Abstract

Based on the author's observations, the learning method at SMKN 5, a conventional learning system, still dominates Padang.Conventional learning systems and student learning outcomes have not been satisfactory, including in IPL subjects. The research instrument was a test. Data In this study, the data were processed using SPSS version 23.0 software. From the results of the study obtained the average learning outcomes of experimental class students are greater than those of the control class and from the t-test results obtained t-test results obtained a t value that was more significant than the t table; this means that STAD-type cooperative learning is better than conventional learning. STAD-type cooperative learning is better than conventional learning. In this research, This study also revealed that the learning completeness of experimental class students was also more significant than that of the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to identify educators' readiness and the obstacles they face in implementing Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in learning practices. The research focuses on aspects of digital literacy, perceived benefits, infrastructure readiness, as well as technical, pedagogical, and ethical obstacles. The method used is qualitative, employing in-depth interviews with ten lecturers from the Department of Electrical Engineering who have used GenAI for at least three months. Data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the study indicate that educators' digital literacy regarding GenAI varies, influenced by age, teaching experience, and exposure to technology. Most educators have a positive perception of the benefits of GenAI, particularly in improving the efficiency of material preparation, enriching learning media, and supporting students' independent learning. However, technical skills such as prompt engineering and AI-based pedagogical understanding remain limited. Infrastructure readiness is relatively adequate at the individual level, but challenges related to internet connection quality, data security, and institutional policies act as barriers. Major obstacles include technical limitations, the lack of effective pedagogical strategies, and ethical concerns regarding academic integrity, information validity, and the potential decline in students' critical thinking abilities. In conclusion, the adoption of GenAI requires holistic readiness that includes improving digital literacy, strengthening pedagogical competencies, improving infrastructure, and formulating clear ethical policies. Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 menghadirkan transformasi besar dalam pendidikan tinggi, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) sebagai teknologi disruptif. AI digunakan dalam sistem pembelajaran adaptif, learning analytics, hingga chatbot akademik yang mampu menghadirkan pengalaman belajar lebih efektif dan personal. Namun, penerapannya juga menimbulkan tantangan, mulai dari isu etika, plagiarisme, hingga potensi ketergantungan. Teknik elektro memiliki hubungan erat dengan AI karena berbasis pada komputasi, algoritma, dan sistem. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa teknik elektro menjadi kelompok strategis untuk diteliti terkait pemahaman dan sikap mereka terhadap AI dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terfokus, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat tema utama, yaitu: pemahaman konseptual, bentuk pemanfaatan, persepsi manfaat dan tantangan, serta kesadaran etis mahasiswa. Secara umum, mahasiswa teknik elektro memiliki pemahaman cukup baik dan sikap positif terhadap AI, meskipun sebagian masih cenderung menggunakannya secara pragmatis. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang lebih etis, kritis, dan berkelanjutan agar integrasi AI tidak sekadar bersifat praktis, melainkan juga mendukung penguatan kompetensi akademik dan integritas ilmiah.

Abstract

Expansive soil can cause damage to simple constructions such as roads and houses with loads less than 20 kPa. Damage occurs due to the swelling behavior of expansive soil, due to changes in the moisture content of the soil. This research aims to determine the impact of the percentage of swelling potential and swelling pressure on expansive soil in the Delta silicon, West Java. This expansive soil is known to have very high swelling potential criteria. The samples used had variations in moisture content of 27% and 32%, with variations in initial stress of 16 kPa, 36 kPa, 38 kPa, and 42 kPa. The deformation that occurs due to swelling shows that all samples will continue to increase swelling for 4320 minutes (3 days). The results on the value of swelling potential and swelling pressure are influenced by water content. When a sample with a water content of 27% was compressed with a initial stress of 36 kPa, the swelling potential value increased by a maximum of 11%, and the maximum swelling pressure value was 913 kPa. These test results confirm the presence of very high soil swelling in the test area located in the silicon delta. The results of identification and swelling tests in the laboratory show that the development potential value of this land is high, which causes a high level of damage to simple construction.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan artikel penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis SWOT studi kelayakan bisnis UMKM pada usaha kerupuk udang yang ada di kota Kuala Tungkal. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan jenis data yang digunakan adalah jenis data primer dan sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bertujuan agar pengusaha kerupuk udang yang ada di Kota Kuala Tungkal dapat mempelajari lebih dalam tentang kelayakan bisnis. Selain itu, dengan adanya penelitian ini para pengusaha dapat memahami tentang pemasaran dan analisis kekuatan (Strengths), kelemahan (Weaknesses), Peluang (Opportunities), dan ancaman (Threats) yang dapat dijadikan tolak ukur untuk keberlangsungan dan perkembangan usahanya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis SWOT untuk usaha bisnis sangat bermanfaat untuk menentukan prioritas yang diutamakan terlebih dahulu, memperkirakan kendala, risiko, masalah, ancaman yang mungkin akan terjadi, mengetahui letak usaha, membantu meningkatkan perkembangan usaha, dan mempermudah dalam mengambil keputusan. Selain itu, analisis SWOT juga berarti memanfaatkan kekuatan (Streghts) untuk menghasilkan peluang (Opportunities), mengatasi kelemahan (Weaksnesses) untuk mencegah ancaman (Threats), dan memanfaatkan kekuatan (Strenghts) untuk mengatasi ancaman (Threats).

Untuk upaya mengatasi persaingan penjualan tempe berdasarkan perspektif bisnis syariah di Desa Kempas Jaya. Untuk mengetahui persaingan penjualan tempe dalam perspektif binis syariah di Desa Kempas Jaya. Strategi dapat diartikan sebagai cara-cara untuk menerapkan suatu perencanaan dalam jangka panjang yang disusun pada suatu pencapaian akan tujuan tertentu. Persaingan dapat diartikan sebagai bentuk perlombaan dalam memenangkan sesuatu yang akan digapai. Sedangkan penjualan merupakan proses kegiatan menjual yaitu dari kegiatan penetapan harga jual sampai produk yang dijual hingga ketangan pembeli, dan terjadilah sebuah transaksi.

Abstract

In geotechnical engineering, large deformation in soil materials is rarely simulated using numerical methods, particularly the finite element method and finite difference method, because they experience difficulties in representing the postfailure soil behavior. As an alternative to these methods, the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method has recently been adopted to represent soil behavior. The SPH method is a Lagrangian, mesh-free numerical method in which the materials are modeled as a set of particles. In this method, soil behavior can be represented via the Drucker–Prager elasto–plastic failure criterion. Thus, this method can be used to simulate postfailure soil behavior and large deformation in soil materials. This study attempts to analyze large deformation of soil due to an extremely gentle slope and a thin water layer (referred to as the water film). The model is simulated using a C++ platform called PersianSPH. The results demonstrate that lateral deformation can occur in such a geometry because of the effective stress changes during liquefaction.
