Abstract

Employee performance problems always attract interest to be studied, because employee performance is the spearhead for measuring the achievement of company goals. The success in achieving the goals of a company is very much determined by the workforce factor who has adequate work performance, especially in the current intense business competition. Likewise in hotels engaged in accommodation services, where the contact between guests and hotel employees is relatively intensive, the employee performance of hotel employees is one of the key factors determining the success of the hotel. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the Work Environment, Compensation, and Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance at Hotel Grand Elite Pekanbaru. The respondents of this research were 103 hotel employees. As exogenous variables are Work Environment, Compensation, and Emotional Intelligence. While the endogenous variable is Employee Performance. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression using SPSS. Hypothesis test results show that the work environment and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance while emotional intelligence has no significant effect on employee performance. The results of this study can be used as a decision-making policy for the company for employees at the Grand Elite Hotel Pekanbaru, to further optimize their work environment, compensation, and emotional intelligence. Permasalahan kinerja karyawan selalu menarik minat untuk dikaji, karena kinerja karyawan merupakan ujung tombak untuk mengukur pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan suatu perusahaan sangat ditentukan oleh faktor tenaga kerja yang mempunyai prestasi kerja yang memadai, apalagi dalam persaingan bisnis yang ketat seperti saat ini. Demikian juga halnya pada hotel yang bergerak di bidang jasa akomodasi, dimana kontak antara tamu dan karyawan hotel relatif intensif, kinerja karyawan pada karyawan hotel menjadi salah satu faktor kunci penentu keberhasilan hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Kompensasi, dan Kecerdasan Emosional terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada Hotel Grand Elite Pekanbaru. Responden penelitian ini adalah karyawan hotel sebanyak 103 orang. Sebagai variabel eksogen adalah Lingkungan Kerja, Kompensasi, dan Kecerdasan Emosional. Sedangkan variabel endogen yaitu Kinerja Karyawan. Alat analisis yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Lingkungan Kerja dan Kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan sedangkan Kecerdasan Emosional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dijadikan suatu kebijakan pengambilan keputusan bagi perusahaan untuk karyawan pada Hotel Grand Elite Pekanbaru, untuk lebih mengoptimalkan lingkungan kerja, kompensasi, dan kecerdasan emosional yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is something that must be considered by any specialized company in the culinary field. By maintaining and giving satisfaction to consumers, they will need to make repeat purchases for the products they have consumed. This study aims to analyze the quality of service, product quality, and price on consumer satisfaction at McDonald's McDonald's. Selected respondents are consumers who come with accidental sampling method where the number of samples is 100 respondents. The method of data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study prove that the variable of service quality is significantly negative on customer satisfaction. Product quality variables are positive and significant to customer satisfaction. The variable price of satisfaction is positive and significant to customer satisfaction. 58.2% of customer satisfaction variables can be accepted by the variables of service quality, product quality and price, while the remaining 0.418 or 41.8% customer satisfaction is requested by other variables that do not support this research such as places, advertisements, and brand image Kepuasan konsumen merupakan suatu hal yang harus diperhatikan oleh setiap perusahaan khususnya di bidang kuliner. Dengan mempertahankan dan memberikan kepuasan kepada konsumen maka mereka akan cenderung untuk melakukan pembelian ulang atas produk yang telah mereka konsumsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas pelayanan, kualitas produk, dan harga terhadap kepuasan konsumen di McDonald’s Pekanbaru. Responden yang dipilih adalah konsumen yang datang berbelanja dengan metode accidental sampling dimana jumlah sample sebanyak 100 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa variabel kualitas pelayanan signifikan negative terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Variabel kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Variabel harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Sebesar 58,2% variabel kepuasan konsumen dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel kualitas pelayanan, kualitas produk dan harga, sedangkan sisanya 0,418 atau 41,8% kepuasan konsumen dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lainnya yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini seperti tempat, iklan, dan citra merek

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of organizational commitment, work discipline and work environment on job satisfaction and teacher performance at SMK Negeri Tambusai Utara, Rokan Hulu. The sampling technique used in this study used a sample in which all members of the population became the sample, as many as 78 people became the sample. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis and the Equation Structure Model (SEM) PLS with the help of Smart PLS software. The results of this study indicate that commitment and work discipline are not significant on job satisfaction. The work environment is significantly positive on job satisfaction. Organizational commitment and work discipline are significant to performance. Environment and job satisfaction are not significant to performance. For further writers can add other independent factors that can affect teacher job satisfaction and teacher performance. Both internal factors that exist at school and factors outside of school.
