Abstract

Tebuireng is one of the pesantren that participates in creating the nation's generation. Since the time of Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy'ari, Pesantren Tebuireng has been donated (waqf) for the progress of Muslims and shiar for deen. Today, Pesantren Tebuireng continues to grow by inaugurating branches that spread throughout the archipelago. From this phenomenon, the researchers want to examine how Pesantren Tebuireng maintains resilience and continues to develop which is supported by waqf? Second, what types of waqf are managed by Pesantren Tebuireng so that they not only maintain resilience but also continue to grow. With qualitative-descriptive research, researchers explore data through interviews and literature review, both scientific journals and books. The results obtained from the field research, the researchers concluded that 1) Pesantren Tebuireng established a Quality Assurance Unit to be able to adapt to scientific developments so that the waqf was obtained by Pesantren Tebuireng can be managed with the latest scientific developments. In this case, the Quality Assurance Unit proposes the establishment of the Pesantren Tebuireng's Waqf Board (Badan Wakaf Pesantren Tebuireng); 2) waqf at Pesantren Tebuireng started from land waqf, penetrated productive waqf, penetrated cash waqf with management that follows the times, namely trustworthy and professional.

Abstract

Abdi Theological College Trawas-Mojokerto or abbreviated as STTIAA Trawas, is a higher education institution that is engaged in preparing its graduates to become spiritual leaders in several churches. This research aims to understand and deepen the symptoms of a group of students at STTIAA Trawas related to their character while staying on campus. This is a social phenomenon as well as a problem related to the individual human being. Second, this research uses a theoretical framework that can shape or influence the study being researched. This research uses a qualitative design. Based on the research background, the research focus is generally stated: (1) The boarding-based Christian character education curriculum at Abdi-Allah Theological College Trawas-Mojokerto; and (2) The implementation strategy for the hostel-based Christian character education curriculum at the Abdi-Allah Theology College Trawas-Mojokerto. So that, the conclusions of this research remarks 1) The management of Christian character education curriculum that influences Dormitory Abdi Theological High School Trawas-Mojokerto are: Holiness (85.42% good), Love (82.17% good), and Commitment (71.83% good). Thus, the students’ lifestyle based on dormitory dominated by Holiness, Love, and Commitment is significant; 2) The management of Christian character education curriculum can affect the students’ lifestyle based on dormitory in which character transmission occurs without competition among group members as follows (a) Moral knowing, (b) Moral feeling, (c) Moral behavior.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) bertema “Pelatihan Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Kontekstual Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SMP/MTs di Kabupaten Nganjuk” dilatarbelakangi fakta bahwa selama ini teks pembelajaran yang diajarkan pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia jenjang SMP/MTs di Nganjuk tidak kontekstual. Pada saat mengajarkan teks deskripsi, misalnya, gurumenggunakan teks yang ada di dalam buku siswa, yaitu teks tentang Pantai Senggigi dan Pantai Parangtritis. Sejalan dengan fakta bahwa orang-orang yang pada akhirnya berdomisili di luar kabupaten asalnya tidak lebih dari 10%, fenomena bahan ajar yang tidak kontekstual menyebabkan siswa tidak mengenal dengan baik potensi daerahnya sehingga menemukan banyak kendala ketika akan meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan membangun daerah. Karena itu, kontekstualisasi bahan ajar dipandang penting. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut pada makalah ini dipaparkan teks deskripsi sebagai bahan ajar kontekstual yang dikaji dari segi struktur dan aspek kebahasaan. Data berupa teks deskripsi dikumpulkan dari sebelas guru yang dilatih untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar kontekstual pada 2 sampai dengan 11 Oktober 2021 melalui teknik penugasan individual. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif-eksplanatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa teks deskripsi yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar kontekstual berstruktur lengkap, yaitu terdiri atas bagian identifikasi, deskripsi bagian, dan penutup dengan deskripsi bagian sebagai unsur dominan. Sebagian teks deskripsi yang tidak lengkap digunakan sebagai bahan bandingan dan sarana identifikasi bagian yang dihilangkan. Dalam hal aspek kebahasaan digunakan unsur linguistis berupa penjelasan terperinci, kata-kata beremosi kuat, dan bahasa penggambaran persuasif. Teks kontekstual dengan struktur dan aspek kebahasaan tersebut sejalan dengan tuntutan standar isi pada Kurikulum 2013 yang diberlakukan saat ini.

Abstract

Literary works has been used as objects of research as well as instruments for studying theories of language and literature. One of the literary works that is involved in linguistics and literature research is novel. This study aims at (i) finding the influence of dominant and arbitrary authorities, (ii) finding the resistance of the marginalized people against the authorities, and (iii) revealing the intelligence of the marginalized in doing an effort to fight against the authorities, in a novel entitled “Ken Arok dan Ken Dedes (Pertumpahan Darah Menuju Singgasana)” composed by Gamal Komandoko by applying Gayatri Spivak’s post-colonial theory. The present study uses a qualitative approach in which the data source is a novel of “Ken Arok dan Ken Dedes (Pertumpahan Darah Menuju Singgasana)” telling a coup story in Java. The research data are words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs, found in Komandoko’s novel, which are in line with Spivak’s post-colonial theory. The researchers used documentation or literature in data collection. For data analysis, the researchers used descriptive analysis technique. From the results of data analysis based on Spivak’s post-colonial theory, the influence of authorities which are dominant and arbitrary, the resistance of the marginalized people against the authorities, and high intelligence possessed by the marginalized to carry out a coup as a form of resistance against the authorities are found in the novel of “Ken Arok dan Ken Dedes (Pertumpahan Darah Menuju Singgasana)” by Gamal Komandoko.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach, while the type is field research. The object of this research is focused on the caregivers, coaches, and students in the dormitory with the aim of knowing how the role of the supervisor of the hostel in instilling religious values into students in the dormitory of MAN Religious Program Denanyar Jombang. The researcher uses data colleting by interview, observation, and documentation methods with descriptive analysis techniques. The findings in this study indicate that the role of the hostel supervisor in instilling the religious values of students is as a facilitator, educator, motivator, counselor and figure center. The religious values instilled in the MAN Religious Program dormitory include the values of worship, morals, discipline and exemplary. Instilling religious values in the MAN dormitory for the Denanyar Jombang Religious Program using exemplary, habituation, functional, coaching and punishment and reward methods. The inculcation of religious values is one of the foundations for shaping the character of students. Religious values are reflected and illustrated by students through speech, behavior, actions, and thinking in accordance with Islamic teachings, carrying out His commands and staying away from His prohibitions, promoting tolerance and creating a harmonious life. The role of the Religious Program MAN dormitory supervisor is very important to make students intellectually and morally qualified.
