Abstract

Stunting is a chronic under nutrition in early childhood and Indonesia still listed as one of the largest stunting percentage in the world with 21.6% in 2023. Indonesia has included stunting as one of their prioritize to tackle and encourage many health programs that aims to reduce it. Many of its program then focus on children but also their parents as parent playing an important role in this problem. But there is still very few research related to what factors influence the parents so their children can avoid stunting. This paper then analyse what factors affecting parents particular to stunting with variables related to perception and behaviour of human which is Extended theory of planned behaviour (TPB). Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) then was used to analyse all the variables correlation, The results of this study are that there are 4 significant correlations between variables, namely Descriptive Norm have a significant and negative effect on Intention to Use. This study also found that Attitude, Perceived Health Literacy and Perceived Economic Knowledge had a positive and significant effect. In addition, other findings are that Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Effectiveness and Perceived Behavioural Control do not have a significant effect on Intention to Use. This paper provide insight what factors that can be focused so stunting program so it can be more successful in the future.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the highest social gap in Asia. This significant social gap drives the phenomenon of gentrification in several cities in Indonesia. Despite the rise in gentrification occurrences, there is very little research concerning the factors contributing to gentrification behaviors in Indonesia. This study investigates the factors contributing to gentrification in the Kerten Area, Solo, Indonesia, and its social effects. Solo area was selected because many regions in Solo are rapidly developing and attracting residential newcomers from various regions in Indonesia. This study delves into the factors influencing residents' intentions and behavior related to gentrification. The study incorporates variables from the extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) associated with human behavior and perception, such as subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, economic factors, social factors, and social awareness. The survey method was employed with 320 respondents, and the analysis utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that five variables—subjective norms, social awareness, and economic factors—have a substantial effect on gentrification. This research also discovered that attitude and individual concern factors had no significant effect. These results highlight the importance of managing gentrification to minimize social and community impacts.

Abstract

Indonesia’s waste problem leads to severe effect such as economic, environment and social consequences in Indonesia as second largest contributor of plastic waste in the world. Most of the plastic waste source in Indonesia is from household sector. This phenomenon then can be further analysed with variables related to perception and behavior of humans. This study investigates determinants of residents' participation intention and behavior to implement circular economy for their plastic waste in a framework that incorporates Extended theory of planned behavior (TPB). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) then was used to analyse all the variables correlation, The results of this study are that there are 5 significant correlations between variables, namely Descriptive Norm and Attitude have a significant and negative effect on Intention to Use. This study also found that the factors Perceived Behavioral Control, Individual concern and perceived economic use had a positive and significant effect. In addition, other findings are that Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Effectiveness and perceived environmental knowledge do not have a significant effect on Intention to Use.

Abstract

The traditional batik industry still depends on non-ergonomic tools, especially during the Colet dyeing process, which exposes artisans to significant musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) risks. Prolonged static postures, repetitive arm movements, and mismatched table heights cause discomfort in the back, shoulders, and neck, ultimately reducing productivity. This study aims to design an ergonomic workstation that enhances safety and comfort for batik workers through the integration of the Nordic Body Map (NBM), Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approaches. Three workers from Batik Mahkota Laweyan participated in the research through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. NBM identified the colet process as the most discomfort-inducing activity, while the initial REBA score of 9 indicated a very high ergonomic risk. The QFD analysis translated workers’ needs into specific technical criteria, such as adjustable height, tiltable surface, and lightweight materials, resulting in a redesigned dyeing table prototype. CATIA simulations validated the improvement, with the REBA score decreasing from 9 to 3, signifying a shift from high to low risk. The findings confirm that integrating ergonomic analysis tools with participatory design effectively reduces MSD risk and supports user-centered innovations in traditional craft industries. The study contributes theoretically by proposing a replicable framework that bridges ergonomic assessment and design application, and practically by providing a validated workstation design that improves comfort, health, and productivity. The novelty lies in the combined use of NBM, REBA, and QFD within a single methodological framework, an approach rarely applied in the traditional batik sector, demonstrating how systematic ergonomic integration can modernize artisanal practices while preserving cultural craftsmanship.
