Abstract

Preliminary numeracy skills are very important to develop from early childhood. This ability is needed in everyday life, especially the concept of numbers which is also the basis for developing mathematical skills. The development of preliminary numeracy skills in early childhood must be done through fun play activities and using interesting educational play tools. However, the lack of availability of educational play tools plus limited financial capacity is still an urgent problem for almost all early childhood education institutions. This condition is exacerbated by the fact that many early childhood education teachers are not creative because of their limited knowledge and experience in providing educational game tools independently by utilizing existing tools and materials. A similar condition is experienced by teachers who are members of the cluster work center organization Ca Nai Cibal. This training activity aims to add insight and increase the creativity of early childhood education teachers in the cluster work center organization Ca Nai Cibal in making an appropriate educational play tools, especially for the development of preliminary numeracy skills. The methods used are: a) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to explore the experiences of teachers regarding the overall picture of learning activities that have been taking place in their respective institutions, b) lectures are used to introduce the concept of the importance of APE for stimulating early childhood student cognitive development and use of educational play tools in supporting the optimization of the development of preliminary numeracy skills. c) performance/ performance of making various educational play tools using a variety of used goods that have been prepared. The results of the activities carried out, the teachers gained knowledge and skills about the function of educational play tools and their use in developing the cognitive aspects of early childhood, gained new knowledge and skills about the benefits of used household goods in making simple educational play tools, and were able to produce educational play tools, both by imitating and based on their own ideas. -Each by using used goods, such as: cardboard, plastic bottle caps, egg boards and others.

Abstract

This service activity aims to provide assistance to the PAUD Santa Fransiska Asisi unit in compiling the KTSP document because the managers and teachers of the PAUD Santa Fransiska Asisi do not understand and have sufficient competence in compiling the KTSP document. The method used in this service activity is discussion and mentoring. The partners of this service activity are the managers and teachers of PAUD Santa Fransiska Assisi, totaling 3 people. The activity stages consist of (1) Studying the KTSP document; (2) Conduct discussions and assist the preparation of the PAUD KTSP document, (3) Observe the progress of the PAUD KTSP document preparation. The results of the service activities show that the managers and teachers of PAUD Santa Fransiska Assisi are able to prepare their own KTSP and produce a final KTSP document.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the intercorrelation between various components of early childhood education (PAUD) quality. The PAUD quality components were reviewed based on the 8 National PAUD Standards (SNP-AUD). The study was conducted on 43 PAUD institutions in the districts of Manggarai, West Manggarai, and East Manggarai. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 50 questions that covered various scopes of SNP-AUD. Each question's response was measured on a Likert scale and accompanied by a description of each level based on the substance of the instrument's statement. Data were analyzed using Path Analysis techniques. The study's results showed that the Teacher and Education Personnel standard was a significant determinant factor in determining children's growth and development, with a determinant coefficient of 83.7%. However, this factor's determination was not direct but through its correlation with other factors within the process component. Therefore, efforts to improve PAUD teacher qualifications, competencies, and quality need to be done simultaneously and comprehensively with various aspects that determine PAUD process quality, such as improving the ability to develop and design a contextual curriculum, improving pedagogical abilities and learning strategies, as well as improving the ability to accurately and meaningfully assess children's development.

Abstract

This study measured intrarater reliability between assessors of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) unit accreditation in the East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT), Indonesia. In the 2022 PAUD unit accreditation assessment, 50 institutions across 15 districts in the NTT Province were sampled. The intrarater reliability testing technique used was the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC). The results showed good agreement between Assessor A and Assessor B, with the ICC coefficient in the 2022 PAUD unit accreditation assessment in the NTT Province being relatively high with an estimated ICC of 0.644. However, the ICC coefficient between Assessor A and Validator, as well as between Assessor B and Validator, was in the moderate category with a moderate level of agreement. In addition, the study found a small effect size, indicating that subjective factors such as assessors' backgrounds and accreditation experience had a very small correlation with accreditation scores. Therefore, efforts should be made to improve agreement between Assessor A and Validator as well as between Assessor B and Validator to improve intrarater reliability in the PAUD unit accreditation assessment in the NTT Province.Penelitian ini mengukur reliabilitas intrarater antara asesor akreditasi satuan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Dalam penilaian akreditasi satuan PAUD tahun 2022, 50 lembaga yang tersebar di 15 kabupaten di Provinsi NTT dijadikan sebagai sampel. Teknik pengujian reliabilitas intrarater yang digunakan adalah teknik intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kesepahaman yang baik antara Asesor A dan Asesor B, dengan koefisien ICC dalam penilaian akreditasi satuan PAUD tahun 2022 di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur tergolong tinggi dengan besaran estimasi ICC 0,644. Namun, koefisien ICC antara Asesor A dengan Validator maupun antara Asesor B dengan Validator berada pada kategori sedang dengan tingkat kesepakatan yang moderat. Selain itu, dalam penelitian ini diperoleh nilai effect size yang kecil. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor subyektif asesor seperti lingkungan asal maupun pengalaman melakukan akreditasi berkorelasi sangat kecil terhadap skor akreditasi. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya-upaya untuk meningkatkan kesepakatan antara Asesor A dan Validator serta antara Asesor B dan Validator guna meningkatkan reliabilitas intrarater dalam penilaian akreditasi satuan PAUD di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur.Kata Kunci:  Reliabilitas intrarater; Akreditasi; Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Sekarang ini kita berada dalam situasi dimana kesehatan menjadi sangat penting. Hal ini disebabkan karena virus severe acute respiratory syndrome-corona virus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) sedang merajalela. Telah ditemukannya varian baru dari virus ini yakni Omicron yang diyakini memiliki penyebaran yang sangat cepat. Oleh karena itu kita diminta untuk tetap waspada serta terus membiasakan diri untuk selalu menjaga pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola hidup bersih dan sehat pada anak usia dini selama masa pandemic covid 19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua anak usia dini di kelompok Santa Agnes Kelurahan Pitak. Untuk memperoleh data maka digunakan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik kualitatif deskriptif dengan langkah-langkah: reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulkan serta verifikasi data. Dalam mengenalkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat pada anak usia dini orang tua sangat berperan penting. Pola hidup bersih dan sehat pada anak usia dini dikenalkan melalui beberapa cara yakni: Pembiasaan Perilaku Buang Air Besar dan Buang Air Kecil Di Jamban, Pembiasaan Mencuci Tangan Pakai Sabun, dan Pembiasaan Untuk Makan Makanan yang Sehat serta Higienis.
