Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning strategy based on the student's activity which was held at private Pupils of Kricak Kidul Yogyakarta which includes the teaching and learning process, implementation, and learning assessment as an effort to improve the quality of the education. This was a qualitative naturalistic research. The subject of this research was the principal, teachers, parents and Pupils of Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal Kricak Kidul Yogyakarta’s students. The object of the research was the improvement of education quality based on student activity. Data were collected by interview, observation, documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The result revealed that the teachers understand about their main jobs take as role as executor of learning based on student activity. They understand the steps to implement the learning process based on students activity such as the teacher have planning, implementing, execute assessment, analysis and then follow up of the problem to improve the learning process. Parents fully understand their role so that their student's success in schooling. The student fully understands that learning that match with their activity, and the school principal as a quality controller understand her duty to improve the quality of learning in her school. Although the facilities in the Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal Kricak KidulYogyakarta good enough, it is very important to improve the teaching media in order to improve education quality of the Kindergarten of Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal Kricak Kidul Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to describe management include planning, organizing, evolution and follow up of the supervision conducted by the principal Suronatan Muhammadiyah schools and to determine the factors that support and hinder the implementation of the supervision conducted by the Elementary School Principal Suronatan Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This research was a qualitative model. The data collection was part of the process of searching for data and the part of the data analysis process. This means that, at the time of collecting data, the researcher processed analysis, i.e. reduce, categorize into the group of data, ranging present, and draw conclusions. The results showed that the principal has been carrying out supervision of management include planning, organizing, evaluation, and follow up of the supervision carried principally at SD Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Suronatan. Planning, principals can manage the environment becomes active and creative in improving the quality of learning. Organizing shows how the principal resource organizes, exiting resource in the school to active the highest effectiveness. Evaluation and follow on supervision of principal conducted to determine the factors that support and hinder the implementation of supervision. Another factor that supports the competence Management Support; Empowerment strategies; Supervision Department; presence of Classroom Action Research (classroom Action Research / CAR); Principal Supervision Strategy development; Principals and teachers are professional, innovative, and creative, Among another factor that hinder no indicators of learning materials, the use of which has not varied teaching methods, and lack of control of teachers in active learning models and there is no supervision program is thorough and systematic.

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine: (1) the influence of teaching experience, mastery of learning media and productivity of teacher teaching on teachers terfomance of Elementary School, (2) the influence of teacher teaching experienceon perfomance of Elementary School, (3) the influence of teacher mastery of learning media perfomance of Elementary School, (4) the influence of productivity of teacher teaching perfomance of Elementary School. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The variables in this research are teaching experience, mastery of learning media, productivity of teaching, and teachers perfomance.The population in this research is teachers of the State Elementary School in Kecamatan Sewon Kabupaten Bantul which amounts to 138 teachers. To make sample of this research is representative to the population’s member, sample was draw by using simple random sampling technique. Furthermore researcher choose 107 teachers of Elementary School in Kecamatan Sewon Kabupaten Bantul as sample of research. The dataacquisition were obtained via documentation and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using the multiple linier regression formula involving three independent variabels and using the partial correlation formula, after testing the normality test, linearity test, and multycollinearity test. The result of data analysis shows that: (1) there is a positive and very significant influence of teaching experience, mastery of learning media and productivity of teacher teaching on teachers perfomance amounts 47,3%; (2) there is a positive and very signivicant teacher teaching experience to teacher performance amounts 23,2%; (3) there is a positive and very significant influence mastery of learning media of teacher teaching on teachers perfomance amounts 8,7%; (4) there is a positive and very significant productivity of teacher teaching on teachers perfomance amounts 15,4. The suggestion from researcher is the next researcher can reveal the unreveal relative contribution to get better result.

