Abstract

The industry that is experiencing significant development is the music industry. An example of its development is the many online music service providers of application platforms. The amount of data stored makes it difficult to analyze existing data, the presence of Machine Learning is felt to be able to answer these challenges. Improving user experience is important to attract users to use the applications they have. The recommendation system is one way to improve that. This research aims to create a system that can present music recommendations according to user preferences so that the user's comfort level will increase. The system developed in this research uses the Extreme Programming method with several stages, namely planning, design, coding, and testing. This research utilizes Machine Learning in searching for data patterns and Content-Based Filtering (CBF) methods in finding recommendations. The recommendation system with the CBF method can produce a song similarity level of up to 0.6684, as well as the value of precision reaching 0.125 and 0.200 at recall. The results of Performance Testing and System Testing obtained stated that the recommendation system can run well with an average response time 3.5 seconds. The conclusion of this research is that the recommendation system using the CBF method can produce recommendations that are in accordance with user preferences, but with not too much data. More effective algorithms are needed for larger data.

Abstract

The best employee selection is an award given by the company to employees who can encourage all employees to improve their performance. However, for the assessment is usually still done subjectively and manually, and at least the support system in making decisions into this problem can be a problem. This study aims to build a decision support system in the selection of the best employees in accordance to the requirements specified by the company by using the Prototype model. Meanwhile, the method applies to test the consistency and accuracy of this system use the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Weighted Product (WP). In selecting the best employees, there are several criteria to be assessed, namely: Knowledge, Ability, Attitude, Attendance, and Cooperation, as well as the number of subjects of this study consisting of five people. Our findings show that the accuracy rate of this system is below 10%, and the consistency index value is correct, so it can be used with a relative number of initial weights = 1. After testing or testing, the results obtained are all components or modules in this system already successfully and properly used as it should be.

Abstract

Pelatihan Komputer dengan menggunakan metode Andragogi RAMP 2 FAME (Recency, Appropriatenes, Motivation, Primacy, 2 Way Communication, Feedback, Active learning, Multi sense learning dan Exercise) bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan komputer Microsoft Word untuk pembuatan proposal dan laporan posyandu dimana metode ini mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan, tanggung jawab selama kegiatan pembelajaran serta umpan balik dari peserta sehingga tutor dapat mengetahui tingkat perubahan yang terjadi pada peserta pelatihan dimulai pada saat sebelum dan saat berlangsung kegiatan belajar. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 10 peserta kader PKK yang terdiri dari ibu -ibu usia dewasa dan lanjut dari kelurahan Rangkapan Jaya Baru, setelah dilakukan pelatihan selama 6 jam, para kader PKK memiliki kemampuan untuk membuat cover yang menarik, membuat penomoran bab dan sub bab otomotis, penomoran halaman, table of content, table dan formatting table. Dari hasil kuesioner awal diketahui bahwa  kompetensi awal para kader PKK dalam penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Word untuk pembuatan proposal dan laporan yang sesuai dengan format data posyandu diketahui bahwa  60% kader PKK masih belum bisa  memanfaatkan aplikasi Microsost Word untuk  pembuatan proposal dan laporan sedangkan 40% sudah dapat menggunakan Microsoft Word, setelah selesai pelatihan diperoleh hasil bahwa 50% mengatakan mudah, 30% sedang dan 20% sulit dalam memanfaatkan Micosoft Word sebagai media pembuatan proposal dan laporan yang baik.

Abstract

Attendance is a mandatory procedure that is always carried out by every employee in his institution including Cv Wiragati Media. Problems have been found with the current attendance system, the attendance process at Cv Wiragati Media is still using a manual system using a clock check tool where there is still a gap for employee delays in coming to the office, resulting in frequent employees manipulating their attendance data. To improve the attendance system, in this case, it uses the NodeMcu ESP8266 microcontroller where this microcontroller is a monitoring and controlling system and the RC522 RFID Reader as a module for reading RFID cards. Where later each employee only needs to attach the RFID card to the RC522 RFID Reader Module which has been given and registered by the institution for real time employee attendance (arrival and return) processes. With this system, the institution can see the attendance data of all employees in real time which is web-based and makes it easier for the admin or operator who is in charge of recapitulating employee attendance. Abstract

