Abstract

Productive Thematic Village is one of the priority activities carried out by the Semarang City Government as a solution in improving community welfare. Thematic Village is based on regional potential and the community as the subject of the Thematic Village plays an active role in improving welfare. One thematic village that has potential as a tourist destination is the Kampung Tempo Doeloe which is located in Jagalan Village. Kampung Tempo Doeloe was initiated by the local kelurahan government as an effort to preserve ancient buildings and existing traditions. However, in its continuation as a Thematic Village itself, this village still has problems. Therefore, a design is needed for the sustainability of thematic villages and the transformation of thematic villages into tourist destinations. The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations for the design of Kampung Tempo Doeloe which focuses on physical elements. Data collection methods used in this research are field observations, interviews, institutional surveys and document review. Analytical method used is descriptive qualitative in the form of descriptive comparative method. The results of this study are recommendations of  physical elements design which divided into 5 elements, namely Circulation and Parking, Open Space, Signages, Supporting Activities, and Preservation.. This recommendation is expected to be an input and consideration for the Semarang City Government in developing and transforming thematic villages into tourist destinations.

Abstract

Bus Rapid Transit sebagai salah satu transportasi massal berperan penting dalam mengurangi kemacetan dan meningkatkan mobilitas di kawasan perkotaan, termasuk di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Peningkatan kinerja sistem transportasi untuk mendorong penggunaan transportasi massal dapat diukur melalui indikator konsistensi lamanya waktu tempuh. TransJogja sebagai sistem BRT di Yogyakarta masih menghadapi permasalahan ketepatan waktu layanan dan lamanya waktu tempuh yang belum sesuai dengan standar PMPRI No. 10 Tahun 2012, yaitu maksimum 7 menit pada jam sibuk dan 15 menit pada jam tidak sibuk. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi variabilitas waktu tempuh TransJogja berdasarkan karakteristik temporal menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari waktu tempuh empat rute TransJogja selama bulan Februari 2022. Hasil penelitian penunjukkan bahwa waktu tempuh pada hari kerja lebih lama dibanding akhir pekan, serta lebih Panjang pada jam sibuk dibanding jam tidak sibuk. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh waktu terhadap ketepatan layanan BRT TransJogja. Temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar evaluasi dalam perencanaan transportasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem transportasi massal yang lebih efisien di Yogyakarta

Abstract

Inadequate service of Bus Rapid Transit in all zones in an urban area encourages integrated transport management system which can allow transport lines that connect more neighbourhoods which are far from BRT corridor route. Feeder services in Semarang aims at improving accessibility to BRT, reducing traffic congestion caused by the use of private cars and enhancing public transport services in Semarang urban areas and its surrounding. Moreover, Trans Semarang feeder is expected to become a public transport which is representative, safe, convenient, and affordable as well as its lines can be integrated with other transport modes. The purpose of the study is to analyse the integration of feeder route serving more trips in Semarang urban areas and its surrounding by using superimpose analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. This study reveals that service routes of feeder are not likely to be an optimal, the presence of bus stops amenities has not constituted the minimum requirements of convenience standard, its infrastructure has not integrated yet and the shelter cannot provide easy access to public transport users.