Abstract

This study was aimed at revealing the effect of headmaster’s leadership, achievement motivation, and compensation on the teachers’ discipline of the Junior High School Teachers in Districts Bantul. The study was conducted in Junior High School  Bantul sub-district Bantul Regency in academic year 0f 2013-2014. This research is a quantitative one using survey method. The population of this research is 105 teachers from 3 Junior High School on district Bantul, Special Province of Yogyakarta, and a sample of 105 teachers, was established using population sample. The descriptive analysis result shows that the principals’ leadership give positive impact and significant of teacher’s discipline. Achievement motivation gives positive impact and significant of teacher’s discipline, and compensation gives positive impact and significant for teacher’s discipline. And simultaneously principals’ leadership, achievement motivation, and compensation gives positive impact and is significant for junior high school teacher’s discipline in Bantul sub-district Bantul Regency. Effective contribution all together is  44.5%. Effective contribution individually of The headmaster’s leadership on the discipline teacher’s is 52.1%, The compensation on the discipline teacher’s is 28.3%, and the compensation on the discipline teacher’s is 19.5%  of the junior high school in Bantul District, Bantul Regency, Special Province of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) determine the applied management education in elementary habituation IT Ihsanul Fikri Magelang in efforts to establish the character of students. 2) determine the effectiveness of the formation character students through the habituation Management. 3) identify supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the habituation management. This study is a qualitative study conducted in SDIT Ihsanul Fikri Magelang. The subjects in this study include principals and vice-principals, teachers, students, parents and school committee. Data collection techniques used in this study are the observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include reduction data, display/presentation of the data and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is conducted by using a triangulation technique to check the validity of the data. The results of the study concluded: 1) Management form of habituation: a.Planning the conditioning program in the character formation of students in SDIT Ihsanul Fikri has been good. b. Organizing management has been firmly habituation, which is the principal in charge, assisted by student vice minister, curriculum vice minister, builder habituation and the class teacher and supported by all components of the school. c Application of management is suited to the type of habituation.Routine habituation routinely is done every day on a regular basis, habituation programmed predetermined schedule. .d Evaluation of habituation management: Management of habituation in SDIT Ihsanul Fikri Magelang already well underway. 2) The formation of character through habituation runs effectively proved to be known and The character values are done in daily life. 3) The supports factors habituation management among others the existence of good habitual programme, infrastructure, human resources, parents supports and the school committee’s ones. The obstacles are less of proper infrastructure,  less concerned parents, any Part of teachers and employees are less concerned, the existence of communities that are less appropriate to education’s character.

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine: 1)  motivation,  competence, and  school culture together against learning management teacher, 2) the effect of work motivation on teacher learning management, 3) the effect of teacher competence on learning management, and 4) the effect of school culture on teacher learning log management on teachers in the Capital Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. This study is a survey that uses a quantitative approach. The populations of study were 108 teachers in Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta spread across 5 schools. This study was a population. The data collection technique used is questionnaires. The validity of the test of one by study Cronbach alpha product Moment correlation, reliability test questionnaire using Cronbach Alpha. Correlative analysis of the data using multiple regression analysis with three predictors F test and partial correlation. The results showed that the variables of work motivation, competence and school culture simultaneously significant effect on the learning management teacher at Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Variable work motivation is the partially significant effect on teacher learning management. Variable competence partially significant effect on teacher learning management. The magnitude of the effective contribution of the three variables, namely the variables of work motivation, competence, and school culture affect the learning management teacher at Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Based on the value of the effective contribution of the independent variables indicate the dominant variables that influence learning management work motivation of teachers is variable.

