Abstract

Abstract Mostly, teachers’ class management was seen to be lack with appropriate learning methods for the students. In fact, there were numbers of learning methods that were possible to be implemented by teachers in the learning process especially for dancing. One of them was the group method. This research aimed at determining the influence of using this method. The design of research was the class action research. The objects of the research were 24 fifth grade students of SD Plus Marhamah. The learning process was conducted within two cycles. The findings of the research showed that there was an improvement on students’ dancing abilities. It was observed from their increased scores from the first cycle to the second cycle. In the first cycle, students’ dancing average score was 61.87. The score increased in the second cycle to 73.75. It was concluded that the implementation of the group method had successfully improved the fifth grade students’ dancing abilities at SD Plus Marhamah Padang. The improvement was seen from the increased dancing scores gotten by the students.   Kata kunci: Kemampuan Menari, Metode Kelompok

Abstract

Early childhood education is the embryo of an educational process that seeks to develop several aspects of development, including art. Art is one that cannot be separated in human life. The movements that are carried out in children every day are very effective means of physical development, namely developing children's motor skills. As we already know that children's motor skills include gross motor development and fine motor development. So it is very important to recognize dance movements in early childhood, in developing gross motor skills. So that early childhood can express themselves and be able to appreciate the diversity of arts as a form of respect for art. This paper aims to describe the implementation of learning the basic movements of dance in developing gross motor skills for early childhood

Abstract

One effective way to develop motor skills in children is through fun and creative physical activities, such as dance. Learning is an interactive activity between educators and students carried out in schools, the most important of which is a systematic plan to achieve learning goals. In this context, it is important to further explore how dance learning activities can be used as an effective means to help students' motor development. With a deeper understanding of the contribution of dance to motor development, it is hoped that more schools will implement this activity in their curriculum, so that it can improve the quality of physical and arts education in Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type. Where this study aims to describe or describe art activities, which are generally in the form of dance works such as basic dance movements. Dance not only functions as a means of artistic expression, but also has a significant positive impact on children's motor development. By integrating dance into children's education, we can support their physical development holistically, both in terms of gross motor skills and fine motor skills.

Abstract

Orang tua sebagai penentu dalam mengembangkan kreatifitas anak, pendampingan orangtua yang sangat dekat dan akrab dengan anak nya dapat berpengaruh terhadap kreatifitas dan bakat anak dalam berkarya seni rupa, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengalisis sejauh mana pentingnya pendampingan orangtua untuk mengembangkan kreatifitas dan bakat anak berkarya seni rupa (mewarnai), kegiatan mewarnai pada seni rupa berfungsi untuk mengasah otak anak, meningkatkan daya imanjinasi anak, menambah wawasan anak terhadap bentuk warna dan estetika serta menumbuhkan daya kreatifitas anak, minat dan bakat anak, selain itu, menumbuh rasa percaya diri anak terhadap karya mewarnai yang mereka rancang. Objek penelitian pada anak berusia 4 sampai 8 tahun  di Rumah Seni cemara ceria. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif fenomologi dimana peneliti melihat secara fenomena yang terjadi dilapangan selain itu penelitian juga membuktikan dengan dokumentasi agar hasil penelitian ini lebih akurat, hasil penelitian ini untuk menunjukan melalui pendampingan orang tua, dimana orang tua terlibat langsung dalam mengembangkan kreatifitas dan bakat telihat secara langsung. Dengan adanya orangtua disamping anak, anak merasa lebih nyaman, lebih percaya diri, kretifitas nya lebih terlihat dari pada tidak ada orangtua disamping anak, anak terlihat takut, dan malas serta menangis. Hal ini memperlihatkan perndampingan orangtua sangat penting dalam tumbuh kembang anak dan mengembangkan kreatifitas dan bakat anak dalam mewarnau seni rupa. Dengan adanya pendampingan orangtua, orang tua langsung memberikan pendidikan  kepada anak pentingnya kerjasama, berkerja teliti dalam mewarna, serta belajar untuk sabar dalam memberi warna pada gambar karna sejatinya pendidikan pertama pada anak buka terletak pada guru disekolah, tetapi pada orangtua anak.
