Abstract

Survey process in the field needs surveyor to writedown data manually on a paper. Manual data recording process will later be repeated to save it in the computer for a digital data. This process increases the possibility to have an error in the data input step from a handwritten data. Furthermore, there is a need to turn the survey data into a processed data for a decision making purpose by the survey administrator.Android is chosen as the mobile device platform in this thesis, because it is the most used platform in smartphones. Also, it answers the need of a surveyor in the field to easily carry the survey data. Server application uses Node.js framework to minimalize data process between platforms.There are two applications as the result, which are administrator web application and surveyor Android-based application. Web application is for creating, viewing, changing, deleting, and processing question and survey result data. Android-based application is to be used by specific surveyor in the field for answering many kinds of question types that is created in the web application.

Abstract

Technology continues to grow from time to time. One of those technologies that still growing are web-socket and EaseIJS. Many people use these technologies to help website notification process. Those notifications are needed so that user can find out the latest news from a certain website. EaselJS is also one of the technologies that emerges in the field of canvas design.This website contains car sales that allows users to sell their cars throughout Indonesia without opening a physical showroom, as well as advertising in various places. The website provides complete information about the car being sold, from the interior and exterior.Based on test results, this website can run WebSocket function to provide latest ad, and EaselJS to edit the car’s interior pictures that will greatly help the guest to see the interior of a car in an image that has been edited.

Abstract

Currently, Petra Christian University Library provides a form for its users to recommend collection. However, this process is still done manually which causes frequent human error and difficulties in processing. In addition, user has not been able to obtain information about the loans status, including the return date and fines, if any. Based on those problems, the authors made a library user module application.This website application is created using Yii Framework and PostgreSQL database. For book collection recommendation system is based on the collection titles of user’s history loans which is processed by Solr application and user’s interest classification. The live chat feature is built using PHP Socket and HTML5 WebSocket.The final result of this application development is users can create a new collection recommendation and view collection recommendation that have been proposed along with its status. Users can also view their status and history loans as well as the book collection recommendations. Moreover, there is a live chat feature as a form of communication media between the library with its users interactively.

Abstract

Transportation company XYZ is a company engaged in bus-based transport services. Most of the company’s business processes are done manually and don’t have any integrated information system. The company has a program created by a freelance programm, but the program’s features are still incompletes. Thus the analysis and design of enterprise architecture using Enterprise Architecture metod (EAP) are needed for the transportation company XYZ. The first process is analyze the business model and business strategy of the company. After that, identification process to know what information technology that company has, its problems, and company’s needs ini the present and in the future. After all information are gathered then design of data architecture, aplication architecture, and technology architecture process were conducted.

Abstract

PT. X is a company that specializes in the production of iron pipe, which has several divisions to run the operations of the company. Currently the company have an information system to support multiple business processes. That existing information systems still has many shortcomings because it is still not well integrated. The information system is only to support the accounting process and  buying and selling process. Other business processes still using the recording using the Microsoft Excel application. Therefore, analysis and design of enterprise architecure for PT. X will be carried out in this paper. That process use Enterprise Architecture Planning framework. Analysis and designing process begins with understanding the companys business model and strategy. After that, it will continue with the comparison condition information technology to the problems and needs of the future information technology in the company. Then it will continue with data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture design that is consistent with the objectives, strategies, and business processes. The design of data architecture will deliver several company’s sub-systems, such as Purchasing Sub System, Finance and Accounting Sub System, Sales Sub System, Warehouse Sub System, Production Sub Systems, and Personnel Sub System. The design of applications architecture will deliver several applications that support sub-systems that have delivered in data architecture design. The main application is Purchasing Information Systems, Finance and Accounting Information Systems, Sales Information Systems, Warehouse Information Systems, Production Information Systems, and Personnel Information Systems. These applications will be supported by additional applications, such as data provider that serves as a communication tool in the process of exchanging data between applications using a client/server architecture pattern.

Abstract

At this time, the CV Jaya Abadi still record sales, purchase transactions, stock movement, and financial report manually. The CV Jaya Abadi still not using structured information systems. Owner often have difficulties of monitoring the amount of stock for each items. Recording process that still done manually often causes some errors that may disturb the business processes in car salon and waste a lot of time. Based on background of that problem on this CV Jaya Abadi, we designed a system that can process the operational data transactions, making of stock card and Stock, and making the complete financial reports. Application made by web-based program using Framework Laravel, PHP as programming tool and MySQl as database of the program. Record of Administration using perpetual method and card stock using Average.Results that obtained from the application that have been made, are able to record the transaction of sales and purchases, Stock that can set a reminder of the stock availability, accounting journal and report of financial statements that required.