AbstractThe Research Aim is to analyze and design an Interactive Multimedia-based Academic Information Kiosk Application at Private University in Jakarta which can help to increase speed and ease of service for prospective students and visitors by integrating all information services which presented in a comprehensive manner, personalized and also give the interesting experience for the user, and certainly this is a competitive advantage which can trigger to increase number of prospective students. Rapid Application Development (RAD) is used as methodology which consists of requirement planning, workshop design, implementation and alpha testing. The achieved result is an Interactive Multimedia-Based Information Center Application has an attractive presentation that can help candidate students and visitors to get the desired information services more easily and quickly. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu requirement planning, desain workshop, implementation dan di tambah dengan pengujian alpha.Hasil yang dicapai adalah Aplikasi Kiosk Informasi Akademik berbasis Multimedia Interaktif yang dapat memudahkan calon mahasiswa dan pengunjung untuk mendapatkan layanan informasi yang diinginkan secara lengkap,dan dengan presentasi yang menarik sehingga dapat mendapatkan informasi lebih mudah dan cepat. Perbedaan penelitian dengan sebelumnya terletak pada Metodologi dan Obyek penelitiannya. Abstract

[Bahasa]: Tujuan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada para remaja tentang membuat digital academics writing yang berbasis COST (comprehensive, objective, systematic, trusted) sehingga dapat Meningkatkan wawasan pengetahuan tentang menulis makalah atau karya tulis yang baik dan benar. Disamping itu juga meningkatkan hubungan dan kerjasama antara Universitas Budi Luhur dengan Warga Puri Cinere Hijau Depok sebagai mitra. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey, wawancara, penyampaian materi dan praktikum serta memberikan kuesioner sebagai feedback dari mitra dan evaluasi dari kegiatan PKM. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Word dalam pembuatan digital academics writing yang berbasis COST berjalan dengan baik dan terbukti berdasarkan Analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa respon remaja terhadap Evaluasi pelatihan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam Digital Academics Writing berbasis COST dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 71%. Serta berdasarkan hasil evaluasi proses pelatihan menunjukkan 90% peserta setuju isi materi pelatihan jelas dan mudah dipahami, 80% Tutor memberi kesempatan untuk bertanya, 90% peserta sangat setuju bahwa tutor mampu menjawab pertanyaan peserta dengan jelas, 70% Peserta setuju bahwa tutor membantu dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan contoh latihan jelas dan mudah dipahami. Pelatihan ini meningkatkan kompetensi remaja dalam bidang menulis makalah atau bentuk digital academic writing lainnya serta memiliki dampak sangat positif bagi remaja khususnya pelajar dan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas harian sekolah atau kampus dan juga sebagai modal dalam penyusunan makalah dan skripsi nantinya. Kata Kunci: digital academics writing, COST [English]: This community service aims to increase teenagers’ knowledge and skills on how to make Digital Academics Writing based by COST (comprehensive, objective, systematic, trusted) to increase their writing quality. It also improves relations and cooperation between Budi Luhur University and the partner (Puri Cinere Hijau Depok residents). The methods used were surveys, interviews, expository, and practicum. Questionnaires were also given to the participants as an evaluation of the program. The training on using Microsoft Word application to create Digital academic Writing based on COST was running well. The questionnaire results showed that the program improved participants’ Digital Academics Writing skills based on COST with 71% average. The evaluation of the training reveals that 90% of the participants agreed that the training content is clear and understandable, 80% agreed that the tutor facilitated a discussion, 90% strongly agreed that the tutor could answer the participants’ questions clearly, and 70% agreed that tutor had helped the participants to understand the delivered lesson, and appropriately given the exercises. The program has improved the participants’ competence in writing papers or another digital academic writing form. Also, it gives a strong positive impact on school students and university students to complete their daily school or college tasks and as a preparation for writing the thesis.
