Abstract

This research aims to describe the relationship between the achievement motivation and the performance of Hindu religious teachers at elementary school levels who have not been certified as educators. This research is classified as a correlational research. The population of this study were teachers of Hindu religion in elementary schools in Tabanan Regency who had not been certified as educators. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique, in which all members of the population were sampled. The research instrument used was an observation sheet of achievement motivation and teacher performance. The data that has been collected were analyzed descriptively and also analyzed by inferential statistics. The analysis of statistic inferential was using a product moment correlation with significant level of 0.05. The result states that: 1) there is a significant relationship between the achievement motivation and the performance of Hindu religious teachers at elementary school levels who have not been certified as educators (sig < 0,05) and 2) The closeness level of the relationship between achievement motivation and teacher performance is classified as strong (rxy = 0,715).

Abstract

Sanskrit is the language used in the holy Vedic texts. To understand the contents of the Veda, it is very important to learn Sanskrit to know every meaning of the verse or mantra contained in the Veda scriptures. However, the existence of Sanskrit at this time has not been touched at all by Hindus and is very familiar with the use of Sanskrit. Sanskrit is only studied in institutions or colleges with Hindu nuances, so Hindus today have very little to know, let alone learn it. Besides that, Sanskrit is quite complex, there are many rules in learning it, so that Sanskrit is said to be a complex language and difficult to learn. The results of this study indicate the following points. First, the Sanskrit learning pattern at the Dvīpāntara Saṁskṛtam Foundation, starting in terms of tiered Sanskrit learning strategies, student center strategies, online Sanskrit learning strategies (patrālayadvārā Saṁskṛtam), learning methods using dialogue methods, storytelling methods as well as playing methods, learning media using image media and power point media, and using direct learning models Second, the problems faced in learning Sanskrit at the Dvīpāntara Saṁskṛtam Foundation in Denpasar City are caused by two factors, namely problems from internal factors which include perceptions, attitudes and motivation as well as from external factors such as educators, learning climate and infrastructure Third, the implications of learning Sanskrit at the Dvīpāntara Saṁskṛtam Foundation in Denpasar City include four aspects, namely: (1) cognitive domain, (2) affective domain, ( 3) psychomotor domain (4) literature and culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mengkaji hubungan antara kompetensi dengan kinerja guru dan 2) menyelidiki tingkat keeratan hubungan antara kompetensi dengan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif berjenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru agama Hindu jenjang SMP se-Kabupaten Tabanan yang sudah bersertifikat pendidik. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket kompetensi dan kinerja guru. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial menggunakan teknik ANAVA dan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menyatakan : 1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru dan 2) tingkat keeratan hubungan antara kompetensi dan kinerja guru berada pada level sedang.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the level of achievement motivation Hindu religious teachers are certified educators. This research belongs to qualitative research. The population of this study were teachers of Hindu religious subjects at Junior High School who were certified educators in Tabanan Regency. Samples were taken using saturated sampling techniques. The research instrument used was achievement motivation questionnaire. The questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that 8.7% of teachers had very high achievement motivation; 76.1% had high achievement motivation and 15.2% had achievement motivation level in the sufficient category. The achievement motivation of these teachers is influenced by factors such as job satisfaction, appreciation, physical and social environment and the existence of career paths.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the competence of Hinduism teachers at the Elementary Schools level in Penebel sub-district who do not have educator certificate. This research is classified into qualitative research. The method that used is a survey method. The population of this research were Hinduism teachers at Elementary Schools level in Penebel sub-district who do not have educator certificate. The sampling technique that used is saturated sampling technique. The research instrument used was a teacher competency questionnaire. The teacher competency data analysis was conducted descriptively. The results of this research stated that the competence of Hinduism teachers at the Elementary Schools level in Penebel sub-district who do not have educator certificate was classified as high (average score 73.00). Keywords: Competence; Hinduism Teacher; Elementary School; do not have Educator Certificate

