Abstract

The production of water spinach vegetable crops in 2020 in Central Java ranks 2nd in water spinach production, which is 29,108 tons. The amount of water in spinach production and the increased risk of being attacked by pests and diseases will be even more significant, and proper care is needed to improve the quality of water spinach. It takes an expert to convey knowledge about controlling pests and diseases that are good and right. From these problems, we developed a system to overcome the problem of water spinach plant disease. This expert system uses the forward chaining method. The results of this study are a pest and disease diagnosis system on water spinach using a website-based forward chaining method with accuracy testing using the confusion matrix method by testing 50 rules. Of 50 data, 45 are considered appropriate, and the results of 5 rules are not relevant, so the evaluation results of this expert system produce system accuracy with a percentage of 90%.

Abstract

The human fall motion prediction system is a preventive tool aimed at reducing the risk of falls. In our research, we developed a deep learning model that utilizes pose estimation to track human body posture and integrated this with a Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) to forecast human motion and predict falls. GRU, an enhancement of Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models offers improved memorization and more efficient memory usage and performance. Our study presents the human fall motion prediction, which combines the forecasting and classification of potential falls. The CAUCAFall dataset is used as the benchmark of this study, which contains the image sequences of single human motion with ten actions conducted by ten actors. We employed the YOLOv8 Pose model to track the 2D human body pose as the input in our system. A thorough evaluation of the CAUCAFall dataset highlights the effectiveness of our proposed system. Evaluation using the CAUCAFall dataset demonstrates that the model achieved a Mean Per Joint Position Error (MPJPE) of 4.65 pixels from the ground truth, with a 70% accuracy rate in fall prediction. However, the model also exhibited a Mean Relative Error (MRE) of 0.3, indicating that 30% of the predictions were incorrect. These findings underscore the potential of the GRU-based system in fall prevention

Abstract

Abstract Finance is something that must be thought about from a broader perspective. A low level of financial literacy can result in individuals making financial decisions using only speculation, not according to financial analysis sourced from historical data. If the decision taken turns out to be wrong or inappropriate, it will have an impact on financial health in the future. This statement can be overcome by using several financial management applications that provide features to view historical financial expenses and income in a certain period, one of which is the Sepran application: Expenses Manager. However, this Sepran application still has several shortcomings, such as not being able to connect to an e-wallet so that it can only be input manually, the font size and some icons that still look small, and the colours used in expenses. From these problems, a redesign of the Sepran application will be carried out using the design thinking method approach and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the success rate of the designed interface. Design thinking has 5 stages, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The first stage, empathize, is the stage of extracting problems. Define is the stage of defining problems, and ideate is the stage of determining ideas from problems that have been defined at the ideate stage. Furthermore, the prototype is a stage where ideas that have been determined at the ideate stage are implemented into low- and high-fidelity designs. The last is the test stage, where this stage will test using SUS through a prototype to get feedback and find out whether the design objectives have been achieved. The purpose of this research is to redesign the Sepran application to meet user needs and analyze the success rate of the interface using SUS. The results obtained an average score of 93.25 and a grade of A. This score indicates that the redesign of the Sepran application is in accordance with user needs.
