Relatively little technical talent or material resources have been devoted to improving or optimizing the operations or measuring the quality and productivity of the overall health care system. One need only note that: (1) many patient in Indonesia die and also suffer injuries each year as a result of broken health care processes and system failures; (2) little more than half of patients receive known “best practice” treatments for their illnesses and less than half of physician practices use recommended processes for care. Engineering tools and technologies that could help the health system overcome these crises and deliver care that is safe, effective, patient centered, timely, efficient, and equitable (SEPTEE). Systems engineering tools that have transformed the quality and productivity performance of other large-scale complex systems (e.g., telecommunications, transportation, and manufacturing systems) could also be used to improve health care delivery. Engineering applications with the potential to improve health care delivery in the short, medium, and long terms; and also to rapid improvements in the performance of the health care delivery system.

When human get an older, there more likely to experience physical, mental, spiritual, economic and social problems. One of the most basic problems in the elderly is the health problems caused by the degenerative process. The process of degeneration in the elderly causes an effective sleep time decreases, and causes not achieving adequate sleep quality and cause the sharing of sleep complaints that can disrupt the quality of life of the elderly This study aims to determine the relationship quality of sleep with quality of life in elderly in Surakarta. This research is descriptive correlative research with cross sectional approach. The study population was 334 elderly people in Surakarta. The sample of 96 elderly was obtained by proportional random sampling technique. Data collection used the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire and the WHOQL-BREF (World Health Organization of Life-BREF) questionnaire, while the data analysis used Chi Square test. Chi Square test results p-value of 0.002 so that Hypothetis null was rejected. The conclusion of the study where the level of quality of elderly sleep mostly good, the quality of life of the elderly mostly less and there where correlation level of quality of sleep with quality of life of elderly in Surakarta where better quality of sleep quality of life of elderly higher.

Health Service Center is one of the health service of society that have fundamental duty to give construction of health of elementary health service and society. Result of Quality Assurance Penumping Health Service Center survey team to the patients that visit in the early year of 2006 shown result that 3% patients express dissatisfy, 21% patient less satisfy, 49% patients enough satisfy and 17% expressing satisfy. To analyse the relation between the patient’s perception about the quality of health service with story level of satisfaction patient in Penumping Health Service Center of Surakarta City, done by research with descriptive correlation method of the data is taken by giving kuesioner to 111 patients / families that are use the health service in Penumping Health Service Center with random sampling, the data is processed and also analysed with logistic research. The Result of regresi shown that 1). 37,8 % patients express the quality of service is still lower, and 39,6% expressing satisfaction of patients is still lower. 2). According to the statistical test, prove that there are relation which are positive and signifikan between the quality of health service with satisfaction of the patients in Penumping Health Service Center of Surakarta City. 3). Based on the result of multi variant test in the reality of variable sub quality of the health service in Penumping Health Service Center by giving constribution to get equal to 59,9 % to satisfaction of the patients. Health Service Center suggested to increase its discipline and to join the employees to the training program according to its profession.

Self-esteem is the assessment made by a person against himself. The assessment is usually reflects the acceptance or rejection of him and shows how far people believe that she can be successful, feel important and valuable. To increase the satisfaction of the esteem every aspect of nurses required to have a high motivation to have a good self-satisfaction. As for the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between satisfaction on aspects of self-esteem and motivation of nurses in hospital Panti Rahayu (Yakkum) Purwodadi. This research is a quantitative data in the form of numbers / figures, with a correlation descriptive research design. The population in this study are all nurses in hospital Panti Rahayu (Yakkum) Purwodadi totaling 136 perawat. Sampel used in this study proportional random samplingyang totaling 62 nurses. Data collection techniques using research instruments such as questionnaires. While data analysis technique used is Rank Spearman using SPSS. The results obtained which showed a significant relationship between satisfaction on aspects of self esteem and motivation nurses working in hospital Panti Rahayu (Yakkum) with sig (2-tailed) 0.001. These results indicate that the presence of nurses who work motivation can increase satisfaction in the aspects of high self esteem in nurses in Panti Rahayu (Yakkum) Purwodadi.

