Abstract

Current technological developments also help in the ordering system. Simplifying the reservation system with information technology is one of the innovations made to help users of the room more easily in booking a room. The system designed consists of hardware and software connected to book a room based on, UID, usage time and to open the door of the room. Hardware includes Arduino Mega, NFC tags, NFC readers, relays, solenoids, buzzers, and LEDs. The software includes a Mysql website and database. The system will store user data, date, shift, length of usage and type of room booked by the user. NFC tags will be used by the customer to open the door to the room by getting closer to the NFC reader. This system aims to facilitate the process of borrowing space without having to undergo a convoluted process.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian terkait Face Recognition dengan menerapkan metode Eigenface sebagai pemicu untuk menyalakan starter mobil manual secara otomatis. Pada penelitian ini, terungkap bahwa Sistem pengenalan wajah yang dibuat memiliki tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 77% dari 13 kali pengujian pada keadaan intensitas cahaya bernilai 27 lux, dan 67% dari 15 kali pengujian pada keadaan intensitas cahaya bernilai 85 lux. Tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 75% pada keadaan sudut pencahayaan yang berbeda dengan keadaan pencahayaan data training dari 12 kali pengujian. Sistem mampu mengambil keputusan untuk wajah masukan yang tidak dikenali dengan benar dengan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 100% dari 12 kali pengujian, dan mampu mengenali wajah dengan jarak antara camera dengan penguji berkisar 80 cm – 130 cm

Abstract

This research aims to establish a reservation system or reservation schedule for health services in the health facility class one. This system uses qr code technology to identify health service schedule orders made by users. This system consists of a laptop webcam that functions as a device for reading data in QR codes, Arduino Uno microcontroller as a data processor for reading QR code results, an MP3 player module as a device for storing sound output, speakers functioning as sound output devices for reading QR codes and Android application as a system interface for ordering health service schedules in health facility class one and accessing databases. Ordering a health service schedule starts with the selection of the service schedule by the user on the android application, then the user will get a qr code as proof of the order made to identify the sequence that will later be read by the webcam laptop and the results processed by Arduino followed by the voice output from the speaker. This study shows the success rate of the system in making online schedule bookings by 100%. In the process of identifying the QR code using a webcam with bright lighting conditions it has a 100% success rate and with a reading range of 11-20 cm a 90% success rate is obtained. In testing, the sound output from the speakers obtained a success rate of 100%.

Abstract

Security is very important necessary for everyone, one of that security’s needed is the savety of valuables both publicly and more especially at home. Because many of thieves who come direcly to the house, the door was forced open, ande forgot to close the door, the thefs cases increased. Therefore the system can detect movement in front of the door using a PIR sensor design, gives a warning when the door is forced open and can open or close the door automatically. This research uses the Telegram Bot to send orders and receive notifications in the form of text or images. The PIR sensor will give notification when a movement is detected in front of the door, onece detectedit will turn on the LED light and take a picture of the movement, a warning from the system in the form of buzzer. It will also serve as a warning when the door is forced open. When the user enters the open command via Telegram Bot, the door will open and close by itself. The error of the tested system is 0%, all components can work as expected.

Abstract

This research aims to build a system that can maintain the security of the cage, give feed quail automatically and weigh the weight of the feed by the needs of quail based on the time of eating quail per day. The system consisted of several components, namely fingerprint, SW- 420, buzzer, LED, relay, Arduino Uno, solenoid key, servo, RTC, and Load cell. Access is restricted by examining the authentication through a fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor. If access is granted, then the cage door will open. Otherwise, the door remain close, and if the door is tampered with or opened by force, the SW-420 will automatically detect vibration on the door and turn on the buzzer as a notification. On the part feeding, a separate container-shaped tube as feed storage will be mounted to the motor servo, and the load cell as a tool weighing the weight of the feed is mounted on the container. The servo spin (open) duration is adjusted by the load cell when weighing the feed coming out of the servo with the amount of feed out by the requirements set out in the range of 14-16 gr/session time. Feed that has weighed on the container is ready to be consumed by the quail.

Abstract

In this study, the detection of falls in wheelchair users aims to make it easier for families to provide assistance when an injury occurs in a wheelchair so that the consequences can be minimized. In this study, the GY-521 sensor was used to detect the tilt of the wheelchair and a pulse sensor to detect the user's pulse. The output of the system in this study is a buzzer and sms notification. If the detected angle is > 25° (pitch angle) and > 30° (roll angle) then it is detected as a fall injury to the wheelchair. And if a small heart rate equals 60 and a large heart rate equals 100 it will be detected as an abnormal heartbeat. In this study, tests for fall detection were carried out on users who have different weights and for heart rate conditions, tests were also carried out when the wheelchair was used or not in use. So it can be concluded that the tilt angle of the wheelchair fall detection system is influenced by the weight of the wheelchair user.

Abstract

In today's all-digital era, all aspects of supporting human activities are required to make it easier for humans to support human mobility. One example is the scales that are demanded to be sophisticated to facilitate human work considering how busy the trading process is, especially in traditional markets, one example is rice scales which still use manual scales. So from the problems that occur in traditional markets about scales, the researchers will make digital rice scales.The result of this research is the construction of a digital weighing device with a microcontroller-based weight and price output using a weight sensor or load cell. This tool is equipped with 3 types of rice, namely ordinary rice, white glutinous rice, and black glutinous rice. Then it is also equipped with a feature to change the price of rice in the event of a price change. From the results of tests conducted by researchers, this tool functions well and is able to overcome the problems that have been experienced by traders.

Abstract

Cleaning and drying cocoa beans are generally done manually by farmers. The manual cleaning process takes a long time, and the pulp reduction is not optimal. In contrast, drying using sunlight takes a long time when it is done in the rainy season. This causes the cocoa beans to be moldy and have low sale value. In the equipment made by the factory, the two machines are made separately and are hardly affordable by the farmers. Based on these problems, a microcontroller-based cocoa bean dryer (de pulper) was designed with a single container so that both processes could be carried out using just one machine. To elaborate this system, cleaning is carried out on fermented cocoa beans that are pulp shed in a rotating cylinder. In comparison, the drying process is carried out by using a heat source, a soil moisture sensor to detect the moisture content of cocoa beans, a DS18B20 sensor to detect temperatures in the drying container, and a cylindrical container is rotated using an A.C. motor. Based on the experiment results, it takes 10 minutes to clean the cocoa beans from the pulp. The drying process takes 5 hours, 10 minutes, and 5 hours and 40 minutes to dry the cocoa beans to a maximum moisture content of 7%. A rotating drying container can speed up the drying process of cocoa beans compared to drying using sunlight in the rainy season.   The proposed tool in this study can carry out more efficient capacity better than the conventional tool.

Abstract

In this research, we propose a prototype to measure glucose index in human body after applying benedict reagen into urine samples. This system divides into two main components that are identification device and android smartphone. The identification device consists of TCS3200 colour sensor and a raspberry pi. The TCS3200 colour sensor's function is to predict the alteration of urine sample and determine the colour category according to the benedict rule and to measure the glucose in the sample. The Raspberry pi function is to process the data that acquired from the colour sensor. By optimizing with Tsukamoto Fuzzy Logic Control, the research successfully identifies the glucose by achieving 100% and the result of fuzzy logic control on Raspberry Pi as decision making by urine in 90% and by conflicting minimum error in 5.6%.