Abstract

In the shipyard industry, ships produced by order and adjust to consumer demand. Business processes that occur at the shipyard company in the shipbuilding process through several stages, ranging from design to delivery. Processes are still done manually so it may cause some difficulty and time. For the solution, system capability is needed to accelerate the business process.  This research considers the OpenERP implementation at PT. XYZ as an application for integrating business processes. The results of this study indicate that OpenERP can answer the problems faced by the business process shipyard company. By using this ERP system offers company integrated system, but success depends on the ERP system implementation strategies are applied. Users can take benefit from the ERP system. The problems of this migration system are on tradition, culture, time and cost.

Abstract

Corporate messenger is the one of the application that can be used for communication in a local area network. The backgrounds of this topic are needs of sending message process in the LAN. The messages which want to be presented are not only in a text format, but also can be in audio visual format. Computer client will connect to the server. When the connection has been established, the client continued the authentication and started sending message between client and server. Audio and video message sending can be done with peer to peer connection with entering the IP address first from remote user that we want to communicate with. The evaluation of this application was done by using 3 computers and as the result, we found that authentication process can work properly, sending text message was done properly and communication using audio can be heard clearly. In addition to video sending message, we could see directly in remote client. The average time to show the video on remote client is 3.771 seconds. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia: Corporate messenger merupakan suatu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk berkomunikasi dalam sebuah Local Area Network. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlu adanya proses pengiriman pesan secara bersama-sama dalam sebuah Local Area Network. Pesan yang ingin dikomunikasikan tidak hanya berupa teks, tetapi dapat juga menggunakan video maupun audio Komputer client akan melakukan koneksi dengan server. Jika sudah terjadi koneksi dengan server, maka client tersebut akan melanjutkan dengan autentikasi dan kemudian dapat melakukan pengiriman pesan dengan client yang telah terdaftar dalam database server. Pengiriman pesan audio dan video terjadi dengan koneksi peer to peer dengan terlebih dahulu memasukkan IP address dari remote user yang ingin diajak berkomunikasi. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga buah komputer dan diperoleh bahwa proses autentikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik, pengiriman pesan teks dapat dilakukan dengan baik dan komunikasi dengan menggunakan audio dapat didengar dengan jelas. Khusus untuk pengiriman pesan dengan menggunakan video dapat langsung dilihat pada remote client. Rata-rata waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menampilkan video pada remote client adalah 3.71 detik. Abstract

As UD. Logam Utama’s business grow, trigger the need of fast and accurate information in order to improve performance, efficiency, control and company’s values. The company needs a system that can integrate each functional area. ERP has centralized database and able to be configured, according to company’s business processes.First phase of application development is analysis and design the company’s business processes. The design phase produce a number of models that will be used to created application.The final result of application development is an ERP application that can be configured with the company’s business process. The ERP application consist of warehouse or production module, purchasing module, sales module, and accounting module.

Abstract

Salah satu sumber daya penting di perusahaan adalah sumber daya manusia, oleh karena ini pengembangan kompetensi sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan adalah dengan mengikuti pelatihan sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaannya. Dengan jumlah karyawan, bidang pekerjaan dan jenis serta topik pelatihan yang banyak, perusahaan seringkali mengalami kesulitan dalam pemilihannya. Untuk membantu perusahaan dalam proses pemilihan pelatihan dan karyawan sebagai pesertanya maka dirancang sistem pendukung keputusan untuk pemilihan pelatihan dengan menggunakan metode PIPRECIA-EDAS. Pada penelitian ini diambil studi kasus untuk sistem pendukung keputusan untuk proses seleksi peserta pelatihan. Aplikasi pendukung keputusan yang dihasilkan, dapat diakses oleh kepala divisi atau manajer. Kriteria penilaian yang dipilih yaitu nilai presensi, hasil uji skill, skill dan penilaian manajer. Penggabungan metode PIPRECIA- EDAS digunakan untuk membantu manajer dalam mengambil keputusan peserta pelatihan.
