Abstract

The partner of this service activity is the Teenagers of Al-Istikmal Mosque, East Pademawu Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency Pamekasan. The methods for implementing the activities are as follows: (1) conduct demonstration pre-test to become MC and (2) Lecture and question and answer (3) demonstration. Community service activities with the topic of training Madurese-language master of ceremonies for the Adolescent Mosque Youth Group in East Pademawu Village went smoothly and received good responses from all participants. The 23 participants participated in full training on schedule and most of them have been able to play Madurese master of ceremonies with good intonation, attitude, and appearance as well as MCs and having and growing supporting aspects as a Madurese master of ceremony . Abstract

Abstrak: Pengajaran Speaking (berbicara) sangatlah penting. Kenyataannya, banyak siswa mendapatkan masalah untuk berbicara bahasa Inggris dan mendapatkan motivasi belajar yang rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah board game dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa di kelas VIII MTs Nahdlatun Nasyin Kadur pamekasan dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara. Penelitian ini diklasifikasikan ke dalam tindakan kelas penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui penilaian, observasi, dan wawancara. Temuan penelitian ini telah menjawab pertanyaan penelitian, bahwa menggunakan permainan papan game (board games) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswadi MTs Nahdlatun Nasyiin Kadur Pamekasan. Board game (papan permainan) adalah bentuk permainan yang sangat menyenangkan sehingga bisa memberikan tanmbahan semangat untuk bisa berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan mudah dan cepat. Teknik ini sangat berguna untuk meningkatkan siswa keterampilan berbicara dan motivasi belajar. Kata kunci: Keterampilan, berbicara, papan permainan Abstract: Teaching Speaking is very important. In fact, many students have problems speaking English and getting low learning motivation. The purpose of this study is to test whether board games can improve the speaking skills of students in class VIII of MTs Nahdlatun Nasyin Kadur village and to find out the factors that influence improving speaking skills. This study was classified into research class actions. Data is collected through assessment, observation, and interviews. The findings of this study have answered the research question, that using board games can improve the speaking skills of students at MTs Nahdlatun Nasyiin Kadur Pamekasan. A board game is a form of play that is very fun so it can provide a lot of enthusiasm to be able to speak English easily and quickly. This technique is very useful for improving students' speaking skills and learning motivation. Keywords: Skills, Speaking, Board game

Abstract

The Madura University community service team chose the Nurul Iman Foundation. This foundation is located at RT. 7/ RW. 3 Lawangan Daya Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency, East Java Province. The reason for the election was because the Chairman of the Foundation had a strong commitment to improving the performance of its administrators. The author has coordinated with the Chair of the Foundation and expressed his willingness to be a partner in this activity. The method of implementing the service in order to implement the solution is carried out by; 1 strengthening and workshops, 2 introduction/strengthening of Human Resources for Foundations, 3 workshops on the method of formulating foundation management and the implementation of training and development of administrators. The results of this activity were concluded from the evaluation of participants' attendance and understanding that more than 70% were positive.

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia has hundreds of local languages, and Javanese and Madurese are parts of them. Jawa and Madura places where those two languages are belong to, are close. This is the reason those two languages influenced each other. These two languages have similar level of language in case of politeness. This study was aimed to answer the following question what the similarities and differences of surface structure in basic sentence between Javanese and Madurese are. This study was conducted in form of qualitative approaches, documents analysis. The data of this study is basic sentences which found in data source, and it must be comparable each other. The result of this study were Madurese and Javanese have similarities in their sentences pattern, while the differences could be found on In forming a question Javanese can be preceded by predicate but it is ended by word “a”. Whereas in Madurese, there is no any ending words to show that a sentence is an interrogative sentence. Keywords: contrastive analysis, surface structure, Javanese and Madurese

Abstract

In a society there is no uniformity of language, although in a monolingual language society (society uses only one language in all life activities). Thus it is clear that the language is not monolithic, not only in one form, but in various forms. Languages that are still within the scope of the same language system (langue) are called language variants. The phenomenon of language other than can be observed as a phenomenon of system or language structure can be observed as a social phenomenon. As a social phenomenon, the use of language in society is influenced by situational factors. In relation to the above matter in this study the researchers further study it through the title of research 'Jargon Madurese Language In Coastal Communities in Pamekasan District (A Linguistic Review)'.

Abstract

Pamekasan beach area is very varieties in forms of language. They used more than one various form. This jargon used to make simple when they speak or interact each other. Thus it is clear that the language is not monolithic, not only in one form, but in various forms. Languages that are still within the scope of the same language system (langue) are called language variants. The phenomenon of language other than can be observed as a phenomenon of system or language structure can be observed as a social phenomenon. As a social phenomenon, the use of language in society is influence for understanding in what they speak or what they purpose. In relation to the above matter in this study the researchers further study it through the title of research "Madura language Jargon in the beach area of pamekasan)". Descriptive qualitative method is the method of this research. Analyzing the data by describing the words or sentences based on the the category and after that deciding the conlusion. In this research the techniques are, first, Techniques of data collection, for grouping the technique by focus on the research. and second, Technique of data anaysis. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of Madura language jargon in the beach area of pamekasan of is quite a lot, this can be proved by the existence of some words that is fifty three of nouns, thirty one of verbs, and thirty four of adjectives. The conclusion is the jargon often used in the beach area, especially in Pamekasan. Because they used a simple word or sentence in their daily activities. For them, they used it for making simple or easy to understand in the communication.
