Abstract

Abstract   In the process of thinking, humans need a methodology as a guide to be orderly and directed. Likewise in understanding social phenomena. For ordinary people, social phenomena are seen as a daily reality. For researchers, behind a social phenomenon there is a discrepancy between the ideal concept and reality. This community service activity was carried out to provide training to the Indonesian People's Struggle Union – Serikat Perjuangan Rakyat Indonesia (SPRI). SPRI as a non-profit organization that focuses on urban poverty issues requires a way to use research methodologies in a short, fast and precise way in understanding and finding solutions to poverty problems in the capital city of Jakarta. This training is carried out by providing material ranging from the basic understanding of research to the process of using the preparation of research methodologies to support the tasks of SPRI.   Keywords: Research Methodology, Social Research   Abstrak   Dalam proses berpikir, manusia membutuhkan metodologi sebagai penuntun agar tertib dan terarah.

Abstract

The focus in this article is the development of a hydroponic vegetable business. The hydroponic system is well known by the public, in addition to the relatively easy system and application of this system, the grower does not interact with the soil, the hydroponic system is also one of the implementations of the agricultural intensification system. Because the planting rack can be made with a multilevel system, so that with a small area, it can produce quite a lot of plants. The problem faced by hydroponic farmers is the marketing system. Often hydroponic farmers with home scales still have difficulty in marketing their products, the problems are more or less as follows; 1) The operational cost of hydroponic plants is relatively expensive, this affects the selling price. While the general public at the vegetable craftsman only knows conventional vegetables, where the operational costs are relatively cheap and are sold at low prices. So often hydroponic vegetable products cannot compete in price. 2) The market for hydroponic vegetables is in supermarkets, but hydroponic farmers on a home scale with small and relatively unstable production capacity find it difficult to enter supermarkets. These two things are the basis of this writing, which is expected to be a reference for hydroponic farmers in order to optimize existing market opportunities.

Abstract

The better the literacy of the people, the better the level of thinking and the achievement of the progress of the community in various aspects of life. However, in reality our current literacy culture is still low.  Currently the partner has a side of the reading garden established in 2021 known as Fontabaca Park. But unfortunately, the establishment of a reading garden was not fully utilized by children and teenagers. This is exacerbated by the lack of reading material available in the reading garden. The lack of interest in reading or borrowing books is partly due to the lack of socialization related to literacy activities to children and adolescents in the Fontania region. The method of implementing activities starts from counseling, training, mentoring and evaluation. The results of each stage of the implementation activity start from the counseling activities carried out by analyzing the problem then continued with mapping the solutions provided for partners. Followed by providing training activities related to reading literacy and the formation of reading garden cadres. Mentoring activities are in the form of procurement of needed reading book materials and involving participants to label and collect reading books. Evaluation activities obtained an average percentage of 98% of the impact of activities carried out by the implementation team as an effort to optimize the existing Fontabaca park.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the theory of securitization and relate it to the strategy undertaken by the Indonesian government to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. This is interesting to study because the main demands on every country during this pandemic are; what to do, how to do it, is the strategy for handling Covid-19 by the state the answer for the wider community? This question is the duty of the state to be able to provide a sense of security for the community. The research methodology will be carried out under a qualitative umbrella with the thick description method. The results found in this study were that Indonesia initially considered Covid-19 only as a health problem before the WHO gave an appeal. It can be said that this appeal is a norm that was formed in which Indonesia must implement an appeal from WHO. This is a turning point for the Indonesian government in dealing with the spread of Covid-19. In addition to forming this justification, the Indonesian people are also an important object in tackling the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia where the level of discipline of the Indonesian people determines the success of the Indonesian Government's direction in the issue of the spread of COVID-19 as a security issue.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has entered human life in a short time. This causes several aspects of human life to experience shocks, including currency. Many product scopes have been affected by this pandemic, including the food and beverage business sector. The food and beverage business sector must remain active and think of ways to attract customers and make these customers satisfied with the services provided. In the context of customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction is not necessarily obtained at that time instantly because their needs are met. Customer satisfaction is established and maintained by fulfilling personal needs and touching the emotional aspects of customers. Solidarity, the sensitivity of being part of a family, is the satisfaction customers want during the pandemic and becomes the new normal.
