Abstract

PT. X is a private company that commercially operated since 1991. It becomes the first company which produces Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP) in Indonesia. In order to support the business processing, PT. X only have a program holds its warehouse and also the general ledger. The program is lack of information system which is not whole integrated.For this reason, in this thesis, the analysis and design of architecture data information system is made for the company. The process begins by analyzing the business model and business strategy. After that, analysis the information technology in this company recently, then understanding the problem and looking at the need of information technology in the future. Next, making the design of architecture data which is suitable with business strategy and companys business process.

Abstract

Real Estate company X has the IT division that provides support and services to another divisions which became a customer for the IT division. IT division provides services such as procurement of software, hardware assembly, and service divisions helpdesc for the needy. The problems that have occurred on the company network is lost, which caused the saturation point in the cable resulting data is entered into a computer can not be transferred to the server, the server is full, because any existing data within the company will be put into memory on the server, and often memory capacity in the server is no longer enough to accommodate the existing data, and the damage - hardware damage caused by the negligence of the user. That requires a risk analysis of quality management and risk management to cope with risks that exist.In this thesis, risk assessments of the quality management and risk management in IT services was carried out. The author uses several sources to help understand and assess the factors - existing risk factors, namely COBIT 4.1, ISO 31000, and Risk Rating Metodhology by OWASP. Based on research and interviews conducted, it was found several risk factors such as lack of Quality Management System that is used to guide the IT division, the absence of a structured risk management at the company, and the absence of criteria for determining the likelihood and impact for risks that were found.Responses should be done by the company is making a Quality Management System that can be used to provide guidance and guidance for IT divisions to carry out the duties and obligations, and implement a risk management used to identify, analyze, and identify ways how to prevent and avoid risks occurs.

Abstract

Making this program aims to interest children in learning to read in a fun way, so that children in the age of the children can master the technique of reading. This is done because of demands for children aged under five are expected to master the technique of reading before they continue their education at the elementary level, but because reading is a basic foundation in communication.For application design researchers using interviews with informants, as well as the selection of the manufacturing features in interactive media.The results of this interactive medium is a game that has two menus is "Start and Quiz", while the material created in this game consists of the introduction of the alphabet as well as the introduction of one to three syllables. The test results of the game is, this game can support and assist in the learning process among teachers, parents and students to read. And these games has an interesting view and in accordance with what they have learned at school, so as to attract the students to use.

Abstract

Technology continues to grow from year to year. One such technology is e-mail that has been developed since 1975 until now. Many people have suffered losses due to missing some information about the conferences in the world and this technology helps to provide all the information about the conferences held in the world to the participants of the conference.This website contains data and the overall schedule of the conference held in the world by using e-mail technology can help participants to obtain various kinds of information and schedules, especially for a conference held in the world, e-mail technology is used to transmit and provide information regularly to the participants of the conference. Based on test results, this website can perform the function add an event to provide conference schedule, and update events to change the provider of input errors on the results of the conference and can also send emails automatically and globally to provide information to the participants in accordance with the desired interest while also e-mail is also biased to provide information about the participants kehangusan members so that it can be a reminder to participants.

Abstract

The main study in this thesis is the design and the development of an expert system with forward chaining and backward chainingmethod. In this thesis, uses the children common disease due tothe body immune in young children is not as good and perfect as adult’s. This makes children to be infected easily.The method used in the development of this expert system isforward chaining and backward chaining, which is driven by the facts that exist. The facts obtained from the patients physical condition, or so-called symptoms. In making this expert system knowledge is required excavation by an expert engineer from the expert of the subject, in this case is a doctor. The process of extracting knowledge by means of interviews.Based on the analysis, this expert system has a percentage of program eligibility to be used by common people is at 85.4%. Moreover about the ease of usage this program also get a high percentage.

