understanding questions (49.99%), question transformation (50%), operation process (79.16 %) and writing the final answer (88.89%). The overall average error is (67.01%) with the high category. Based on the results of the interview the causes of students made mistakes, namely: students forgot and were unable to write information into mathematical symbols, did not know the formulas that should be used in the questions, were in a hurry because time was running out, were not careful, were mistaken in writing the operation signs, did not know which steps were must be done, forgetting to write down conclusions, and consider the final answer only to get the value that is sought. Abstract

This study aims to develop the worksheet based Learning Model Missouri Mathematics Project using Think Talk Write Strategy on cube and cuboid material, and to find out the quality of the worksheet developed in terms of validity and practicality. Subjects in this study are students of class VIII SMP N 11 Lubuklinggau in the even semester of the 2018/2019 school year. This research is a development research that refers to the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Based on the analysis results, it was found that the quality of worksheets developed was based on the assessment of 3 validators, the validity aspect was in the Good category with an average score of 3.99, while the quality of worksheets from the practical aspect was in the Very Practical category with an average score of 0.903.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS)-Heuristik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VIII SMP L Sidoharjo. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Apakah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP L Sidoharjo setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik dikategorikan baik? (2) Bagaimana respon siswa kelas VIII SMP L. Sidoharjo setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik? (3) Bagaimana aktivitas siswa kelas VIII SMP L Sidoharjo pada saat proses pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik?. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP L Sidoharjo sebanyak 210 siswa dengan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII.2 berjumlah 33 siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes, angket dan lembar observasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan “(1) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dikategorikan baik dengan rata-rata 73,11. (2) Respon siswa dikategorikan baik dengan rata-rata 76,89%. (3) Aktivitas siswa dikategorikan aktif dengan rata-rata 60,17%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether there is an effect of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of class XI students of senior high school in Lubuklinggau. Type of research was true experimental design, which is an experiment that is considered to be good because it meets the requirements in the experiment, namely the presence of other groups that have not experienced the experiment observed so that changes that occur between before the research and after the research are really visible. As the population is all students of class XI of senior high school in Lubuklinggau consisting of 131 students and the sample of the experimental class is class XI.MIA.2, and as the control class is class XI.MIA.1, both classes are selected at random. Data collection was carried out using test techniques, namely pre-test and post-test. Then the data collected was analyzed using a t-test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an effect of the 5E Learning Cycle model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of class XI students of senior high school in Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

This research aims to produce authentic assessment instruments in mathematics learning materials plan geometry class VII in terms of aspects of validity and practicality as well as to determine the potential effect. This study uses research development methods (development research) type of formative research involving 32 seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 24 Palembang. In this study a series of instruction developed through several stages of self evaluation, expert reviews and one-to-one, small group, and field tests. This research produces authentic assessment on the material properties of the material, the circumference and area of a rectangle. This study includes a series of learning consists of two activities on properties and circumference & area of a rectangle. The results of the development of authentic assessment instruments shows that with them knowing that they are assessed by three aspects (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) students are very enthusiastic to learn, able to work on the problems with a good, brave respond and put forward the idea of both written and verbal are associated with a square long.

Abstract

This research aims to develop worksheets to facilitate the ability to understand mathematical concepts in the material of one-variable linear equations, to determine the quality of worksheets developed in terms of validity and practicality, and to understand the ability to understand mathematical concepts after the use of LKS in one variable. The subjects were seventh grade students of Lubuklinggau 7th Junior High School. A development research that refers to the 4-D development model. In the Design phase includes: preparation of instruments consisting of validity LKS sheet, practicality assessment sheet LKS and test instruments for understanding mathematical concepts. Furthermore, the format selection consists of compiling the framework and systematic preparation of LKS, so that the prototype LKS is formed 1. Develop phase, the LKS is validated by mathematicians and experts, suggestions and comments from the validator are used as references in revising the LKS, thus producing a prototype 2. Next is LKS was tested in a small group and produced a prototype 3, then tested on a large group. The last stage is Disseminate, LKS products are distributed to class VII math teachers, principals, and grade VIII mathematics teachers. The quality of LKS developed based on the validity aspects is in the Good category with an average score of 4.0, while the quality of the LKS from the practical aspect is in the Excellent category with an average score of 0.84. In the test the ability to understand mathematical concepts is in the Good category with an average value of 80,966

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS Berbasis Mind Mapping yang berorientasi pada berpikir Tingkat Tinggi siswa kelas VIII yang valid dan praktis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research & Development (R&D). Perancangan pengembangan LKS ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yaitu Tahap Define yang terdiri dari analisis masalah, analisis siswa, analisis tugas, analisis konsep, dan analisis tujuan pembelajaran. Tahap Desain yang meliputi persiapan instrumen, pemilihan format, dan desain awal produk. Pengembangan terdiri dari validasi LKS, One to One, Small Group, dan Field Test. Menyebarkan. Dari hasil penelitian dan analisis data,diketahui bahwa LKS Berbasis Mind Mapping berorientasi pada Higher Order Thinking Skills berada pada kategori Valid dengan skor rata-rata 3,92. Dimana untuk aspek tampilan skor rata-rata 4,75 dan berada pada kategori praktis, pada aspek penyajian materi skor rata-rata 4,14 dan berada pada kategori praktis, sedangkan untuk aspek manfaat skor rata-rata 4,21 dan termasuk dalam kategori praktis Secara keseluruhan, Terkunci bahwa LKPD berbasis Mind Mapping yang berorientasi pada Higher Order Thinking Skills yang dikembangkan sangat praktis dengan skor rata-rata 4,37. Sehingga produk akhir yang dikembangkan dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika.pada aspek penyajian materi nilai rata-rata 4,14 dan termasuk dalam kategori praktis, sedangkan untuk aspek manfaat nilai rata-rata 4,21 dan berada pada kategori praktis. Secara keseluruhan, disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Mind Mapping berorientasi pada Higher Order Thinking Skills yang dikembangkan sangat praktis dengan skor rata-rata 4,37.