Abstract

This research was aimed at discovering how far the inclusive school education management in Yogyakarta 15 State Junior High School managed to improve the quality of the learning results of disability students. The education management studied in the research included the planning, implementation, evaluation, obstacle identification and the efforts conducted by the school to improve the quality of the learning results in the academic year 2014-2015. This research was a qualitative type, and the data were collected was conducted bay interviews, observation, and documentation from the beginning to the end of the research. The sources of the data consist of the principle, the vice headmaster, the teachers, counselor teachers for disabled students, the school, and parents and regular students. The validity, reliability and objectivity data were triangulation. The research results showed that the school’s education management was quite good in terms of the implementation, evaluation, and solution for the arising problems. However, the planning for the students, the counselor's teacher to disability students, and the school’s infrastructures and facilities were not optimum yet. In more details, the research results are as follows:1) The planning was not optimum because the school could not admit students with mild slow-learning problems and students with mild mental handicaps because such was not yet regulated in the school’s student admission system. 2) The of instruction implementation ran very well, with satisfactory materials for disability students; and the learning interaction between regular students and the disability students was very conducive. 3) The inclusive school education evaluation was implemented quite well. The evaluation materials were adapted to the condition of the disabled students. The curriculum evaluation was conducted at least once a year. 4) The obstacle was that the government did not provide enough infrastructures and facilities and counselor teachers for disability.students 5) To overcome the obstacle for students disability. But the school could maximize the help from regular students, the regular teachers, and the administrative staff.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mendiskripsikan (1) Implementasi manajemen pembelajaran berbasis afeksi pada penumbuhan budi pekerti yang diselenggarakan di SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta meliputi planning, organizing, actuating dan controling, (2). Hasil pelaksanaan pendidikan afeksi pada penumbuhan budi pekerti di SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta, (3). Faktor kendala dan solusi pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis afeksi di SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Rumber utama penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Humas. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan trianggulasi sumber data dan trianggulasi pengumpulan data. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan (1). Keunggulan sekolah menjadi jati diri dan kepribadian SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. 2). Peningkatan kualitas kedisiplinan beribadah, pembentukan karakter, kedisiplinan pelaksanaan tata tertib, dan lain-lain. (3). Faktor kendala, adanya kewaspadaan sekolah untuk menangkal pengaruh yang kurang baik. Solusi, adanya pemahaman terhadap keunggulan sekolah berbasis afeksi.Keyword : manajemen, pendidikan, afeksi, budi pekerti

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui implementasi manajemen teaching factory di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Kalasan Program Studi Kriya Kulit dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi industri yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi; (2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam implementasi manajemen teaching factory di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Kalasan Program Studi Kriya Kulit dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi industri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Waktu penelitian dilakukan bulan November – Desember 2017. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, interview (wawancara) dengan bentuk wawancara mendalam (in depth interview) dan studi pustaka (dokumen). Hasil peneltian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) implementasi manajemen teaching factory di SMK Negeri 4 sudah baik, perencanaan program kerja teaching factory di SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan sudah direncanakan dengan baik dan didasari landasan hukum yang telah kuat atau sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan RI. Pembuatan perencanaan didasarkan hasil evaluasi atas pelaksanaan sebelumnya yang dilakukan dengan analisis Program yang direncanakan tersebut merupakan usaha yang dilakukan sekolah guna mencapai tujuan sekolah yang telah ditetapkan. Pelaksanaan teaching factory di SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan sudah baik. Hal ini terlihat dari tersedianya sumber daya manusia yang kompeten, adanya kemitraan yang baik dengan perusahaan atau instansi di sekitar jogja, adanya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, dan adanya produk hasil karya siswa berupa kria kulit yang berkualitas. Evaluasi TEFA di SMK N 1 Kalasan telah dilakukan dengan melibatkan semua pihak pengelola TEFA, baik Kepala Sekolah, guru, maupun karyawan. Evaluasi digunakan untuk membuat perencanaan selanjutnya. (2) Faktor pendukung implementasi manajemen teaching factory di SMK Negeri 4 adalah: dari lingkup unit usaha, perkiraan jumlah atau volume pembeli potensia, proyeksi jumlah pembeli 5 tahun ke depan, dari segi produksi, dari segi bahan baku yang kesemuanya memadai. Selain itu memiliki kelebihan-kelebihan dibanding produk pabrikan. Faktor Penghambat implementasi manajemen teaching factory di SMK Negeri 4 adalah: keterbatasan dalam menerima order besar (masal), kelemahan modal usaha, dan kelemahan dalam hal ketepatan waktu.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Manajemen Teaching Factory, Program Studi Kriya Kulit, Upaya Peningkatan Kompetensi Industri

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan sarana prasarana, kesejahteraan guru, dan kepribadian bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri Kelompok Pariwisata Seni dan Kerajinan Kota Yogyakarta Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian akademik, jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei.Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru di SMK 4 Yogyakarta, SMK 5 Yogyakarta dan SMK 6 Yogyakarta sebanyak 343 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah quota proposional sampel random dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 172 orang. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemanfaatan sarana prasarana, kesejahteraan guru, dan kepribadian secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru Pemanfaatan sarana prasarana berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru Kesejahteraan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru Kepribadian berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri Kelompok Pariwisata Seni dan Kerajinan Kota Yogyakarta Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Kata kunci: Pemanfaatan sarana prasarana, kesejahteraan guru, kepribadian dan kinerja guru.