Background: hypertension is an illness that is chronic but it often does not prescribe characteristic symptom. Health pertaining to life style often is one factor for someone hypertension disease. The 140 mmHg in systolic and the diastolic fixed or lower than the 90 mmHg. The aspect of the quality of life of social relationships that not capable of interact, good to the family, friend, couple, the son of even the surrounding community will increase the risk of hypertension. In general would hold up progress on a decrease in the quality of life of. Research objectives: research aims to understand the quality of life of social relationship in patients hypertension in the Puskesmas Pajang Surakarta. Benefits: can know whether in the region of Puskesmas Pajang Surakarta. The image of improving the quality of social relationships is good, enough or is weak. Research methodology: Descriptive quantitative research to obtain a simple life the quality of life of social relationships in sufferer hypertension in the Puskemas Pajang Surakarta. The sample is elderly disease sufferers are hypertension is the Puskesmas Pajang Surakarta and were selected based on criteria sample. A measuring instrument used for measuring the quality of social relationships using 5 WHOQOL-BREF the questionnaire who are domain 3 on the quality of social relations and other 2 studies about the quality of life of thoroughly and health have generally. The results of the study: statistical analysis obtained the results, from 48 respondents there ere 25 respondents (52,1%) having the quality of life of social relationship good, respondents who have the quality of relationships social enough of 22 respondents (45,8%) and respondents who have the quality of life of social relationships less of 1 respondents (2,1%). A conclusion: it should also be noted it is anticipated that analysis of the research done by the city government concludes that the aspect of the quality of life of the social relationship on sufferer hypertension in the region of the Puskesmas Pajang Surakarta yields here of either.

Hemodialysis therapy can cause complications and psychological problems in patients with kidney failure. This problem can do treated with non-pharmacological therapies, one of which is music therapy which can improve health in critically ill patients, and eliminate psychosomatic disorders. This study expects to decide the advantages of music treatment on kidney illness patients going through hemodialysis therapy. The method used is a literature review related to the effectiveness of music treatment on patients with chronic kidney, by searching for the latest relevant literature in the last 5th years through Google Scholar and PubMed. The results of the journal analysis found 12 supporting journals which said that music therapy was effective for reducing physiological (pain, vital signs, and fatigue) and psychological disorders (depression, anxiety, and stress), as well as improving the quality of sleep and quality of life of hemodialysis patients. Music therapy is a relaxation therapy that can do done independently to reduce physiological and psychological problems in hemodialysis patients without having any adverse effects at an affordable cost.

The increase in Covid-19 has had a considerable impact in the health service sector, including in the Intensive Care Unit. The impact felt by health workers and patients in the Intensive Care Unit, is not only in terms of physical, but also psychological. Psychological responses are felt differently. The purpose of this literature review is to identify more deeply, the impact of mental health on health workers and patients with Covid-19 in the ICU. Search articles using three databases, namely PubMed, Sciencedirect, Willey Online Library. Based on the search results, 324 articles were found, and 9 of them according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria were used. It was concluded that Covid-19 had a negative impact on the mental health of health workers and patients with Covid-19 in the Intensive Care Unit.Keywords: Covid-19; mental health; health workers; patient; Intensive Care UnitABSTRAK Peningkatan Covid-19 memberi dampak cukup besar di bidang pelayanan kesehatan termasuk di Intensive Care Unit. Dampak yang dirasakan oleh tenaga kesehatan dan pasien di Intensive Care Unit, tidak hanya dari segi fisik, tetapi juga psikologis. Respon psikologis yang dirasakan berbeda-beda. Tujuan literature review ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi secara lebih dalam, dampak kesehatan mental pada tenaga kesehatan dan pasien dengan Covid-19 di ICU. Pencarian artikel menggunakan tiga database, yaitu PubMed, Sciencedirect, Willey Online Library. Berdasarkan hasil pencarian didapatkan 324 artikel, dan 9 di antaranya sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi digunakan. Abstract: Kesehatan reproduksi masih menjadi masalah urgen bagi remaja khususnya anak sekolah. Kasus kehamilan diluar nikah, perilaku seks bebas, penyalahgunaan obat dan zat berbahaya menjadi indikasi keterkaitannya dengan kesehatan reproduksi. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi yang jelas, lengkap dan benar tentang kesehatan reproduksi melalui upaya penyuluhan kesehatan sehingga siswa-siswi lebih memahami pentingnya kesehatan reproduksi. Metode pengabdian menggunakan penyuluhan (health education). Mitra pengabdian adalah Sekolah Menengah Atas Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta, dengan jumlah peserta 32 anak dari kelas 1, 2 dan 3. Alat evaluasi untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap menggunakan angket, 20 item dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil penyuluhan terhadap mitra menunjukkan peningkatan aspek pengetahuan sebesar 15% dari angka awal 30% dan aspek sikap 35% dari angka awal 40%. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian perlunya dilakukan penyuluhan yang terjadwal (semester) dengan tema variatif, kegiatan penyuluhan perlu dimasukan dalam kegiataan ekstra kurikuler, dan penyuluhan dilakukan secara multidisiplin.Abstract: Nowadays reproductive health issue is an urgent problem for adolescents. Pregnancy out of wedlock, free sex, drug and hazardous substance abuse are indications of its relation to reproductive health topic. The purpose of this community service is to provide clear, complete and correct information about reproductive health through health education so the students understand more about the importance of reproductive health. The community service method were use counseling technique. The partner is Muhammadiyah-6 High School of Surakarta with a total of 32 participant. An evaluation tool to measure the level of knowledge and attitudes were use a Likert Scale questionnaire include 20 items. The results shows that of outreach to partners was increase in the knowledge aspect by 15% from the baseline of 30% and the attitude aspect also increase 35% from the baseline of 40%. Based on the results of community service, it is necessary to carry out scheduled counseling (semester) with varied themes, extension activities need to be included in extra-curricular activities, and counseling is carried out in a multidisciplinary.