Abstract

This research aims to describe the performance of educator certified Hinduism teachers at the junior high schools in Tabanan Regency. This research is descriptive research. The population of this study were all educator certified Hinduism teachers at the junior high schools in Tabanan Regency. Sampling was done by using saturated sampling technique. The research instrument that used was a teacher performance sheet questionnaire consisting of 33 (thirty three) items. The instrument has been tested for validity and reliability before use. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the reaserch indicate that: 1) the performance of educator certified Hinduism teachers at the junior high schools in Tabanan Regency is high with an average score of 72.00 and 2) as many as 2.16% of Hinduism teachers have very high performance; 82.61% are in the high criteria and 15.21% are in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Motivation and student learning outcomes are still problems in Sekolah Dasar Nomor 6 Benoa, especially in the subjects of Hinduism and Moral Education. Improvements are still being carried out, which is by implementing a mind map learning strategy. The mind map learning strategy provides an opportunity for students to record the information they find during the learning process in a fun way. The purpose of this study was to analyze and explain (1) the effect of mind map learning strategies on the learning motivation of Hindu Religious Education and Characteristics of fifth-grade students at Sekolah Dasar Nomor 6 Benoa, (2) the effect of mind map learning strategies on learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Characteristics of fifth-grade students at Sekolah Dasar Nomor 6 Benoa. This research was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and tests. Mancova was used to test hypotheses I and II. Based on the results of the analysis, the average score of students' learning motivation in the experimental class was greater than that of the control class (78.63 > 69.33). In addition, the average score of student learning outcomes also shows that the average score in the experimental class is greater than the control class (78.90 > 64.77). The results of the hypothesis testing show that: (1) there is a significant influence between mind map learning strategies on the learning motivation of Hindu Religious Education and Characteristics of fifth-grade students at Sekolah Dasar Nomor 6 Benoa, (2) there is a significant influence between mind map learning strategies on learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Characteristics of fifth-grade students at Sekolah Dasar Nomor 6 Benoa.

Abstract

Science learning is one of the subjects included in the curriculum of Pasraman including Adi Widya Pasraman. However, so far, there has been no research aimed at evaluating science learning in Pasraman. In addition, the results of science literacy surveys in Indonesia recently have experienced a decline, so science learning needs to be evaluated. This research aimed to: 1) evaluate the science learning program at Adi Widya Pasraman in Bali Province using the Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) model and 2) analyze the effectiveness of the science learning program at Adi Widya Pasraman in Bali Province. This research was classified as an evaluative research study. The population and sample for this research were all Adi Widya Pasraman in Bali province. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire as the main instrument and was reinforced with observation sheets and interview guidelines. The data was analyzed descriptively and the effectiveness test was carried out using the Glickmann model. The research results showed that: 1) the aspects of context and process t are effective and good criteria; 2) the aspects of input and product are classified as sufficient and less effective; 3) overall the science learning program at Adi Widya Pasraman in Bali Province is quite effective.

Abstract

Literasi sains sangat penting dikuasai mengingat pentingnya sains dalam kehidupan manusia baik sebagai makhluk individu maupun sosial. Namun faktanya literasi sains siswa Indonesia masih belum memuaskan. Literasi sains hendaknya dilakukan tidak di lingkungan sekolah saja namun juga di lingkungan keluarga. Peneltiian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis cara menumbuhkan literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar di lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini tergolong dalam penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber data berupa buku dan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan keluarga dan literasi sains. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi sains dapat dikembangkan dalam lingkungan keluarga baik dari segi dimensi proses, konten, sikap dan aplikasi. Cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan cara orang tua memberi teladan tentang sikap sains, memberikan penjelasan fenomena sains yang kontekstual dan non kontekstual dan mengajak anak melakukan percobaan sains dengan memanfaatkan alat dan bahan yang tersedia di rumah.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze efforts to develop inventive thinking skills through science learning in elementary school students. This research is classified as library research. Data comes from literature related to inventive thinking abilities, science learning and elementary school students. After the data is collected and sorted, analysis techniques are carried out using content analysis techniques. The results of the research state that inventive thinking abilities can be developed in science learning by applying varied learning, open questions, applying independent learning and contextual and student-centered science learning. The teacher's role is as a learning designer, motivator and evaluator.