Abstract

Mulia Kencana Motor is a motorcycle repair shop. It sells spareparts which is located in Yogyakarta. Since it has opened until present, the selling-buying process is done directly, the user come to the seller, Mulia Kencana Motor, then buys the goods or either makes an order. Mulia Kencana Motor need to have an online website that could connect both parties to sell and buy via website, therefore the range area of customer will be expanded.Through website, Mulia Kencana Motor could do an online selling and expanding the selling area to bring more customers. It also makes more convenience to the buyer, they do not have to come to Mulia Kencana Motor to find the stock, but only by searching it on the website. Based on the result of the observatuin, website enables the customer to do goods tracking, online buying, checking the shipping cost by JNE service. With the results of a questionnaire conducted by 76,5 % getting results we can conclude that it is feasible to use the website Kencana Mulia Motor

Abstract

Organization X is an organization working in the field of education from kindergarten to high school and vocational secondary school. Organization X are now starting to implement an IT system for all business processes that exist in the organization. All the IT services are intended to facilitate the organizations business processes, and the services provided to consumers can be brought to its best. The problem that occurs in Organization X related to the management system is still manually operated, IT equipment such as hardware, network and servers do not meet the requirements to operate well. That problem requires a risk analysis to provide a proper plan of IT services that will be used by the Organization X.In this thesis, the risk analysis assessment is performed based on the condition of the current IT services in Organization X, so as to determine the if Organizational X can assist the planning process of IT services in the future. The analysis is based on comprehension of the business model and strategy, an identification of IT Audit Universe, Control Objective Plan and Organize 1-3, as well as evaluating IT risk factors found. The process of risk analysis is performed using the method of Global Technology Audit Guidelines (GTAG), COBIT 4.1 Plan and Organis 1-3, OWASP Risk Methodology.Based on the examination, a number of IT risks in the Organization X were found, i.e. IT people are not fully involved in determining business goals, resulting in IT Division can not provide maximum role in giving an idea of the progress of IT-related organizations. No particular team established to plan the long-term IT services, resulting in no clear plan on a long-term IT of an organization.

Abstract

PT. X is a company which engaged in distribution and sea lane expedition since 2005. The products that distributed by PT. X are cement and fertilizer subvention. In support of the business process, marketing department of PT. X doesn’t have yet any information system, so that marketing department is using outsource service to support its business process.Marketing department of PT. X needs analysis and design of enterprise architecture information system. Enterprise Architecture Planning is used for the framework. First step of analysis and design of enterprise architecture is analysis of business model and company business strategic. The next step is analysis of recent information technology, understanding the IT problems, and the needs of new IT for the future. After that creating data architecture design and application architecture design based from data and information which obtained from the company. The results of analysis and design of enterprise architecture information system is data architecture report and application portfolio which useful to support business process and information technology improvement for marketing department for PT. X.

Abstract

than SQL is the general idea of this Hadoop implementation. The advancement of technology generates growing amount of data and demands a new method to process the big data. The performance of this hadoop implementation was also compared with that of SQL to prove hadoop’s novelty in processing big data. Moreover different hadoop’s implementations – such as various number of nodes, use of a combiner, and use of different block sizes – were evaluated.Hadoop was implemented for five queries (or problems) in processing the library circulation data. Those five problems are finding the numbers of borrowing transactions categorized by the audio-video types, collection types, titles, locations, and users’ departments.Some conclusions can be drawn based on the hadoop mapreduce implementation. Hadoop’s performance tops SQL’s when large data are being processed. The more the number of computer nodes, the faster the mapreduce application is to complete its execution. Use of a combiner can speed up the application’s execution. The arrangement with full data blocks can give better execution time than that with non-full data blocks does. In this hadoop implementation, the execution time using the block size of 128 MB is smaller than that of 28 MB and 512 MB.

Abstract

Parfumku.net is an online-based company engaged in the service order and delivery of perfume. Business processes owned by parfumku.net today still use the short message service (SMS) media to serve the order and delivery of perfume. Therefore, parfumku.net want to create a website that facilitates the customer to select and purchase the desired perfume, as well as enable the company to serve existing purchases.Website created a variety of features, in accordance with the access rights owned by the user, the admin or customer. Features - features that are owned by users who have access rights as a customer is a view and buy products, features add to cart, and check the status of perfume features purchased. In addition, the website has an added feature that is the discount for booking a certain number of purchases in the form of a package, specific packages with a special price, and ease to choose the delivery services in accordance with customer wishes. As for the admin, there are a variety of features including to input, edit, and delete products, to check the incoming reservations, and see the existing charts. Design and manufacture of the website is done by using the programming language Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Ajax, and JavaScript for the manufacture user interface and functional website, and MySQL for database website. Typing and workmanship websites using notepad ++ software.Based on the questionnaire to 10 respondents which samples were taken randomly from customers parfumku.net. Overall with an average score of 80.28% indicates that the website parfumku.net order goods included in either category.