Abstrak: Masalah psikologis adalah masalah yang paling sering dialami lanjut usia. Menjadi tua akan mengalami banyak kemunduran secara fisik, biologis, mental, social, dan spiritual. Kasus lansia mengalami sakit atau menderita penyakit, mengalami stress, cemas dan depresi adalah beberapa masalah yang dialami lansia. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan, mengajak, dan merangsang lansia melakukan aktifitas berkebun sebagai bentuk terapi komplementer yang bermanfaat untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah yang dirasakan dan dialami lansia selama tinggal di Balai Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werda. Metode pengabdian menggunakan pendekatan aktifitas kelompok bersama, yaitu berkebun (field group activity with gardening). Mitra pengabdian adalah Wisma Jolotundo Balai Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werda Sleman Yogyakarta. Jumlah lansia yang terlibat sebanyak 17 orang. Alat evaluasi untuk mengukur tingkat stress menggunakan angket Stress Scale, 14 item dengan menggunakan skala Likert 4 tingkat. Hasil aktifitas berkebun bersama mitra menunjukkan penurunan tingkat stress. Lansia yang mengalami stress berat menurun 8%, stress sedang dan stress berat menurun 5%. Tim pengabdi merekomendasikan berkebun sebagai agenda tetap di Balai, menjadikan varitas tanaman dijadikan warung hidup, perlunya diversifikasi tanaman untuk memperkaya kebun yang dikelola. Abstract: Psychological problems are the most common problems experienced by the elderly. Growing old suffers many physically, biologically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. Cases of the elderly experiencing illness or suffering from illness, experiencing stress, anxiety and depression are some of the problems experienced by the elderly. The purpose of this community service is to introduce, invite, and stimulate the elderly to do gardening activities as a form of complementary therapy that will be useful to overcome the problems felt and experienced by the elderly while living at the Balai Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werda. The service method uses a group activity approach, namely gardening. The partner is Wisma Jolotundo Balai Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werda Sleman Yogyakarta. Evaluation tool to measure stress levels using the Stress Scale questionnaire, 14 items using the 4-Likert scale. The results of gardening activities showed a decrease in stress levels. Seniors who experienced severe stress decreased by 8%, moderate and severe stress decreased by 5%. The team recommends gardening as a fixed agenda in the Balai, making plant varieties into living stalls, the need for plant diversification to enrich the managed gardens.

ABSTRACT Hypertension is a disease that has a high prevalence of 25.8% in 2013 and increased to 34.1% in 2018, based on Riskesdas data. The elderly are at risk of hypertension due to the aging process. Many factors can cause hypertension in the elderly, one of which is sleep problems. Sleep quality can affect heart rate. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and changes in blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension in Luwang village, Gatak Health Center work area. Using correlational design method through cross sectional approach. Sleep quality data collection methods using sleep qualiy scale questionnaires, and blood pressure measurements using digital sphygmomanometers. The research sample was 37 respondents aged >60 years with the Cluster Sampling technique, researchers took the entire sample members (total population), and used Chi-Square test data analysis. Based on the results found a significant relationship between sleep quality and systole blood pressure (p 0.045 <alpha 0.05), but there was no relationship between sleep quality and diastole blood pressure (p 0.480 <alpha 0.05). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between sleep quality and changes in blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension in Luwang village, Gatak Health Center work area. Lansia risiko mengalami hipertensi karena terjadinya proses penuaan. Banyak faktor yang dapat menyebabkan hipertensi pada lansia salah satunya adalah masalah tidur. Kualitas tidur dapat mempengaruhi denyut jantung. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan perubahan tekanan darah pada lansia penderita hipertensi di desa luwang wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gatak. Menggunakan metode desain korelasional melalui pendekatan cross sectional. Metode pengumpulan data kualitas tidur menggunakan kuesioner sleep quality scale, dan pengukuran tekanan darah menggunakan sphygmomanometer digital. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 37 responden berusia >60 tahun dengan teknik Cluster Sampling peneliti mengambil keseluruhan anggota sampel (total population), dan menggunakan analisa data uji Chi-Square. Berdasarkan hasil didapatkan hubungan yang signigfikan antara kualitas tidur dengan tekanan darah sistol (p 0,045 <alpha 0,05), namun tidak ada hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan tekanan darah diastol (p 0,480 <alpha 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan perubahan tekanan darah pada lansia penderita hipertensi di desa Luwang wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gatak.
