Abstract

The existence of technological development requires a curriculum to adjust to technological developments that occur. The need for curriculum development in order to meet human needs and improve student competence in facing existing technological developments. To produce competent students in the field of Electrical Engineering Education, a good curriculum is needed. To get a good curriculum evaluation or enrichment must always be done. Curriculum enrichment can be done one of them by inputting a course that is image processing. Image processing subject is one of the engineering courses at Non-LPTK University. Where the composition of courses at the University of LPTK includes general courses, engineering courses, and professional expertise courses. Thus, image processing courses can be assimilated into the UNP Electrical Engineering Education curriculum. The results show that image processing courses can be assimilated into the PSPTE FT UNP curriculum with learning outcomes that are in accordance with the characteristics of the PSPTE FT UNP curriculum that students are expected to be able to understand and explain the basic concepts of the image processing course.

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi serta tuntutan kebutuhan dunia usaha dan industri, maka berbagai komponen dalam dunia pendidikan terus berbenah. Salah satu komponen penting yang terkait dalam sistem pendidikan adalah kurikulum. Beberapa faktor terjadinya rekonstruksi kurikulum ialah tuntutan perkembangan teknologi, kebijakan pemerintah, serta tuntutan lulusan yang adaptif terhadap dunia usaha dan industri. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis rekonstruksi kurikulum Pendidikan Teknik Elektro. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Metodel pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dilakukan secara langsung dan virtual dengan informan yang terdiri dari 3 dosen jurusan Teknik. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan ialah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah mekanisme yang dilakukan dalam rekonstruksi kurikulum Pendidikan Teknik elektro. Pertama, menyusun profil lulusan. Kedua, merumuskan capaian pembelajaran lulusan (learning outcomes). Capaian pembelajaran lulusan merupakan output yang dihasilkan melalui lulusan program studi Pendidikan Teknik elektro yang terdiri dari unsur sikap, keterampilan umum, keterampilan khusus, dan pengetahuan. Ketiga, menentukan bahan kajian. Bahan kajian merupakan turunan capaian pembelajaran lulusan yang dirincikan ke dalam bidang ilmu Pendidikan Teknik elektro. Keempat, menentukan mata kuliah. Kelima, menyusun mata kuliah kedalam struktur kurikulum. Struktur mata kuliah ialah bentuk organisasi mata kuliah yang disusun ke dalam bentuk organisasi struktur mata kuliah per semester.

Abstract

The style or manner of a principal in his capacity as a leader will determine the success of improving the performance of teachers under his leadership. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the principal's leadership style in improving teacher performance. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques were carried out through a literature review consisting of 6 relevant articles regarding the influence of leadership style on teacher performance. The results found applying an instructive leadership style (telling) in improving discipline, (2) principals applying a consultative leadership style (selling) in increasing teacher work motivation, (3) principals applying a delegating leadership style (delegating) in increasing teacher responsibility, and the authoritarian leadership style is one of the leadership styles that is implied in order to improve teacher discipline so as to produce good performance and increase the teacher's sense of responsibility in learning. It is recommended that the principal can apply a better or varied leadership style so that the desired goals can be achieved properly and maximally.

Abstract

This study aims to identify educators' readiness and the obstacles they face in implementing Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in learning practices. The research focuses on aspects of digital literacy, perceived benefits, infrastructure readiness, as well as technical, pedagogical, and ethical obstacles. The method used is qualitative, employing in-depth interviews with ten lecturers from the Department of Electrical Engineering who have used GenAI for at least three months. Data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study indicate that educators' digital literacy regarding GenAI varies, influenced by age, teaching experience, and exposure to technology. Most educators have a positive perception of the benefits of GenAI, particularly in improving the efficiency of material preparation, enriching learning media, and supporting students' independent learning. However, technical skills such as prompt engineering and AI-based pedagogical understanding remain limited. Infrastructure readiness is relatively adequate at the individual level, but challenges related to internet connection quality, data security, and institutional policies act as barriers. Major obstacles include technical limitations, the lack of effective pedagogical strategies, and ethical concerns regarding academic integrity, information validity, and the potential decline in students' critical thinking abilities. In conclusion, the adoption of GenAI requires holistic readiness that includes improving digital literacy, strengthening pedagogical competencies, improving infrastructure, and formulating clear ethical policies. Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 menghadirkan transformasi besar dalam pendidikan tinggi, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) sebagai teknologi disruptif. AI digunakan dalam sistem pembelajaran adaptif, learning analytics, hingga chatbot akademik yang mampu menghadirkan pengalaman belajar lebih efektif dan personal. Namun, penerapannya juga menimbulkan tantangan, mulai dari isu etika, plagiarisme, hingga potensi ketergantungan. Teknik elektro memiliki hubungan erat dengan AI karena berbasis pada komputasi, algoritma, dan sistem. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa teknik elektro menjadi kelompok strategis untuk diteliti terkait pemahaman dan sikap mereka terhadap AI dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terfokus, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat tema utama, yaitu: pemahaman konseptual, bentuk pemanfaatan, persepsi manfaat dan tantangan, serta kesadaran etis mahasiswa. Secara umum, mahasiswa teknik elektro memiliki pemahaman cukup baik dan sikap positif terhadap AI, meskipun sebagian masih cenderung menggunakannya secara pragmatis. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang lebih etis, kritis, dan berkelanjutan agar integrasi AI tidak sekadar bersifat praktis, melainkan juga mendukung penguatan kompetensi akademik dan integritas ilmiah.

Abstract

Educational institutions aim to produce the best professional graduates in their fields. Educational institutions cannot achieve these goals by themselves, they need the participation of the community. This situation forces education to continue to be sensitive to the needs of society, the demands of the times and government policies and to anticipate them by continuing to improve various related components in it. One of the components involved in the framework of the education system is the curriculum. This research is descriptive qualitative which aims to find out the picture, situation, a thing by describing it in as much detail as possible according to the existing facts of the Electrical Engineering Vocational Education curriculum. The results of this study indicated that the curriculum structure of the electrical engineering vocational education study program has characteristics based on the composition of the course consisting of general courses, engineering courses, and professional expertise courses. Based on the study material, engineering courses can be grouped into mandatory engineering courses, basic courses, supporting courses, and additional courses.
