Abstract

Internet of Things is a term that describes the relationship of an object (things) with other objects through a wireless network such as the internet without requiring interaction with humans. Internet of Things is one of the trends in the world of technology that can be applied in every area of ​​life. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) to participants who are Civil Servants within the Ministry of Education and Culture. The method of implementing the activities is carried out through several stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. As a result of this activity, participants understand the concept and workings of IoT, the functions and benefits of IoT, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of IoT through the examples of the application of IoT in the field of government given. Abstract

The world is currently experiencing a big issue since the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the global pandemic status of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). To prevent the spread of COVID-19, university leaders must choose to disable lecture activities in the campus environment and enforce online learning for students. E-learning is one type of learning that utilizes information and communication technology then it can be accessed by students anytime and anywhere. Universitas Budi Luhur has implemented e-learning since 2019, but there is still unpreparedness in its implementation. It is necessary to measure quantitatively to determine the level of e-learning readiness of Universitas Budi Luhur. E-learning readiness level measured based on the e-learning readiness model used. Data collection uses questionnaires and interviews, while data processing uses descriptive statistical techniques. The results show that the Universitas Budi Luhur e-learning readiness index is at a ready level yet only needs improvement in implementing it. Keywords : e-learning, model, readiness

Abstract

Bank Sampah Matahari Kelurahan Pedurenan dibentuk sebagai salah satu upaya dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dari sampah. Dengan periode bulanan, Bank Sampah Matahari melakukan kegiatan penimbangan sampah yang dikumpulkan oleh warga yang menjadi nasabah Bank Sampah Matahari. Nasabah mengisi formulir setor sampah, menimbang sampahnya, kemudian pengurus bank sampah akan mencatatnya di buku tabungan sampah milik nasabah. Sampah yang semakin banyak tentu akan menimbulkan masalah, sehingga memerlukan pengolahan seperti membuat sampah menjadi produk yang berguna. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan para pengurus Bank Sampah Matahari dengan memberikan edukasi dan pengetahuan mengenai bank sampah digital melalui Aplikasi Mobile Bank Sampah Matahari serta pelatihan mendaur ulang sampah menjadi produk yang memiliki manfaat ekonomi. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memuat tahapan yang terdiri dari sosisalisasi, pelatihan, dan penerapan teknologi. Peran aktif pengurus Bank Sampah Matahari sebagai mitra dan peserta menjadi kunci suksesnya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Kegiatan ini meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen mitra dalam mengelola bank sampah sebesar 87% dan meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengolah sampah sebesar 100%.
