Abstract

Sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang tekstil di Pekalongan, mengolah serat kapas menjadi benang jadi. Produksi benang melewati beberapa proses yaitu blowing, carding, pre drawing, unilab, drawing breaker, drawing finisher, roving, spinning, winding dan packaging. Ditemukan banyak produk cacat, sehingga perusahaan perlu meningkatkan kualitas guna menjaga kepercayaan konsumen.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the relationship of disaster factors to the level of preparedness of students in Central Java in facing disasters. This research uses quantitative methods, because data collection in research is related to numbers and uses statistical analysis. The quantitative approach in this study uses the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling method or an assessment that was taken if it met certain criteria in accordance with the research topic, the sample used was 361 respondents. The method used in this research is SEM analysis, which is a multivariate statistical technique that analyses the relationship between variables. Independent variables include knowledge, attitude, policy, environment, training and religiosity. The dependent variable is preparedness. The results of research from independent variables that have an effect and have a positive direction are the attitude variable with a T-statistic value of 7,357, the training variable with a T-statistic value of 4,839 and the religiosity variable with a T-statistic value of 2,352. Variables that have a positive direction, but no effect are the knowledge variable and the policy variable.

Abstract

PT. Agricon mostly produces 1L package (bottle) pesticides named Spontan insecticide. This study was conducted to analyze and determine the stock inventory of 1L bottles for determining an effective ordering schedule based on the calculation of safety stock and reorder points to optimize planning and inventory. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method used to determine the effective scheduling of 1L bottle products. Material Requirement Planning is one method used to determine scheduling with advantages such as reducing inventory, reducing set up costs, and reducing idle time. The proposed order scheme for ordering 1L insecticide packaging bottle improve the company on reducing the frequency for ordering bottles from 7 times to 5 times and inventory is more stable and close to demand quantity

Abstract

Abstract

CV. Istiqomah Furniture is a company engaged in manufacturing furniture located in Klaten, Central Java. The problems that are often faced by CV. Istiqomah Furniture, namely the decrease in worker productivity and the number of final products that are not following company standards. One of the departments responsible for these problems is the service department. The high intensity of work in the service department can cause a mental burden for workers. The purpose of this study is to calculate the mental workload felt byworkers, find out the dominant factors that cause this mental burden, and provide alternative improvements based on the problems faced by the company. The method used in this research is NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index). The results of this study are that the average worker has a high mental workload with a WWL value of 72.11, and the mostinfluential factors are physical and mental needs. Based on these results, the proposed improvements provide sufficient rest time, improve worker safety and comfort, increase work motivation, provide adequate facilities, conduct medical tests, and provide good nutrition.
